Perfect property in the heart of the Latin Quarter. There is no elevator given the age of the building so be beware of that. The noise of the nightlife did not bother me but my wife did end up using the complimentary earplugs the hotel provides. For the location, it cannot be beat.

The location is ideal - just walk out the front door and you’re in the heart of the Latin quarter with quick access to restaurants and bars. Great vibe around that area. . The rooms are very small (as noted). Ok if you’re traveling with a small carry-on case or small backpack. Little or no space in the room to store your luggage. Nice continental breakfast. Bed was not that comfortable. A little pricey for what you get.

The staff was outstanding from check in to breakfast to check out. Place is micro but the most important is how central to everything it is… and clean! Would definitely stay again.

WONDERFUL
This location in Galway is perfect!! There is AC in the rooms and this was more than appreciated as there was a heat wave happening during our stay. Be prepared, as there is not an elevator, which is to be expected in a building of this age. The staff was exceptional and were more than accommodating. Christina is amazing. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms are tiny, but the beds were so comfortable. I loved staying here and would recommend to anyone who enjoys spending the majority of their time seeing the sights. The hotel has quite the history and I enjoyed learning about the establishment. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect European style hotel for us. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The hotel is in the heart of the Latin Quarter so there is noise outside but the dual windows and provided earplugs worked fine (I only used the ear plugs once)

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at 7 Cross Street. Christine and Marcielle went above and beyond during our time at the property. Everyone was extremely helpful and the property is in a great location. I would recommend this property to anyone who’s planning on staying in Galway!

I booked the property knowing the rooms were tiny and noisy & the stairs steep. i felt the location in the Latin Quarter and the history of the property made the inconveniences worthwhile. Added bonuses were the attentive care of the owner Hazel and her staff and the interesting conversations at breakfast with other guests.

Room space is minimum, but the location is a real heart of the city. After checking out, a wonderful MIRACLE occurred. A exceptional staff found my small items, then noticed me, finally sent it me! It’s a real KINDNESS!

We loved our 2 night stay here! The staff was excellent and so was the hospitality of the owner! The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and the location was excellent! There is a pub across the street that was quite lively but once we closed our double panned windows the room was very quite! We slept wel! Great breakfast and team! We would definitely stay again! Such a cool little hotel. Must warn, though, rooms are small. However, we were expecting that, so we weren’t surprised. What you don’t get in space is made up for in uniqueness. Location is in the heart of the action. Proprietor’s dedication is evident in the care she takes to ensure guests are comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Good: Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Convenient, fun location. Challenges: Rooms are a steep walk up and bar noise outside can’t be blocked out, so commit to rocking out until about 3 am.

Loved it! Great location, small cozy clean room, great breakfast. Parked at parking garage, made it easier as it was hard to find and a festival was going on. 3 minute walk, super easy and I recommend it, much easier than street parking.

Stuff are super friendly and very informative! The place is cute! Since the area is surrounded by restaurants and bars, it could be noisy at times but we can't complain since it's convenient to go around.

Fantastic location, walking distance to so many fun pubs, sights to see. The coffee was strong and the staff were all super friendly. Rooms are very small yet really give you that historical setting since it’s been there 700 years. Very much enjoyed it.

Our stay was excellent at this cute hotel located in the Latin Quarter of Galway. It was within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs, and shops. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was lovely.

Fun old hotel
This hotel building is over 700 years old! We found it fun to stay in a place with so much history, and the location was right in the middle of the old city. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is important to know that when staying in a hotel this old there are a few comforts you give up. No lift, small rooms, being the noticeable parts. That said they have kept the hotel up nicely, and we would happily stay here again. One additional tip; due to covid the city of Galway has blocked/changed directions of some of their streets. Because of this google maps struggled to get us to the parking garage. Check with hotel about parking if you plan to drive.
