Lake Cottage w/Hot Tub at Sam's Pizza

Welcome to Canary Cottage! This unique property is located on the grounds of Sam's Pizza Pub, a favorite among locals and tourists alike since 1980. Guests can enjoy swimming or fishing from the dock on the lake.
Canary Cottage is situated on the waterfront and has been completely remodeled with an open living and kitchen, luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, granite countertops, new appliances, and a well-stocked kitchen. The bedroom has an en suite with a custom tile shower.
During your stay, I am here to assist you, but the level of interaction depends on your preferences. We understand that you value your privacy, and we want to make sure you have a 5-star stay. However, if you need any assistance, we are only a phone call or message away. You'll be able to self-check-in upon arrival.
The property has a rich history dating back to the 1930s. It was the first commercial property on Lake Hamilton that offered boat rentals and fishing docks. In 1981, the Montgomery family purchased the property and opened Sam's Pizza Pub. It is accessible by car or boat and has been a local favorite for lakeside dining ever since.
Burchwood Bay Road is a peaceful and historic lake community. It is an ideal location as it connects Central Avenue to Lakeshore Drive, making it easy to access all the attractions in Hot Springs.
You'll love the back deck overlooking Lake Hamilton. It's a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails! You can watch the boats, go fishing, or head over to the pub for live music and some of the best food in town!

Long anniversary weekend. Nice weekend get away. The property was very clean and have everything we needed. Only negative is the parking but the owner clearly states the parking would be located in front of the bars dumpster.

We found the Perfect place to stay in Hot Springs. Fun Location right in the middle of fun activity. Very nice and extra clean collage with full view of water and walk right down to the dock. Walk up to eat great food at Sam's and their full menu. This place was hidden from the highway and a hidden gem. We will be back soon! Excellent host communication!!

While it was nice to get away for vacation, this place needs help. When arriving we couldn't get in the cabin and had to hunt for someone to help. It was electronic entrance, but he couldn't get in either. Finally located the owners friend to let us in. Site states that the kitchen was stocked. It had some dishes, but not all the dishes you need for a family if you are considering cooking for the week. What they did have was dirty and I took pictures in the event someone may want to look at them. I had to wash everything before using. No toaster, can opener or bowls. Below is my list of of other issues. -Coffee pot dirty (Keurig inside where the pod goes) and outside as well. -Floors really dirty - bathroom and kitchen. -Bed spread had large lumps in it the size of baseballs. -Hair on the sheets but thankfully I brought my own linens just in case. -They said there was a place for swimming right out side the door, but failed to tell us that you can't due to the boat docks, and boats coming in and out to get the the pizza place next door. The water wasn't safe near the dock and our kids couldn't swim due to debris. So we had to leave daily to take them out so they could swim. - It was open late on Friday and Saturday, so there was allot of noise due to the music and people. The more they drank the louder it got. -There was a sheer curtain on the window and our kids slept on the fold out sofa. The street light was shining in the window all night. -No trash bags, no toiletries. -We needed an extra blanket, but the only one available stunk so bad that we couldn't use it. -Big one here - husband ask if there was wifi and was told yes. Normally not a big deal but he did need to log on for work so we had to drive to Starbucks or surrounding areas to use wifi. Good thing - they had a place for our boat and allowed us to park our boat trailer in the pizza parking lot for the week, just not on the weekends.

The cabin was beautiful, my husband felt the bed was to soft leaving him hurting. I would recommend a full length mirror so you can see when getting ready. The pizza restaurant Was alot closer then I expected like literally back of restaurant was directly across from cabin. Further away from the water then I expected. The cabin was very well stocked, omwer was very quick to respond, very informative and kind. Close enough to town if you need soth8ng or wanna go somewhere but stil slightly secluded on the lake. Overall great experience.

We had such a wonderful time. Landan did an amazing job with the remodel, we had everything we needed. Steps to the lake and the view was breath taking. Sam's pizza next store...amazing! We will definitely be back

Loved the cottage! Everything had just been updated which gave it such a cozy feel, while having the best of today's standards. The big windows looked out onto the water and allowed us to people watch from the comfort of inside. They had everything that you could need there. Sam's pizza is right next door for when you crave a bite to eat. Even though they do get busy, you really can not hear any outside noise from the bedroom. We enjoyed it so much, hope to come back again!

We had a great time at the Canary Cottage. Landan was responsive and so helpful. The location was great. Being close to Sam’s Pizza was great for us and the kiddos. It was a quick trip to downtown and the National Park. I highly recommend the location.

We arrived very late in the night but that was no problem as we were given a PIN for entry. It was a great stay at a great rate. The owners were even kind enough to mail some forgotten items back to me in St Louis. If you're considering booking just do it.

I came to Hot Springs for the horse race and they closed track to fans. The house was a little hard to find and not pretty on the outside, very nice on the inside. It has a great deck to enjoy and right on the water. Not sure where to park but I made do I will stay again

Have never been to hot springs but needed a place for my folks to stay. This was the by far best in price and quality for my parents. Small but perfect for two. Very clean and up kept interior. Fridge, Keurig, tv, stove; everything someone would need for a weekend get away. Was so easy to get in touch with the owner or caretakers seeing how the pizza place is right next door (btw awesome pizza and desserts there!). Next time we come we will stop by Sams and say hi and if we need a cabin I know I’ll be contacting this same property. You guys were great and made my parents feel at home. Take care.
