Just the perfect location
Stunning views and fresh air, loved the location and the room size was spacious.We had a lovely welcome cream tea, and the amenities are as mentioned, they are happy to give you more when you run out of tea. The areas of improvement is that there was a bit of black mould in various areas in the bathroom and in general the room didnt feel 5*. I would recommend staying here, if you simply ignore the star rating and enjoy your time in this lovely farm.

Hi and thank you for lovely feedback. The room you stayed in is a converted stone built farm building that is, at very least, 200 years old. Constructed without the modern 20th century benefits of foundations, tanking and damp proof courses, we prefer retaining as much authenticity and character as possible. This does present challenges, one of which is a continuous maintenance programme. As it happens, we had noticed the situation and have the bathroom blocked for maintenance as the first available opportunity. Thank you for letting us know.

The owners and staff have taken great care to put appropriate COVID precautions in place to protect guests and staff. Breakfast in particular was really well thought out. We felt really safe during our stay. It is a gorgeous location with very helpful and attentive staff and we will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful Rooms
Beautiful converted barn which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were very friendly and couldnt do more. The setting was beaurtiful on a working farm, but be aware that it is a 40minute walk into Polperro!

Hi Michael Thank you for your lovely review. We like to think that we are distant enough to be away from the holiday crowds, but not too distant from the beaches, restaurants and pubs near us. Many of our guests do walk to Polperro (its downhill) and catch a taxi back.

Good: - The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious overall and well separated from others - The staff were kind and friendly - The breakfast was good - We would definitely stay again Could do better: - the room was very cold in winter - due to it being a stone building it needed more than a whole day to warm up after we arrived, and the radiators were not very hot - the shower head was full of limescale so it wasn't very comfortable to use. No shower gel was provided and the staff couldn't find any, although the booklet said it should have been - the TV was very small

Dear Steve: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a nice and helpful review. I could not agree you with you more, our staff are indeed lovely and Angie does cook up a great breakfast. I am sorry that Courtyard took so long to warm up as it is normally a very warm room. Behind the scenes Trenderway is a very Green business and the entire farm is heated by our 199kw wood chip burning Biomass boiler. These boilers don't like change and on Friday we had just installed a replacement part in the burn chamber which did not settle down and our staff were tending the boiler on Saturday and on Sunday. We do look forward to welcoming you back and next time Courtyard will be warm. Thanks for letting us know about the small housekeeping improvements, we will get these sorted. I can inform you that we are just about to change our in room toiletries for something very very nice..... Best Wishes Yaron

Lovely, quiet setting, within a working farm, that has close access to main roads. Very good and tasty breakfast menu. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Would definitely come again!

Lovely place in a lovely location if you don't mind being a bit off the beaten track then this is ideal. Having your own front door and loads of room feels like self catering but better, by having your breakfast made for you.

Really really nice place, great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and ideal for where I wanted to be. Everywhere is a car ride away, but the area if you have a car is beautiful, really impressed with the facilities, would definitely stay again.

Trenderway Farm...magic!
What an absolute gem of a place! My girlfriend and I recently stayed for two nights, having been camping for two nights prior to our stay further West in Cornwall (near Penzance), and Trenderway was just the 'comfort' aspect of our holiday that we needed! Extremely cosy and with all the rural idiosyncracies that make a place like that special to us...friendly dogs, cats and ducks wandering around, wonderful view from the breakfast area (textbook "Green and pleasant land"), still a working farm feel, and finally very tastefully decorated authentic farmhouse-style rooms and surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff to round it all off.

A wonderful place to get away from it all. We had a few nights in the remote Meadow Barn and it completely surpassed expectations. The breakfast was great but what's even better is that you're left to it and can do as little or as much in the day as you feel; they clean you room whilst you're at breakfast so no pressure.

We wanted to chill for 4 days and we did exactly that - exploring Cornwall history and places like the Eden Project was brilliant for us. Great pubs and restaurants and really friendly people- Jacquie, our host was very knowledgeable of the area and things to do and serves a wonderful breakfast.

Secluded spot for a romantic weekend away
My partner and I wanted a nice quiet place to relax for the weekend, and Trenderway Farm seemed to fit the bill judging from the pictures we saw online. Indeed, the Farm was idyllic and our room was beautiful and comfortable. We had incredible views of the countryside and enjoyed lounging in the garden after breakfast in the conservatory. We were quite close to both Looe and Fowey, so it was easy to go elsewhere (in our case, Talland Bay Hotel) for dinner or a day trip. The hotel staff were very accommodating of our late arrival, even though this caused a couple of complications for the owners' travel plans. We were allowed to request a late departure, but, unfortunately, we weren't able to get more than 30 minutes added on to our check-out time, which was a bit of an inconvenience; a 10:30 departure time seems a bit early for a Sunday during a holiday. We noticed that some of the cheese on offer at the buffet was a little mouldy, but our cooked breakfast was very tasty. All in all, it was a great place to have a getaway, though I do recommend arriving while it's still late out, since it's not easy to find and see the signs after dark! (That said, there are lots of signs around to help you find your way!)

Booked this B&B last minute after looking at reviews on line.No wonder most reviews are 5 star.This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, including big chain hotels.Owners are very welcoming, surrounding is beautiful & the room was spotless. What a refreshing change having your room cleaned whilst being at breakfast(which is very nice by the way),so there's no rush to get out! Farmyard animals, 2 adorable dogs and fresh produce a plenty. Perfect Bliss!!!!

