This hotel was an absolute bargain. The rooms were new, neat, clean, surprisingly well apportioned. The sofa bed was very comfortable. There was a FREE SHUTTLE BUS (number 50) that takes you to and from the Disneyland parks, only three minutes away. Crazily, nowhere in my research did I read about this shuttle bus. It really does make this an ideal hotel to stay at. Gym, sauna and laundry are all excellent facilities.
The hotel is a nice place to stay away from the madding crowd for a weekend or for long vacation. Very close to Disney land and has free shuttle bus is a great advantage. Ala Carte menu was not very successful. Overall the experience was great. I would recommend to anyone who travels to Disneyland. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great.*****
Lovely hotel and reception hall makes a good impression. Friendly helpful staff, evening meal was really good quality and very reasonably priced. Room was clean and nicely set out. Free shuttle to Disney right outside the hotel door and train station to Paris not 5 minutes away. Shopping centre opposite also, great variety of shops and also a supermarket which came in handy. Great choice of cafes and restaurants surrounding hotel.
I've read many of the reviews about thus hotel and they tend to sway to the extremes. My family regularly goes to Disneyland Paris and have stated at all the best hotels. Some are ridiculously priced and that directly impacts the rating. The Circus is older, rough around the edges, but great for the family. The food is fair, but it is plentiful and included in the cost of the room, which makes it a bargain for a hotel so close to Disney. If you intend to depend the entire day at Disney, and only need a pleasant place to lay your head, with the kids excited about a semi-private section of the room for their curtained bunk beds, this is ideal. In short, the Disney park hotels are extremely over priced for what you get, the Blu and the Marriott are great even though still a bit pricy, and the Circus is wanting in some respects, but is close by and reasonably priced.
Couldn't of asked for anything better. The room was clean, spacious and the slippers and dressing gown was nice after a long day. The free shuttle to and from Disney was fantastic as it was one less thing to think about. The front desk and concierge staff were very helpful. The restaurant staff a little frosty. We are already planning the same again for next year.
Booked 4 nights here while we visited Disney and Paris. Ideal and very reasonable compared to the disney hotels. The hotel has a shuttle bus (takes 10 minutes) to the disney parks and station which cost 2 euros each per day.
Had read some of the reviews and was a bit worried! A lot of reviews say about the corridors being marked etc - this didn't bother us and the room certainly was in a good clean condition.
Also very pleased the air con was fixed too!
We chose this as it was an apartment so we could be self catering.
Room is spacious with lots of storage. One thing to note is they don't service it (unless you pay extra!)
The only disappointing thing was the dishwasher was broken, each day we asked for it to be looked at and no one did, which was a pain as we had to wash up by hand!!
The hotel charges 10 euros a night to park, but the receptionist told us we could save that and park on the adjacent roads which was very nice and saved us money!
Our last night in France was probably our best! We spent the previous week in a hotel in Paris near the Gare De Nord, it was nice but it didn't come close to the Paxton resort. I really wished I could've rebooked that first week at the Paxton we probably would've been much happier!
Check-in was fairly straight forward although we weren't on the initial list so the receptionist had to track down our reservation. She was helpful and provided us with a room on the ground floor that had sliding doors so my husband could go outside to smoke. The room was spotless and the kitchenette was well equipped and very handy. The bath-tub didn't have a plug but a plastic bag works just fine. Bed was comfortable, pillows good, however, there was only a light spread for a blanket. Internet was okay once you figured out how to access it (need to get log in information and codes from reception). There is a bakery and pizza restaurant next door and a large mall within driving distance. We drove to Disneyland and parked there but I believe the hotel offers a shuttle and there is a bus-stop just outisde the hotel for commuting to/from the Park. Overall, we thought it was good value and would probably stay here again if we were visiting Disneyland.
