This property is far away from city center. You have to request for your room to be serviced and even if you do submit your request it will not be cleaned or serviced. We submitted the room to be cleaned and service again to find out that they did not even replaced the almost gone toilet paper and did not take away dirty wine glasses. Expensive, not convenient and poor service.

Outside of the building looks pretty new however inside rooms are dated and require work. First room toilet wouldn’t work second room we went in it was just dated bathroom needs attention easy fixes are visible doesn’t look ascetically pleasing. Staff where nice pool area needs full re vamp as steam room seem to be not working sauna was old and damaged. Place just needs good clean and better touch up.

4 stars because we went for a night just to enjoy the spa as on the website it was written that it closes at 9pm,we arrived at 6:30 and they informed as that it’s closing at 7..so we did not use the spa at all as we left the next morning.

The car park needs urgent attention due to numerous potholes. I wasn't charged for parking this time, as I was ladt December. Rooms are adequate, but charges for food and drink are extortionate. We had 1 pizza and a portion of chips to share. We also had 2 glasses of Malbec each and the bill was over £77. I consider £13.50 for a glass of wine to be very very high. I can buy 2 bottles of decent wine for that price. Very disappointed and unhappy with the costs.

Property was a distance from most places, but did not find this too much of an issue and taxis were readily available and the hotel and staff were 5 star. Buses and trams easy to get to. Highly recommend

Great hotel for exploring Edinburgh
Stayed here for a few nights over the new year and it was perfect for what we needed. Really good location for being close to the airport but also a short walk to the local tram line for getting in and out of the city. The hotel itself was great, staff were all attentive and helpful. The pool and spa facilities were a great extra to have after a long day of walking. Rooms were clean and tidy, was nice to have a bath tub in the room. Overall a great experience!

Hotel facilities were great. Swimming pool was nice. Breakfast had a good variety of selection. Location is good to travel in to city centre which took us around 20 minutes to get in to.

We stayed over Xmas and found the hotel had relayed new carpets and improved the reception area the main reason for staying at the Marriott is location as our family stay nearby Will use the hotel again as it fits our needs

This is absolutely an Eco-friendly 4 star hotel. Me and my family stayed here for 3 nights, the first night we cannot find the right temperature at the shower, due to the tap problem, the front desk arranged a room change for us, which is very helpful. The shower works well in the new room, but the heater, tv, fridge, and all power sockets are not working, we report the problem in the next morning, but none of these were fixed. We cannot boiled hot water, charge our phones, watch tv, and heat up our room. Can't believe i am staying with a 4 star hotel.

Nice hotel
It is a nice hotel with bus stop to city centre right in front of hotel. We had free car parking. Food / breakfast / restaurant was good. Nothing nehative to say. Will stay again and recommend.

Delta hotel very disappointing
First time staying at the hotel since it was re-branded as Delta Hotels. Hotel feels more clinical and basic and lost its comfort and luxury feel. Bed mattress was on its final days, very lumpy and uncomfortable. The headboard on second bed was worn and looked like cat scratches. Window was very draughty and had big puddles lying on the sill, had to keep curtains closed for heat as our room was freezing. We was told last entry to the pool was 9pm was was not informed pool closed at 9.30pm - so only got half an hour. Jacuzzi was cold and steam room was out of order. Breakfast was a disaster. No table service at all, long queues for everything. All the hot buffet food was served in small trays, so the bowls were empty all the time and taking ages to get refilled. The jam, butter and nutella are no longer in individual jars or packets, they are served in big jars with a spoon and the jam looked full o break crusts Had to wait ages for coffee from a self serve machine that was not drinkable Disappointed for what we paid

Hotel was in a fantastic location for acces to Edinburgh city centre and Edinburgh Zoo. The bus stop is immediately outside with frequent buses. Right next to Edinburgh gateway train station for connecting from Waverley. Hotel was nicely presented, breakfast buffet was great and we made use of the bar for drinks and food. Room I would say was standard, nothing more fancy than a Premier Inn, the room was also very cold, no matter how much we turned up the heater. I slept in my jumper the second night.
