Denna stuga i Wéris är verkligen en vibe! Trädgården är en hel estetik för de avslappnade grillkvällarna under stjärnorna, Super mysigt inuti, perfekt för en lågmäld getaway med vänner, Bara en snabb resa till Durbuy för mer äventyr, Ingen lögn, skulle definitivt komma tillbaka!

De eigenaar ontving ons gastvrij en was ook tijdens ons verblijf steeds vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De vakantiewoning is gezellig, de keuken goed voorzien en het sanitair is verzorgd. Bij de voorzieningen wordt een stapelbed genoemd. Dit is onjuist. In elk van de slaapkamers staat een tweepersoonsbed. (zie foto’s). Wel is er een kinderledikantje. De grote tuin is omheind met een haag. Tussen de vakantiewoning en de woning van de eigenaar is een grote schuur. Samen geeft dit veel privacy. Al direct vanuit huis kun je heerlijk wandelen. Ook iets verder weg zijn mooie (gemarkeerde) wandelingen uitgezet. In Barvaux (7 km) is een goede supermarkt. Ook aardige restaurants. Durbuy is erg toeristisch, maar leuk om een stadwandeling te maken. Verder zijn er genoeg mogelijkheden in de omgeving om uitstapjes te maken.

De ontvangst door de huiseigenaar was zeer hartelijk. Aangenaam verrast door de ongedwongen manier om zowel Nederlands als Frans ons te verwelkomen. Het huisje paste uitstekende bij de historische omgeving, met de nodige comfort. Een mooie, verzorgde tuin met het nodige om hiervan te genieten. Een mooie omgeving, natuur met mooie wandelmogelijkheden en een aangename dorpskern. Een aanrader.

De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk. Hij sprak goed Nederlands ook al is hij Franstalig. Het was een mooi proper huis en het heeft zijn charme. Alles was aanwezig. We hebben ervan genoten. Mooie streek met veel wandelmogelijkheden.

Wij genoten van een midweek Ardennen in deze goed voorziene en propere woning in Wéris. We werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald in het Nederlands door Mr. Vandevenne en vonden in het authentieke huis alles wat we nodig hadden voor een verblijf met 4 personen (2 volwassenen en 2 kleuters). Vanuit de woning zijn er verschillende wandelmogelijkheden (o.a. naar de Dolmen van Wéris) die we aan de hand van een kaart die beschikbaar was in de woning, konden aanpassen qua lengte aan onze kleine stappers. In Wéris zelf is een kruidenierswinkel waar je 's ochtends brood kan kopen. Durbuy is vlakbij en wij maakten ook een uitstap naar het domein van Han-Sur-Lesse (40 min rijden).

We hadden een geweldige week in Wéris. Het huis is zeer goed gelegen: in een rustige omgeving en een prima uitvalsbasis om te wandelen. Het huis is zeker niet modern, maar heeft veel charme en is goed uitgerust en onderhouden. Ook de grote tuin is een enorme troef. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijke en heeft ons warm onthaald.

We werden er gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaar, die ons rondleidde en de nodige uitleg gaf. Dit is best een gezellige en goed uitgeruste gite, kraaknet en comfortabel. De omgeving is zeer landelijk en rustig.
