Room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning was loud but I just turned off and it was okay. The remote control for the tv basically didn’t work. The supposed free drink every day didn’t happen

The property was a nice place to stay , the breakfast was good , rooms were very clean and staff friendly and polite . It's a five min walk to the scottish museum , close to kirkland graveyard and near to the Royal mile . The only thing i would say is we thought the dinner prices were very expensive for a 4 star hotel but that might be a bit picky . The area around the hotel and north bridge could be cleaner but thats a problem in every city that needs to be addressed. Always wonder why we can't all be like the Japanese people who keep their country spotless

For the price I would expect at least a chilled bottle of water in the fridge. And for handing out toiletries at reception-ridiculous. Stop trying to be so woke!!

Not quite as sound-proofed, could hear doors slamming and talking but not too bad. Check-in took some time because Expedia payment had been processed on my end but not on the hotel's end, but staff was very nice about dealing with that issue.

Great facilities, room was very neat; clean sheets & towels. Tea, coffee & biscuits in the room. Hotel location was very accessible & the fact that it was a VERY short walk away from Festival Theatre weherewe were going to see Hamilton (our reason for visit) was a HUGE bonus too. Staff we interacted with were very professional & helpful. I can say for sure ill be staying here again whenever im in Edinburgh for overnight visots or a weekend break.

The hotel and room were nice and clean. However some of the lights in the room would not work, the body wash/ shampoo was of a very poor quality - they claim to try to reduce plastic waste, but doesn't matter how much I'd use, it would not foam enough, hard with long hair. Also room had moths, really hope I'm not taking any home with me.
