Priceless Family Vacation

Our family had a fantastic week at the Queen of Cozumel. We woke up to the most beautiful view from our bedroom that we just had to lay there and admire it for a while: a perfect white sand beach with cushy lounge chairs under palm trees looking out over every shade of blue in the Carribean. We had such a great time playing with our kids and grandkids in the sand, in the ocean, and in the pool.The sunset views from our dinner table on the upper deck will stick with us for a long while! Wonderful house and location!

Jasianna Jaxen’s beach house is beautiful and great for families. The pots and pans were pristine, instead of peeling Teflon often found at other places. Beach towels and toys were provided. Our dive boat came right to the pier in front of the house. The grandkids loved the shallow kid’s pool while the adults cooled off in the regular one. We’re already discussing when we can return.

A trip to Paradise!!

Probably one of the best places I have stayed when you look a everything. A beautiful, well stocked home directly on the each! That in itself is enough, but add to the fact that that you are in a gated community of about 20 homes, some private, some rentals but all beautifully maintained! The community pool was probably one of the cleanest I have seen! But the best part is the owner...the most attentive, accommodating and passionate people I have met! You need to go here...you will not be sorry!

Renewing Family Vacation in the Sun

The pictures of this property are great, but they still don't do the property justice. The property is more amazing in person than the pictures portray! The house is spacious with more than enough room for everyone. The private beach was our favorite place to be the entire week, from morning coffees to evening sunsets. Jasianna is the perfect host. She helped us with a snorkel tour that was amazing! And they picked us up right at the dock outside our backdoor. She also arranged cab rides, and groceries for our first night there as we arrived very late. I highly recommend this property. We plan to come back again.

Wow, just WOW

This might just be the best vacation experience we've ever had. We traveled to Cozumel with a large group (4 adults, and 7 teens/early 20's). This house and property completely exceeded our expectations. First, Jasianna, our host, was incredibly gracious, helpful, and responsive. Her recommendations for chef service were spot on (both the hibachi experience and the mexican barbeque were phenomenal), she also had great recommendations for taxi service, excursions, and arranged for grocery delivery for us. Because of this, we didn't feel we needed to rent a car, which saved us both money and hassle. Second, the house was just perfect for our needs. Plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels and extras like a small cooler, a soccer ball, etc that made the trip feel more like home. And, it was spotless - seriously the cleanest VRBO I think we've ever had anywhere. The layout was great, we especially loved the 2nd story deck for unwinding after an active day. And, with 11 people, there were plenty of bathrooms, which was important! Third, the location is perfect. The community is quiet and safe, with a shared pool, beach and dock. The security guards were super helpful and friendly, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. It was walking distance to a great beach club (Paradise) where we spent a fun all-inclusive day, and also walking distance to the BEST taco stand. 10/10 highly recommend this property for your next trip!

location,location,location !!!! ON THE BEACH,WATERFRONT, visited in june 09 for diving and fishing celebrating my son's college graduation. no suprises here, everything was as advertised and more. all the comforts of home. i have been diving cozumel for 30 yrs and it is one of the best all around dive trips for value and convenience. we have six of us in our group three couples and had plenty of room. early into the trip we had a fishing charter and took back to the villa approx 40 lbs of mahi mahi and tuna. after diving daily we had great lunches of mahi tacos. in the evenings we grilled mahi & tuna steaks on the 2nd floor terrace's gas grill and watched the fantastic sunsets from the west exposure. villa debra's owner deb is a gracious hostess and gave us good referrals for services. we are looking forward to returning and diving with my friend luis perez at caballito del caribe divers. he also owns the lobster cruise boat which is highly recommended good food and pirate show. both the dive and fish charter boats picked us up from the pier in front of the villa. you could wait in the den of the villa for the boats to dock., the villa's location is approx 5 to 10 minutes to the reef's, which cuts down travel time. it doesn't get any better than this. villa debra kitchen is large and fully equipped, its ac units are central and not wall mounted units. thank you deb for a great trip. jim

We love the Queen!