A warm and gracious welcome including freshly baked cones and tea. Superb 5 star accommodation. Well located to interesting Cornwall villages, excellent restaurants and beautiful landscapes. My wife and I hadnt been to Looe and Polpero sice we were kids, Sue used to stay in farmhouses and really enjoyed it. As it was our Ruby wedding anniversary , I took her to trenerway as a surprise We loved it, the room was brilliant, the breakfast the best I have had Looe and Polpero are almost as they were all those years ago and within a 10 minute drive

Wonderful way to see in 2014
Jacquie and Yaron are excellent hosts and we had a most lovely stay at Trenderworth. We arrived late on the 30th Dec having only booked that day. Yaron arranged for us to have dinner on NYE in a lovely restaurant in Polperro - we even had a little hidden kitchen in our spacious room. Breakfast was a real treat and rather filling - Jacquies scrambled eggs are delicious and the croissants flaky and buttery. All the small niggles folks usually put up with when staying away from home were wonderfully absent. Lights were turned on for us coming back in the dark, there where good toiletries, pro hair dryers, febreze air spray in the loo, just every little thing that makes a stay easy and relaxing. Our hosts were interesting and genuinely lovely people, it is so rare to feel as relaxed as we did there. We will certainly be back. Perfect way to bring in the new year.

Peace and Tranquility in Cornwall
We recently stayed at Trenderway Farm as part of a post Christmas road trip around Devon and Cornwall: Trenderway is a quiet secluded farm bed and breakfast close to Looe and Polperro. We were greeted by the hens on arrival who followed us down to reception. The farmhouse itself is renovated to the highest quality and the owners friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were given scones, jam and clotted cream before being shown to our room (we stayed in The Willow Room). We enjoyed a beautiful cooked breakfast the next morning in the conservatory overlooking the fields. Don't miss the signpost to the farm shortly after you turn off the Looe - Polperro road before you reach Pelynt

Our second stay at Trendaway farm. Lovely accommodation, Staff extremely helpful and have good local knowledge. Everything is provided to ensure you have a comfortable stay, accommodation is of a high standard. Trendaway breakfasts are epic and will keep you going all day. It is a lovely peaceful setting, leaving you relaxed and refreshed at the end of your stay, making you wish you could stay longer.

Attention to detail alongside a fantastic location make this B&B a very good choice for holiday conessoirs looking for an upmarket getaway. A call before arrival with an offer to plan your stay with local restaurant bookings and travel advice, through an arrival cream tea made a great start to our visit in this tranquil hideaway near Looe. There is lots to do and see nearby but the hosts will explain this to you after arrival and even offer local advice on what to do and what to avoid - local knowledge always comes in handy. This B&B is worthy of it's 5 star rating.

This place truly is 5* the service you receive is fantastic! The little added extras they provide make your stay very special - an example of this :- usually when you arrive they give you a cream tea to welcome you, when we arrived the owners were not there (they had someone waiting in there place though to greet us), For a moment we thought oh well...missed Out on the cream tea...never mind...as we were discussing this and looking round are fantasic room,there was a knock on the door I opened it and there was a man who introduced himself as a local restaurant owner just down the road, i was quite baffled at first and then he lifted up a tea towel that was covering a freshly made (scones and all) cream tea!! The owners on the farm had made sure we still were getting the 5* treatment even though it wasn't from them! What a lovely touch and things like this happened throughout our stay! The breakfast certainly is award winning!! Make sure you ask them to suggest where you can eat and visit as we would never have found the wonderful restaraunts about without them! We did not want to leave and would like to stay again ASAP! The hayloft room is amazing and a great place to relax and watch the world go by, it was spotlessly clean and everything was of the highest quality! FANTASTIC!

Jaquie and Yaron made us feel very welcome with a cream tea on arrival. All their staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional and with lots of choice. It is in a lovely peaceful setting, with Looe and Polperro very close by, and with easy touring distance for popular attractions. The accommodation was great with lots of thought given to their guests comforts. We had such a great time we stayed for an extra night.

Fantastic Romantic Escape
Just returned from a weekend at Trenderway Farm, this place is unique. On arrival you are met by 2 friendly dogs and then by Yaron and Jacquie who welcome you with a fresh warm cream tea. Stayed in the Hayloft which is furnished to very high standard and caters for your every need. The scenery is lovely and you are supplied with wellies so you can take a walk around the farm and down to their lakes, which I couldn't resist after we checked in. Breakfast you have a large selection of choice and I can honestly say the next time I ate was in the evening, very filling. This is an idea place for a romantic escape with no children in sight! Yaron and Jacquie make you feel like you are friends of the family and the rating of 5* is well deserved. We have found our 2nd home and will be returning next year.

We have stayed at Trenderway before ! The reason that we return is because the consistent quality and warm welcome from Jaquie and the staff removes any worries, ensuring a `special` break. The accomodation is superb and very well serviced. Trenderway is a working farm - but they manage to combine this reality with a particularly fine accomodation experience. We`ve already got ideas for the next time we visit.........

I was looking for somewhere to get away from it all.......close to the coast but somewhere where my husband and I could completely chill out following a recent bereavement. Trenderway Farm was all this and much more. From the complimentary Cornish cream tea on arrival, amazing breakfasts & recommendations for dinner to the cafetiere, fresh milk (in room fridge) and ground coffee in the beautiful room - the food was fantastic. The setting was stunning - lakes to walk around, alpacas, chickens and ducks in the field opposite our room. And all only a gentle five mile round walk to Polperro through the woods. However, best of all, the wonderful welcome and service from Jackie, Yaron and all of their team. Thanks - we'll be back and telling all our friends about this fantastic find!

Trenderway Farm - must be one of the best
This is a lovely place to stay, unfortunately we only booked one night but would love to stay again. Room was lovely, large with sitting area and kitchenette, all finished to high standard. Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was top class and served in conservatory overlooking countryside. Definately thee place to stay if in Cornwall!
