With charming, modern farmhouses , Outlot 201 Guest Houses offer relaxing hill country views just on the outskirts of town. Nestled in a grove of trees, the guest houses are the perfect place to retreat in a refined, yet relaxed, setting.

Couples love the quiet privacy each house provides, making it the perfect romantic get-away for two. Or, invite your favorite couples for a long weekend— the houses allow the perfect balance to reconnect with friends or family, while also having your own space. Each house has its own indoor and outdoor space all to itself.

The Outlot also makes a perfect retreat for girls trips—offering gorgeous sunset views after a day of shopping and wine tasting.

Smith House at Outlot 201 (unit 3) features two bedrooms, each with a comfy, king size pencil post bed with luxury linens and plenty of cozy pillows. The bedrooms are also equipped with DOHM White Noise Machines, for those who are serious about their sleep! The bathroom is spacious and brightly lit, with a double vanity and large walk-in shower which includes a relaxing rain shower overhead. The bath includes a toilet closet for additional privacy.

Flooded with natural light, you’ll find the separate living area a comfortable place to relax, with a flat screen television and free flowing Wi-Fi. The area also includes a small dining table and well-equipped (armoire) butler's pantry, with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, and electric tea kettle, as well as a coffee maker to brew locally roasted coffees from our friends at Caliche.

Upon arrival, your pantry will be stocked with house made banana nut bread as well as yummy granola, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juice and bottled water. You'll also find plenty of coffee and tea on hand.

Out the back door, you'll find a spacious outdoor living space overlooking the pasture, with our horse and sheep grazing in the distance. French doors lead to a charming alcove with a biergarten table that's just perfect for a charcuterie spread, late-night card games or a spirited round of mahjong! Just down the steps sits a clean-burning fire pit surrounded by cozy chairs -- the perfect spot after a long day of shopping or wine tasting!

Smith House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including Paya toiletries, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

If you're interested in booking more than one house and would like to expedite the booking process, please feel free to contact the owner directly so we can conveniently block the houses for you and arrange for one payment to save you time.

Small, non-shedding dogs (one per stay) will be considered. If approved, there will be a $150 pet fee. Please see complete pet policy in rental agreement. And lastly, Outlot 201 is a NON-SMOKING property and we very much appreciate your support of our commitment to a smoke-free environment for our guests.

A beautiful hidden gem!!

Everything was absolutely perfect!! Driving up to the property and crossing the foot bridge was great. The beautiful pumpkins on the front porch were so cute! This home is so clean and precious. The decor is so bright and cheery too. The beds are so comfortable and I loved the sound machine. Wonderful bathroom and cute little kitchen. We were truly amazed!!

Beautiful Spot in the Country Close to Shops/Restaurants

This property is a beautiful spot to relax while in Fredericksburg. It is clean, bright and cheerful, and the hosts were super kind, responsive and helpful. It was nice to stay in a country setting, but also be within 5 minutes of shopping and restaurants. We hope to stay here again in the future.

I have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals in the Fredericksburg area and this is definitely one of my favorites (if not my favorite)!! It is close enough to town, but out of the hustle and bustle. The place is super clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor area. I can't wait to return!!

Beautiful house!

We had a wonderful time at this house. The house is beautifully decorated! The outside area is a great place to hang out and the beds were super comfortable!! Darla and Mike were wonderful host that made sure we had everything need and more!! The homemade bread was amazing!!!
