This is a grand dame hotel. She's not young but she's proudly beautiful and well maintained. Really convenient stay between rosslare ferry and Dublin. Lovely staff

Late checking in, looking for a good nights sleep, kept awake through the night ,room noice from nearby rooms, didnt eat breakfast because the table i was asked to use was in a corner pushed up next to a family with kids in highchairs, next to no room to sit at it, they looked relieved when i declined the table ,i wasn't offered another even though the breakfast room had plenty of other empty tables, Checked out feeling more tierd and hungry than when i checked in,

Smelly Cushions.
The breakfast was amazing, friendly staff,great food and service. The gym was good lots of equipments. The pool was very small crowded and not tempting. The cushions and the pillows in the room the were very dirty and smelly I wish if they take care and pay more attention to wash them daily or after every costumers when they leave specially the ones that matching the curtains.

Good sized rooms Very clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast all freshly cooked. Breakfast staff very attentive Pool was very small and you have to purchase a swim cap at 3 euros to use the pool. (This is also applicable to children)

Did not enjoy my stay, staff were very rude to me and my family, walls are paper thin, very noisey, the hotel is tired and dirty and everywhere stinks of smoke, the leisure facilities are very old and dirty, worst of all 2 fire alarms went off in the night and the hotel did not communicate with us if we should evacuate the hotel due to a fire. We felt unsafe at this hotel.

Dear Colin, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent stay at the Riverside Park Hotel. I would like to address each of your concerns individually:1.No smoking is only mandatory in all public areas of the hotel; however, we do persistently try to insist that smoking is not allowed in the hotel bedrooms. Unfortunately, some guests do not follow this house rule. Your bedroom has a balcony and smoking is allowed on the balcony only. If your bedroom had a smell of smoke, I sincerely apologise, this is not the standard we strive to achieve. Previous occupants of the room must not have adhered to our non-smoking policy and our housekeeping team should have addressed this before your arrival. A room move was offered to you and your family but you declined this. 2.I understand that you were disturbed by the live music in Prom Bar on the first night of your stay. When offered the room move, you were also made aware that there would be live music again in the bar but informed Millie you were happy to stay in the room you were in. Should we have been made aware on your reservation or on arrival to the hotel regarding your daughter’s autism, we would have been able to move you to a quieter area of the hotel.3.I would like to extend by sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the fire alarm that went off during your stay. I fully understand how frustrating and disruptive it must have been but the safety and well being of our guests is our utmost priority. Fire alarm systems are in place to ensure the immediate response and evacuation in case of any potential threat. Our policy is that if the fire alarm is activated at any time, a staff member must go to the location indicated on the fire alarm panel to ensure that the area is safe. If there is in fact a fire, the bells are left to continuously ring and a full evacuation would then come into effect. This was not the case during your stay and the fire alarm was accidentally set off by guests on two separate occasions. I sincerely regret the alarm going off during your stay, but this is out of our control unfortunately. 4.I apologise that you were not contacted regarding the compensation discussions with myself, this should have been explained to you after declining the room move. 5.Each of our bedrooms features a bathroom equipped with a shower. 6.I regret to hear you were not satisfied with the breakfast offering; this is not the usual feedback we receive. The selection and quality are always well commented on by guests.Your feedback about the condition of the hotel and leisure facilities is disheartening and I regret they did not live up to your expectations. I regret to hear of your decision not to return to the hotel but your experiences does not reflect the true character of the Riverside Park Hotel. Lovely hotel
Lovely clean modern rooms with river view and small balcony available. Food was amazing, no complaints but the hotel lacked any facilities for kids as kids club wasn’t operating at the June bank holiday weekend. There was a playground beside the hotel which was good

I was really disappointed, booked this stay because of the pool for my children, only to be told on arrival that pool was out of order for the week. Very disappointed kids. Should have been warned on website before booking.

Difficult to get seating in the bar area for a family group while one individual took up a whole seating area. Staff did not help. Our room was not serviced, when we told reception all we got were towels and water. No personnel available to service room.
