If I could give more stars for service and friendliness of staff, I would. This is an excellent location for tourists to Dublin as well. Very walkable to the major attractions such as the Book of Kells, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and St. Stephen’s Park. There is a tram station just outside as well, so it’s easy access to the public transportation options to get you to the other sites. The building is a lovely historic landmark, with updates and modern convenience. The showers were a delight: great water pressure and plenty hot. The room was a good size, comfortable beds, very clean. It is not a quiet location - but let’s be realistic this is a bustling and vibrant city with a pretty cool nightlife scene. The included breakfast was very tasty, and plenty of variety for a week’s stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here, I felt like royalty.

Rooms comfortable but inadequate heating.Some receptionists difficult to understand. No food apart from crisps available in the bar when returning later in the evening ? after a show. Good location.

Charming and great location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great and the building is charming. My one complaint is that a private party was allowed to play loud rock music in the dining room that could be heard in our 3rd floor room until 12:30 AM. Because there is no one at the front desk after 11:00 PM there was no one to address our complaint.

Very old facility
Positive: location, staff friendliness, included breakfast (fairly good selection, fresh items, nice breakfast room). Negative: very old (the room and furniture send you back 50 years), bathroom is very small (though renovated and modern), the room has old physical keys that you leave at the front desk when you leave (I do t think I had seen these in at least 35-40 years!!!), nosy (I stayed on the 3rd floor - you can hear the music from the lively pub Mooney’s across the street, and the train trains are also very loud). Bottom line - this is a traditional place that needs a lot updates to compete with similarly priced hotels in Dublin.

This property has wonderful staff that were very accommodating. The hotel is kept in the decor of its time and is very quaint. The location is excellent for walk-ability to other sites around the city. The breakfast was fabulous and we loved the service and the breakfast room was beautiful. The room was very small but we managed okay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Wynn's Hotel. The staff was super amazing and very accommodating to my stay and gave wonderful advice when asking what to do around town. The hotel gave me such a nostalgic, classic feeling and was very clean. The Irish breakfast was delicious. The hotel is in a great location to get around by foot if you enjoy the walk, and if not, there are several options to commute by train or bus. When coming and going to the airport, you have a stop right near hotel so that was very convenient. The only negative that I will say about my stay, and definitely not the hotel's fault, was the noise of crowds and train which resides in front of the hotel. I am a light sleeper so, if you are a heavy sleeper, then you won't even notice. Overall though, I enjoyed Wynn's Hotel and will definitely stay again during my future visit to Dublin.

Wynns is a lovely historical hotel in Dublin’s City Center. Our bedroom was generous in size and felt secure due to security in lobby. The breakfast buffet was freshly prepared, delicious and a delight to the eyes. We hope to visit Dublin again so Wynns will be at the top of our lodging list.

Fabulous
The location was very good. The hotel is historic and is very well kept with great staff and a good restaurant/bar that we used during our stay. It came with breakfast which had plenty of good options and was extremely efficient and well managed. We really liked the hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin, if they want a wonderful place to stay.

Could not pull up to hotel to drop off cases, had to swap rooms , no curtin to givevus privacy. Only a 3 star hotel i would rate it ,plastic glasses and cups in the room , bed was just a double bit small for a couple. Shower great pressure Enjoyed the breakfast . Not hotel's fault but can here the trams , seguls and the beeping of the cross walk

HiThank you for taking the time to review Wynn's Hotel. Our breakfast is award winning and we are delighted you enjoyed same. Just on some of the points you made, we do have a loading bay opposite the Hotel to off-load luggage.Each room in the Hotel has black out blinds for privacy and to enable a good night sleep, some rooms with curtains some with voiles to allow natural light. You are correct in rating the Hotel as a 3 star as that is exactly what we are.We are directly in the City Centre with a great location for access too many of our main tourist spots but like any large City with a good location there will be noise even with triple glazing. Once again that you for your comments and we will take all on board.

Do not book here if you want a peaceful stay
Hotels.com should not be selling this hotel without advising customers i5 is under very noisy construction on the roof. 9 hrs of ea day we had to endure pounding, sawing, hammering. I paid far too much to have that. I spoke to the Mgr who offered nothing. Also wi-fi only works in certain rooms. All of this I feel is false advertising.

Our stay at the hotel was good. Close to everything we needed. Staff was excellent. Room was cleaned daily. We had to give our room number and wait for breakfast in another room before we got into the restaurant but delay did not last longer than 15 minutes. The street noise at night for rooms overlooking the main street is loud and constant with music, trams, walk signals and loud talking and as the hotel does not have A/C we had to keep our window open. Other than not having a full nights sleep it was a good stay. We would stay there again but ask for a room at the back of the hotel and away from the main street.

Wynn's is a lovely traditional property. The breakfast was gorgeous - the chef even makes her own croissants which are superb. Her soda bread was excellent too. A great choice of cooked items made individually for guests too. (The only downside is the alley right next door where people were openly dealing drugs and there were also people taking drugs sitting on the steps of the O'Connell statue. The city council and police need to take action on this or it will deter visitors.)

The hotel had a charming warm ambience. Located centrally and within easy walking distance of the sights. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Roberta at the front desk could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We would have loved to stay there on our way back through Dublin but there was no availability.

Beautiful public areas, nice room. The bed seemed old with a slumped mattress. The staff was very helpful, although the tip to use AirCoach for transportation was unfortunate, as that service was completely unreliable.

Wynn's has been there forever. Well kept hotel with a great dining room and bar. Loved having an elevator because we always overpack. Our only concern was the mattresses in two different rooms needed serious replacement. And the coverlet barely covered the mattress and with two people we fought over blankets all night long. The breakfast staff were friendly and were right on top of things.

A few extra days in Dublin.
We stayed here for an extra 2 nights in Dublin. It was an excellent choice of hotel. This hotel has the old time charm and the staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you may need. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent to our taste and the service is outstanding.