We stayed at the Queen of Cozumel for the second time and it was even better than the first. It was fully stocked with all of the essentials and lots of little touches that make it special, from hooks in the walk-in showers for swimsuits to pool toys and snorkeling gear. The location is right on the beach and has a pier for boats to pick up our divers. We will definitely go back in the future.

Great place!

This was our family’s dream vacation and the Costa del Sol Community and this rental made it all work! The home was neatly kept and nicely appointed. We had everything we needed to cook and were able to fit in eleven of us without a problem. The location was out of town, but the fishing/snorkeling boat came right to our dock. Getting around with rentals was easy. The island is a very welcoming place and our entire family felt right at home. Take advantage of having Jasianna get you groceries for your arrival. It made the first night an morning so simple. We were busy running around for the first two days so she wasn’t able to collect her money until Wednesday but she was just fine with it. The front gate security was outstanding and very helpful. They hauled all our luggage both ways when we arrived and departed. They received a delivery supper order and brought it right to us. The housekeeping was great. There was some storm damage when we arrived and one of the maintenance crew was right there the next day. I can’t say enough great things about this place!

Outstanding Covid-Safe Scuba Getaway

The home was perfect for our family & friends to get away! The 4 en-suite bedrooms were immaculate, the kitchen ideal for our hired-chef for the week / Everything was perfect and Jasianna - the property owner and very attentive experience manager - was such a help throughout our stay. She helped us to hire a chef, Fernando, for daily lunch & dinner (incredible meals!) so that we could dive each morning and come home to a healthy lunch and then a late dinner. We highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Never staying anywhere else!

The view is amazing, the snorkeling right outside your door is amazing! We were traveling with our whole family, including children, 11 people all together. They loved the giant sandbox next to the pool, the pool itself is right next to the house, we were able to keep an eye on all the kids from the house, or out on our private terrace on the top floor. The rooms were beautiful, you have your own bathroom for each room. We saw an iguana outside our door the first morning, while snorkeling we saw lobster, sting rays, lots of beautiful fish! Deb was there whenever we needed her or had questions! She even arranged to have my rented baby items at the house upon our arrival, she met us at airport and we followed her to the house! Its just a short drive to town, but you are surrounded by the jungle! We also had a cook while we stayed who did breakfast and dinner, every meal was wonderful and included dessert! It was my daughters first birthday and they also made here a cake! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend requesting Alex, he was a wonderful guy, he even let my little brother help him one night, as he wants to be a chef himself! Alex had lots of good information and even took my husband out on a scuba dive! The house also has a dock where the boats can pick you up for various activities! The place is even more gorgeous in person, the pictures do not do it justice! We had a wonderful time and would never dream of staying anywhere else! We will be staying here in the future!

Best vacation accommodations ever!

Family vacation w/3 couples, 1 single adult, 2 6YO boys. The home was beautiful, roomy and equipped with everything we needed and more. Not only did we enjoy good snorkeling right off the dock, but the pool was just steps away from the house. Scuba and fishing boats picked us up right at the dock. Deb lives on the island and made herself available to help in any way. She stayed in touch with us from the time we booked our vacation helping us prepare for everything from rental cars to excursions. She gave us tips and even printed out coupons X 9 for many of the island attractions & restaurants. When we were at the airport, my grandson realized he left his favorite bear at the house. My daughter emailed Deb and she responded right away letting them know she would send the bear. This is my idea of great customer service!

A Great Place to Share with Friends. Just Beautiful.

We just got back from a week at staying Villa Debra and we already want to go back. All of Deb's work and attention to detail, really makes a great experience, even better. The house is spacious and beautiful. Plenty of room for the eight of us that took this trip, with lots of room to spare. Easily is the nicest house in Costa del Sol. A beach and a dock all in your own front yard, and of course a fantastic, unobstructed view of the straight. We saw spectacular sunsets, almost every day. It's hard to write a review and not say what everyone else had said. Read them all, they are not lying. It really is a great place to stay. All of us absolutely loved our stay and cannot stop talking about it.

