"Great quiet location in a vineyard. Wine tasting was a private experience that included their own fortified wine and olive oil. Views are outstanding. Staff are super accomodating. Access to walking the vineyard as wellas a pool. Fresh oranges and lemons. Breakfast was fresh and showcased local options. Highly recommend. Only 5 min from Aramar and 20 minutes from Regua and Pinhao. Did not want to leave and highly recommend."

"Oh my goodness. I don’t even know where to start. I had never been to Portugal and didn’t mean to fall in love with it. But I have fallen in love with Portugal and this property and the amazing people in it are the reason why. Most beautiful and most relaxing, welcoming place. I hope everyone reading this review goes and finds out for themselves. Most beautiful hosts, most breathtaking location, most amazing rooms, wine and meals! "The hotel facilities seem quite nice, just lack of service staff. However the room we were assigned on the 1st floor does not have Wifi. The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. We made the reservation on Orbitz and prepaid the total amount on June 9th (~a month prior). When we check out, the reception lady asks us to pay again. We showed her Orbitz confirmation email and our credit card statement showing the charge but she insists that room was not paid. She doesn’t speak or understand any English and didn’t understand email in English either. Unfortunately no any other staff was around to help. We wasted at least half an hour and were behind our schedule. We travel 4 months each year and this is the first time that we encountered such a nightmare. Either Orbitz messed up or the hotel’s system did. Anyway, I hope this will never happen again! "
