Linens were bloody upon arrival. Kids were yelling up abd down our hall all night. Told front desk was told theyd handle linens. They werent changed. Bed was just made up. Was also told the manager would reach out about thr noise but ive heard nothing. Poor was less than 60 degrees Fahrenheit so way too cold to enjoy. Parking was expensive, breakfast lackluster and dinner slow. Front desk handed us our cookies at check in and said these are the best part of your stay. I giggled thinking surely thats a joke. It wasnt. Enjoy your cabinet warmed cookies. The ride deckines after that.

Plain hotel. Sparse items in room. No need for a tub in bathroom. Shower much more convenient. Restaurant on sight was proud of their price'

At check in, tbe cookies were a nice touch but water should be available and expecially it should be provided in the room as mandatory. The toilet was a bit old fashioned as the kids stuggled to flush it. On a whole the rooms and carpets in the hotel should be updated in accordance with the hilton brand. Also at breakfast there are no pork sausages...only vegan ones. Nice sauna and steam room, along with a pool. A bit too chilly for the kids though

Very poor coffee black £4.50 at bar. Parking charge £16 overnight. Not a problem as hotel was cheap but it should have been mentioned on hotel details. 1970s fan heater instead of a/c sounds like a jet engine in middle of night. More serious..deadlock bolt on room door missing screws and didn’t look secure. Overall, a once well known and popular hotel is now a bit depressing.

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly dining staff and a great service from the front desk. It was not made clear that the leisure facilities were separate from the hotel and were charged extra so we had to pay £10 to use the pool which I’ve never had to do at a hotel before. Apart from that everything was perfect!

Shower was broken. We turned it on and it made the most awful really loud noise. Tried all ways and it would not warm up. So nobody was able to have a shower, we also couldn't move rooms as our small children were already in bed asleep. We decided to ring for room service, but the phone was disconnected. Connected it back up to find THAT didn't work either. So I had to go all the way downstairs to order room service which defeats the object! Used pool in the morning but the hot tub was anything but. In fact, the jet streams were cold water so it was absolutely freezing and the pool was no better. My kids didn't last long then we had to get out because their lips were blue. So we paid a premium for a hotel with better services and facilities and were unable to use them. Very disappointing.

Final Night Stop
We stayed at the Double Tree at the end of a very long haul from Aotearoa/New Zealand that got us into EDI around midnight - going home was a step too far, the hotel was perfect for our final night away.