Very nice

This place was very nice, clean and well maintained. This is the best place I ever stayed in Cozumel. Dive boat picked us up right at the dock in front of the house. Pool and beach areas were very nice. Owners helped us plan activities and they were available when we had questions. We just couldn't believe how great this place was. Beautiful Villa and Vacation!

Deb and Matt and their beautiful Villa Deb is absolutely the best vacation rental option for anyone! The Villa is so beautiful and clean and the pictures posted, yet beautiful, don't give it justice! The grounds and pool area are spectacular and the unique thing about Villa Deb is that it still offers its own privacy if needed because it is located closest to the ocean and is separated from the other villas there because of the way it is set up! The downstairs patio is perfect for a morning cup of coffee while watching the boats pass by and the upstairs rooftop terrace is perfect for afternoon sunsets! Matt and Deb are always available and are so helpful and nice! The house is stocked with anything and everything you need and we have never had any problems with anything during our stays there! I cant wait to book our next stay again for next year! Thank you Villa Deb!

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!

WOW, WOW, WOW where to begin. Deb and Matt the owners are top notch managers. Deb was exceptional with answering emails, phone calls before, during and after trip. Their house is magnificant, exactly as seen in pictures. The proximty to beach and dock are wonderful. Deb helped us book excursions which was so very helpful, and the boats were able to pick us up right in front of house. We had 9 people in house and were more than comfortable. It was so very great to have washer and dryer and dishwasher and they were in English, so that made it easier to read. Her kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans and dishes you would need. She provided ice chest, play toys for small children, and beach towels. The property compound was beautiful and so well maintained. We felt so safe all week. The infinity swimming pool was gorgeous and we spent as many hours in it and the jacuzzi-(was a little hot at times) as we did in ocean. We did enjoy the nice cool house at night for sleeping. Bedrooms were all very spacious and bathrooms were beautiful. We ate at several great resturants, I would not recommend Gusto's which is very close to area, without a reservation. He was not prepared to cook for 14 people and so our experience was not good, food was okay. If your on island you must take a drive to South end and see beautiful beaches, take a break at Coconuts its a great place high on cliff. We had a blast with Tiger's Adventures, we went on snorkel and diving trip. Fun was had at Mr. Sancho's and Paradise beach on all the beach toys and parasailing. We are all planning out next time we can sneak away to Cozumel, the best little island in Mexico. Thanks again Matt and Deb for offering such a wonderful place to stay in Cozume!!!!!

Divers Dream Vacation

Our dive trip was the trip of a life time. Villa Debra was everything offered and more. Our dive outfitter, Advanced Divers, picked us up every morning just out side our door on our own dock. The weather was perfect. Villa Debra was clean and functional. We were there over Easter, our grand children were invited by residents in the complex to join them in their Easter Egg Hunt. This complex is gated with security that offer to help with everything from luggage to groceries. We will be back for sure. Thanks Deb

Can't say enough about the VILLA DEBRA, Just feet from the water, The Pictures don't say enough about this Beautiful, spacious vacation home, that is well supplied with all utensils that you need from the kitchen to childrens toys, Eat in or dine out it was great, Deb was a GREAT HOSTESS, helping us plan our snorkeling, fishing and diving excursions and did't stear us wrong, we all had a BLAST on all the activities, this crew of 8 HIGHLY RECOMMED the Villa for a stay while on the Island of Cozumel, Deb will NOT stear you wrong THANK YOU VERY MUCH DEB, THE NEBRASKA CREW

