Perfect spot - easy to walk around
The staff were friendly and we were able to check in at 11.30am and leave our luggage the next day before we departed which is a huge plus. The studio apartment was simple but exactly what we needed. The location was a perfect walking distance between Grafton Street and the Aviva Stadium - making it ideal for us heading to watch the rugby! Would recommend for location, price and comfort!

Enjoyable stay at city centre accommodation

Good stay
We had a good stay and the staff were so helpful. The only problem we had was not having a key for room 51 the adjoining room which wouldn't have been a problem if our friends hadn't been very ill. I would highly recommend this accommodation

The apartment was perfect, had everything you could think of to hand. Beautifully clean and maintained. Beds were comfortable, room bright and warm...just what we needed after a day of exploring Dublin

It was a very good location, the staff were mostly good and helpful. There was adequate equipment including a nice coffee maker. Only three dining chairs in a three bed appartment, rectified when we asked.. The big disappointment was a tired and mouldy shower room. The sloping floors took a bit of getting used to and it wasn't very spacious.

Lovely period property, well appointed, and within easy walking distance of the lively St Stephens Green area of the city. Most welcome that noise levels were very low during the night, despite the property being so close to busy restaurants, pubs and bars. Friendly and very helpful staff. Stairs to the upper floors can be a bit challenging, but only to those with walking difficulty. Overall very good value indeed Would not hesitate to recommend this property, and hope to return for a further visit.

I could not believe how nice this place was, given its low cost. It is an older building renovated for use as a hotel-type accommodation. Biggest negative is that there is no elevator, and so those with mobility concerns should request a ground-floor room. A fan in the room would also be nice, as it was a bit warm in early August. The positives are that it is a really beautiful property in a great location in the Dublin city centre for a far lower cost than anywhere else. I will say that the Expedia advert said it would have a kitchenette, which to me implies some type of stove. It did not have that, but did have a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen sink. Overall, our stay there in Room 1 on the ground level was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone. I arrived after-hours when the check-in desk was closed, but received detailed instructions on retrieving my key and accessing the room. It all went very smoothly.

Pretty good, with a caveat.
The apartment was nice enough. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is good also. However, our apartment was close to the rear of the neighboring restaurant, which had a sing along Friday and Saturday night until about 11:30 p.m. You might not have that experience with some of the other apartments, but it was pretty difficult to get to sleep until the sing along stopped. (The singer also has a limited repertoire, having heard him two nights in a row.)

This was a last-minute reservation for my children who were staying in a cottage near Newry for a few days. The airline decided that since we used a "third party" to make the flight reservation that it was ok to change their flight itinerary without even informing any of us, at a time that would have rendered their arrival impossible. So, they had to stay an additonal day and luckily we were able to get a nice accomodation for them near the city center. They said it was a "great hotel". Thank you!

Convenient and wonderful staff!
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for our arrival day in Dublin. Our flight got in early in that morning so we arrived at Latchfords around 9:00 am. We didn’t have a rental car while we were in the city and I didn’t expect to be able to check in that early but they were gracious enough to hold our bags for us while we went out and explored the city. When we returned to Latchfords later that afternoon, the gal at the front desk (I regretfully forget her name) had lugged all of our bags up to our 4th floor apartment. The next morning she was also kind enough to let us leave our luggage there while we did some more stuff around town. The apartment was plenty spacious enough for the four of us and it was conveniently located within walking distance of lots of sites like Trinity College and Temple Bar area.

Very Comfortable Stay in Dublin
Location was great--easy to find in a quiet part of Dublin. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the amenities were generous, and we slept soundly. We had wonderful check-in and check-out experiences: Both receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful!
