Poor hotel room by the motor way traffic

Posted 26-May-2017
Pros: Nothing, unhelpful receptionists
Cons: It is up to the management.
Location: Isolated hotel by the motor way. Going to the city will take 10 minutes walk and 45 minutes on the bus.
If you come to visit Dublin for several days do not stay here. My experience: room was not ready at 3pm.It was a room for the disabled by the motor way.The room was very hot with no air conditioning. So, opened the window and then came the heavy motor way traffic noise through the night and we could not sleep well at all for 4 nights. We asked for a fan, it was promised. But, never got delivered. The receptionist told me in 'Ireland we do not need air conditioning'.Other problems; out dated dusty room furniture, one bath towel for 2 people to share and toilet not flushable until reported. I suggest the hotel management/receptionist stay in the room by the motor way for one night and experience the problems of their guest.

Room keys

Posted 25-May-2017
First room I received was not ready....trash everywhere bed not made. So I went back to the reception desk and the apologize and assigned me another room. Later my key was deactivated so the fixed it. Next day the same thing happened. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. I just kept having bad luck.

NICE but don't ask for Gluten Free

Posted 19-May-2017
Cons: Gluten free really needs to be sorted out. Ireland generally is exceptional in the way it provides for Coeliacs -but in this case it was sadly lacking
Location: big shopping mall close by. restaurant on site- but better one across the road.
Nice hotel but a little more attention to house keeping-discarded glass left by fire door which was propped open. glass was there when we arrived - still there when we left. Stains on bathroom floor. Room was very warm. Pre advised hotel of need for Gluten free diet- as medical condition dictates-a batch of stale bread was available-no separate toaster available but staff said if we had asked they would take it to the kitchen and do it for us-would we know if it was toasted in a gluten free toaster ? no gluten free cereals available. No general advise on any gluten free items available other than a sign by bread -saying gluten free. disappointing re Gluten free arrangements.

Good hotel just outside of Dublin

Posted 14-May-2017
The location was great, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that out of over two dozen doors, all but ONE are fire exits, requiring everyone to enter and exit through a single, often crowded front door

Excellent Hotel in an ideal location

Posted 11-May-2017
Our stay was excellent from check-in to check -out. It was a last minute devision to stay in Dublin after a long and difficult day. To get upgraded then to a suite was the icing on the cake. Having staxed there before the suite was sheer luxury. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back to do some shopping in the liffey Valley Shopping centre