A True Gem

This was our fourth trip to Cozumel. Each year our family spends Thanksgiving on the island. For the past two years we have stayed at the El Presidente, which we found to be a 5 star hotel. This year we decided to try a new experience and rented Villa Debra for our family of 8 adults. The accommodations and the experience was great; one our family would absolutely repeat. The villa is just as it is described. Our family of 8 adults found the four bedroom and bath accommodations to be perfect for both privacy and communal living. The villa has large outdoor and indoor living spaces which work well for groups. We were very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was, which is convenient and a money saver. The second story deck is lovely. You can watch the morning sunrise, the rays feed and the cruise ships silently slip by or relax after a busy day and watch the stunning sunsets. Not to mention, it is a great place for the early risers to gather as the night owls catch a little more shuteye. Snorkeling is a highlight for us. As advertised, snorkeling is only steps from your front door. Every morning someone went in for a quick dip and to feed the fish. However, you will find other places to snorkel on the island which has better coral. Deb suggested the Money Bar, which was the best shore snorkeling I have experienced on the island. The villa is located well outside of town but conveniently located to Chankanaab and other beaches. We rented a minivan as cab fare into town is about $30. It is a peaceful location which has 24 hour security who will help you call for a cab if you don't rent a car. Finally, we want to thank Deb for her hospitality and good communication Our flight was delayed 24 hours which left our son and his fiancé on the island waiting for our arrival. I sent an email to Deb who graciously offered to take them to the villa and get them settled in. I found Deb to be a responsive, welcoming hostess, which added to the pleasure of the trip. Bottom line, we had a great time and found Villa Debra to be delightful.

As advertised, and better...

I can't say enough about the property and the owner, Deb. The house is as advertised and the pictures don't do it justice. We had 6 adults, 1 teen and 5 younger ones and the house was plenty big. Ideal location for the pool, beach and pier. Each bedroom had great furnishings and individual (exquisite) bathrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked and was able to accommodate our entire family in a single seating. As for the other common areas, the upper level deck obviously provided wonderful views in the evening. And overlooked is a nice little seating area outside the first level "front" bedroom. Everything in the house is clean and well maintained, and it is apparent Deb cut no corners in furnishing the house. The community is nice, but maybe not as exceptional as the house itself. It seemed we had the community to ourselves, so it was quiet throughout the week. The convenience of the pier was great, whether for picking us up for a fishing trip or just going snorkeling every day. The pool was pretty good - nice that it had a kid-friendly area, but the surrounding stone can get quite slippery and there are some odd / dangerous edges that you have to be weary of with kids. The hot tub was neither the cleanest nor hottest, but that is obviously not the biggest deal when in Mexico. The beach wasn't "powdery" as it is somewhat rocky - it's not really the kind of sand that our kids could use to build sand castles, but still nice. Location is great if you don't want to be right downtown like us. It is a reasonable 15 minute drive to downtown & anything you could want, including the grocery store. Some beach clubs are about a mile south of the house, Chankanaab is maybe 5 minutes north, and getting to the East side of the island is simple (although be careful trying to do so at night - we nearly ran through a police "checkpoint" closing the road for the night a few miles south of the house). And Deb has to be the most accommodating owner / property manager. Because of a scheduling error on our part, my family arrived a day early & had to stay one evening at a resort. Deb still arranged to meet us at the airport and get us on our way, while also meeting us at the house the next day. She also helped coordinate car rentals while we were there and helped worked around some problems (created by us) in picking the cars up. She communicated with us throughout via phone / email. I would definitely recommend the house to anyone and would certainly stay there again.

Villa Debra is Amazing

We traveled to Cozumel for a week in early December. Staying at Villa Debra was an amazing experience and made for a perfect vacation. The property is in a private, gated community and short drive away from town. The house is spacious, well-equipped with all the amenities, and has the most perfect location. The highlight for us was the huge terrace with the most incredible views! Last but not the least, Deb is a great host. She met us at the airport, showed us around the house and was always just a phone call away for any help we needed. She arranged a snorkeling expedition for us and also had our rental gear waiting for us when we arrived! We would love to go back to Villa Debra
