Very nice, clean & comfortable hotel

Posted 11-Sep-2017
Pros: Good location, very clean and comfortable and very nice staff.
Cons: Wedding guests should not be allowed outside after midnight !!!!
A two day stay at the end of a week touring southern Ireland. A lovely hotel with very good facilities, pool and sauna/steam room. I can recommend the massages, excellent masseuse and a good price. Only downside was a wedding on the Saturday night with guests that insisted on shouting at the top of their voices outside our room and a young girl crying after a row with someone.....not much sleep!!!!

Inconsistent

Posted 09-Sep-2017
Arrived at the hotel to find there was no room available for us even though we had confirmation of room. The hotel explained there has been a takeover in new management and 200 secure rooms had been lots. We had not been informerd of this. The hotel was going to put us up in their words "A much more better and newly refurbished hotel than this" The receptionist rang the hotel and it turns out they didn't have a room and so we could stay at the clarion hotel. We were given a room that we had to take and was not what we had booked. The room was unfinished and grubby looking. Nothing like the pictures on the website. I later on explained my frustration to a new lady on reception called Tammy. She gave us a free upgrade to the penthouse suite which was an amazing room compared to the room we had been given. Tammy was extremely helpful and made the stay much more comfortable and worthwhile.

Great hotel for a family break.

Posted 04-Sep-2017
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, leisure center. Ample parking and on a bus route to Dublin City Centre.
Cons: I think extra charges for car park should be removed
Location: On bus route to all amenities in Dublin. Also Liffey Valley Shoping Center within walking distance.
Recently stayed at Clarion Liffey Valley with my three daughters and my 2 grandchildren. My daughters went to visit Art Galleries in Dublin while I took my grandchildren to the Zoo. The hotel was great, very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed a meal at Gusto Restaurant and our waitress Amanda was outstanding.

Nice hotel useful for the city and the airport

Posted 19-Aug-2017
Pros: We had two suites they are just separate from the hotel. Great for a family. Loads of room for the children to move about in. Outdoor and indoor play.
Cons: Was very happy with the room clean and comfortable if i gad a complaint it was that tgere could have been more staff in the restaurant.
Location: Close to the main roads into the city. We were visiting the zoo and the hotel was 10 minutes drive away.
A short visit to the city with the family and grandchildren. Lots for the children in the hotel and use of the swimming pool , kids club and informal restaurant just perfect for a short break .
