I could not believe how nice this place was, given its low cost. It is an older building renovated for use as a hotel-type accommodation. Biggest negative is that there is no elevator, and so those with mobility concerns should request a ground-floor room. A fan in the room would also be nice, as it was a bit warm in early August. The positives are that it is a really beautiful property in a great location in the Dublin city centre for a far lower cost than anywhere else. I will say that the Expedia advert said it would have a kitchenette, which to me implies some type of stove. It did not have that, but did have a refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen sink.
Overall, our stay there in Room 1 on the ground level was excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone.
I arrived after-hours when the check-in desk was closed, but received detailed instructions on retrieving my key and accessing the room. It all went very smoothly.
