Parking lot had numerous spaces blocked with planters, trash cans, and other items for no reason. Carpets were extremely dirty. Breakfast was very limited. Room was okay but water handle in shower kept falling off.

Hopefully this place will change when Baymont takes over. The TV was flaky, the refrigerator froze everything, and the room needed repairs that should have been done before we got there. They even had a loud party the night before Thanksgiving just down the hall. At least the beds were comfortable. Lots of hotels in Gettysburg.

To start, the staff were SO kind and responsive. They were definitely the highlight of the hotel. But we did find that the hotel itself was lacking. The first room we had had several dead bugs on the floor, windowsill, and heater. The furniture was pretty worn down but otherwise okay. The cable TV was not working, but the staff kindly and swiftly helped us move to another room with better (but still not great) cable signal. The second room felt cleaner than the first, but the furnishing were still a bit beat-up and outdated. No housekeeping came to clean the room during our three-night stay despite us leaving the room by 9-ish each morning. We used the pool once—there were several dead bugs and clumps of hair, so it probably isn’t cleaned regularly. Overall the stay was not awful for the price, but I would have hoped for a more clean experience.

Roach Hotel Hell
Our family had a haunted ghost tour in Gettysburg that night. We checked in about 7 pm or so. The lobby wasnt sounding any alarms. The man at the desk was called down from upstairs by some older lady whom had went out to smoke. He wasnt friendly but he wasnt rude. Really didnt have much to say. Gave us the keys. We went to the room, and it was basic but we paid for basic so we didnt mind. The kids went to the pool to check it out and they came back saying the pool was dirty and there were bugs everywhere. We went back to the room, went to grab coffee but there wasnt any, anywhere. We went back to the desk and noone was available to ask, so we let it go and went out on the town. After an exhausting tour, and walk back we were ready to jump in bed. We were closing the blinds and these little beetles were all over the curtains, blinds and windows. Most of them were dead so we didnt have to kill all of them. We let this go because they were just a beetle. Gross, yes absolutely. Now were crawling and looking around. Low and behold thank GOD we saw it, A F***ING ROACH! It was perfectly calm walking around with the light on. What the hell woulds happened when the lights went out!! We had to grab all of our stuff and RUN out of the hotel. We called management and they said NO refund. What a perfect scam. I cant wait to warm everyone about this hotel. Went acdoss the road paid 2 doallrs more for great service, clean rooms and No BUGS!

I liked that it was less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg. Also, there was a Perkins and a Dunkin Donut literally next door as well as shopping. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, it was extremely run down. The place needs to be remodeled. I would not stay again.

This hotel was pretty bad. Our room had a hole punched bathroom door, what we thought was blood on the floor. Turns out the hotel person said it was just tattoo ink, ew. There were several wads of gum on nightstands along with what looked like boogers. The phone cord looked like it was never cleaned. The phone didnt even work to call fromt desk. The sheets were filthy, had to ask for fresh set. The comforter had cigarette burns in it. I took pictures of everything. We will not be returning

the hot breakfast advertised was white bread and a toaster. no butter jelly no fruit coffee no creamer a pancake maker that turned out 1 quarter size pancake every 10 min. I feel like i deserve some money back and YOU Expedia should take it off your site. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Besides the bathtub looking a little dirty- which could have been the lighting I must admit- everything was perfect for me and my needs. Super convenient. Bedding and floors seemed extremely clean and the beds were soft. Easy check in and out. Standard hotel breakfast.

There was yellow jackets coming into the room. We went to The front desk and asked for spray and The guy at The front desk said he would get us some and we never got it. There was mold on the carpet under the sink and the man that took care of my check in was super rude. He Talked to me in a very short manner and as if he was angry with a child. I will never stay here again. The price if The property isnT worth it if you can hardly breathe from the mold spores.

This is not a pleasant place to spend an evening. The hotel itself is a bit dingy and dark. There are smudges and scratches on most of the doors and walls in common areas that have not been cleaned. The laminate flooring was loose in several places. Not that I mean to nitpick the place apart, but the overall sensation was that this isn't really a hotel run with much pride in appearance of affect considering the >$200 per room price point. The rooms themselves were pretty rough. Our (first) room had an overwhelming smell of mold which was so strong we asked for an alternative. The manager gave us an another albeit with a slightly different moldy odor. Smells aside, the rooms themselves appear to be well and truly beaten up. Cracks, smudges and unfinished patches all over the walls. There were several long black hairs on our towels which was a little off-putting. (See photos.) All of the furniture was pretty scuffed up and the tv box was kinda just left hanging from wires on the wall. Again, not a lot of pride on display here and would not stay here again even if the room were free.

There was no water pressure for the shower. The toilet did not flush. The elevator barely made it to the 2nd floor. The hall was dirty and I think under construction, hopefully since flooring was not completed in some areas. Was glad I was with my husband, otherwise would not have felt safe. The doors did not seem to close properly. The price was $220 a night and will never stay again. Very run down

worst stay ever
First off the guy on duty was rude, would not accept my discover card. Went to the Hotel next to yours and they were full. came back with a family members visa card the guy was still rude. Our room was outdated and very dirty, we also had cockroaches, our toilet was not attached correctly, every time we set on it moved and made a loud noise. We are home now, washed all our clothes made piles outside incase one of your bugs hitched a ride. The paint job looked like a 5 year old did it, the carpet was dirty and had holes in it. We will never stay at a Quality Inn again.

Great stay for the money spent.
Overall it was good. We had a great stay. Staff was friendly. Only thing I could suggest is replacing the hall carpets and offer better(hot) breakfast items.

The hotel was a bit far from any of the sights, but that was our fault. Also cheaper than those closer, so fair enough. Breakast was pretty basic but better than what I had in the previous hotel so I was OK with it. Staff did their best to keep things supplied although regular coffee kept running out during the breakfast rush. Pool wasn't fantastic, but OK.

I will start with the good. The staff is excellent! They do their best with what they have to deal with. I will admit we were in a dog friendly room, but these rooms should be condemned. Even my dog was grossed out. Besides the run down room there was a smell in the room like someone died while smoking a carton of cigarettes and they tried to cover it up with a bottle of cherry fabreze. I don’t know if the regular rooms are this bad or just this section. Also we had a neighbor who had social services there doing a welfare check. First time we ever left a hotel early paid for 2 nights stayed 1. I do highly recommend the Perkins next door!

A VERY comfortable night's sleep & Very Affordable
The hotel was a little dated and could use a little TLC in some areas but overall it was a very enjoyable time. The Hotel staff went out of their way to help where they could, even allowing the pool to stay open a little longer so my 3yo and 6yo didn't suffer a meltdown because dad took a little longer than I should have looking for ghosts on the battlefield. Its conveniently located a short drive from all of the Gettysburg attractions and will be on our list of properties we will be returning to when we are back in the neighborhood again.

While parts of building need updating, all are in acceptable working order. Front desk guy at check in was amusing so 5-stars there. Not IN “preferred downtown” but close enough for convenience. Continental Breakfast was just that but Dunkin Is right next door. GREAT value Price

On our current travels we stayed in several Quality Inns and a couple of Baymont properties. Everyone is old and not taken care of. Many issues with all of them. They need renovation or rebuilds. They will not last much longer. Very poor places to stay.

Disappointing
We booked this hotel because it was inexpensive, and we just needed a place to sleep as we were there for only about 12 hours. It was advertised as a non-smoking hotel, however our room (and most of the hotel) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The smell was overpowering and because of it, the room felt dirty. Some of the pillowcases were stained yellow. This Quality Inn was NOT quality.
