Oceanfront 1 Bedroom-Downstairs Apartment

Apartment (approximately 425 Sq Ft) - one bedroom, one bath (shower only) with full kitchen downstairs, under owner's home. Heat & air (window units). Linens & bath towels are provided. TV with ROKU & youtube TV in living area.
There is a screened porch (approximately 275 Sq Ft) attached to the apartment. Step outside the screen porch and you are just 40 steps from the beach.
Sleeps 2 adults only.

NO SMOKING, NO PETS!

Apartment rents from Saturday to Saturday.

You cannot see the ocean from within the apartment - but you are just a few steps to the beach from the apartment.

We do not provide beach chairs - there are places on Edisto where you can rent them.

Great location, a nice walk to the Coots restaurant. Perfect size rental for two.

Had a great time, the rental was very nice. Great view and just a walk out back to the beach. Made for a nice morning beach walk to Coots for breakfast or evening walk for a drink to watch the moon rise.

Perfect little apartment. Steps from the beach.

I enjoyed my stay at the little apartment! It was so nice to be just steps away from the beach. Steve and Betty Llew are wonderful hosts and they did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again. Bed was very comfy.

Great Little Getaway

It was a cozy little place to stay with access to porch and deck to watch the ocean and be out of the sand and rain when necessary. Beds were very comfortable! Convenient to everything. Host was fabulous!

Behind the Dunes

Great spot just behind the dunes from which we could hear the rolling surf. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and stores. Steve and Betty Lou are great hosts.

Beachfront Bliss!

This cozy apartment is very well equipped and just steps from the beach. The owners are very helpful and informative and graciously shared their upstairs deck where we watched many gorgeous sunrises. We enjoyed the charm of the old-fashioned beach cottage. Our stay couldn’t have been better!

Great beach apartment

This is the second time I've stayed at the Sanders apartment. It is perfect for a couple's getaway. Steps from the beach, kitchen has everything you need and the bed was super comfy. It also has DirecTv, which we appreciated for game day. Unfortunately, hurricane Ian came close so we had to leave 2 days early. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy, Clean and well laid out

This rental was everything you would want or need to have a relaxing and pleasant week for a vacation at the beach. The Sander's are wonderful hosts and helped us have a week we will remember fondly. We texted a few times and received fast response. We want to thank the Sander's for all they did for us durning our stay. Denise and I would tell anyone who considered renting the unit not to hesitate to do so. 5 stars across the board!!!!

A solo get-away to Edisto

Was fortunate to book a rather last minute rental. Clean and cozy and just right for one or two people. All amenities for a self contained stay. Can't see ocean from inside the apartment but it is literally steps away from the beach.

Nice little place

Unit was as described. Super easy and close beach access. Owners did offer use of their deck and a couple of chairs for us to use at the beach. The unit has all the essentials one would need. The bathroom was as described though we did find it a little small. Otherwise, plenty of room and very clean. Enjoyed our time.

Return to Edisto

Have stayed at this property before. Small but perfect for a couple. Everything works so no headaches. Loved the fact that we could use the deck overlooking the beach, so nice. Steve & Betty Llew are great hosts. Edisto is small & laid back but has everything you need for a relaxing stay. When we make it back to Edisto, this will be the first property we look at.

First Visit To Edisto

This property is perfect for a couple’s getaway. You cannot see the ocean from inside, but you can hear it. Just a few steps outside and you are on the beautiful dunes. Word of advice: if you are a very tall or larger person, you should be aware of lower ceilings and small bathroom/shower, but fine for average size folks. We would recommend this property and we loved our first visit to Edisto.

Perect simply beach getaway

My husband and I needed a place on the beach for a getaway that was simple, clean, comfortable, and refreshing, and we found it here. Grace and Billy and her entire family were so kind and gracious to us. We had full access to the porch, and often got lost in the ocean, sunrises, tides and pelican views. We love the quiet feel of this place, and the convenience to everything the island has to offer. We didn't lack a thing - everything we needed was right there. We hope to stay here again next time we're come to Edisto Beach. Simply wonderful!

Beachfront but street view

Great location and host very helpful. Oceanfront is true but misleading as apartment is basically basement with several small windows (1 cracked). Can walk around back, just steps from beach. Apartment very small/outdated. Bathroom tiny but functional. Apt generally dark and not sure if bedbugs in bed or fleas in couch but itchy wheals after I think sitting on couch. Plus: location, location. Very convenient to get around. Obviously not crowded in April.

Best Sunrise Service

Grace and Billy, Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place right on the beach. The apartment was clean and well supplied with all the necessities (from bottled water to body soap). Access to your deck allowed me to have my coffee while watching the sunrise and listening to the surf. The screened porch was a nice cool place to read, relax or nap on a hot day. Your beach chairs were light to carry and comfortable when going to the beach (how nice not to have to cart my own from home). The best part was finally meeting you both and feeling so welcomed to share your little piece of Edisto. This is my second time to your little apartment but it will not be the last. The apartment location, size and price is perfect for one or two people. I look forward to returning again.
