The Hotel was lovely and in a great location, the roof top pool with sunbeds were always quiet so not a problem to get a bed, also a good bar on the roof. We only took breakfast which was very good, a large selection so would suit everybody. Room was really good with big fluffy towels, pay extra for a room with sea view, definitely well worth it. Second time in this hotel and it will not be the last.

Was put on the ground floor and the room is super small. The A/C is running air fan in the night. No ice or tea pot in the room. The front desk can't speak English. Hard to navigate and communicate. However, the staffs working in buffet are super friendly. One of them can speak English.

Paid extra for a sea view at this hotel. When we arrived they were digging up all the pavements outside in front of our room and the beach. The hotel said nothing about this before we arrived or when we checked in. When asking about moving room they said they were full and could do nothing about it. The work stated at 7 am every morning with diggers lorries delivering concrete and drilling Outside the hotel the paths were diverted and there was dust and dirt everywhere The bars and restaurants looked out onto this so you had to go further into town when going out for a drink It ruined our holiday and the hotel accepted no responsibility or offered no compensation

I find it hard to have a negative about this hotel. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast that was a buffet style had something for everyone. The room was clean and comfortable with aircon, a mini fridge, hairdryer and TV. The pool was clean and there were enough beds for this time of year (I could imagine it may be different in peak season). The staff were great at the pool bar and the food good with a varied menu at reasonable prices. The hotel is literally accross the road from the beach and there are small shops and a couple of restaurants on the same street with lots more about 15min walk away. The only improvement would have been a shower room as we were out our room for several hours before our flight but that really is being picky. Would definitely go back.

Spent Christmas and new year at this hotel. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and spacious. We had a beautiful sea view with balcony. There was no kettle in the room but we asked at reception and one was provided. The staff were friendly, and more than helpful. We didn’t use the pool but it looked fine, a little on the small side maybe but that is not an issue. We were half board, so breakfast and dinner. We didn’t enjoy the food much, but again that was just us. We would never normally go half board but thought we would give it a try. There was always something we liked, but often left disappointed. The only down side was there are improvements being made outside the hotel NOT THE HOTELS FAULT, which was noisy and disruptive to all. It will look fantastic when done and the area itself was just lovely. Not to commercialised at all which we loved and we would love to come back again sometime. Finally, (cutting a long story short) Expedia cancelled our booking after a phone call I made regarding the disruption outside and my disabled husband. The front desk staff were fantastic and allowed us to stay in our room, even though they didn’t know who was paying them at the end of our holiday. Again this was not the fault of the hotel. I would consider this a 4* hotel. Only improvements would be a fridge, with tea and coffee facilities included. Thank you to all

Well located hotel with the beach and bus stop to the airport just steps away. The check in counter staff were pleasant however our experience was marred by the chaotic breakfast area and made unwelcome by a blond server

Stayed for 4 nights in early December, this is an excellent hotel in a really good position. views over the beach and sea are lovely. (Definitely recommend a sea view room) staff were friendly and helpful and hire of pool towels is very useful. Rooftop pool/terrace and bar was great too. Rooms/beds very comfortable and very clean! Breakfast was great too, lots of choice and varied. Only thing that wasn’t great is that the area in front of hotel is being dug up currently, so work going on, but to be honest it wasn’t too bad and didn’t bother us. I’m sure by Jan/Feb it will be finished and looks unsightly more than anything else! (Not the hotels fault either)

First visit to Lanzarote (we are working through the islands), and this was a great spot to stay. The city is not tourist central, which I greatly prefer, and the hotel was brilliant, for location, just opposite the golden sands and sea, and for bus and road connectivity. It was also lovely and clean, breakfast was good and varied, facilities (gym, pool, bar) on the roof were great, and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely choose this hotel again. TIP - Choose room overlooking beach, it is stunning.

We love the Lancelot! Can't recommend it highly enough - SO clean, absolutely lovely colleagues, especially catering staff Franky, Nico, Nira, Pedro, Eduardo (and several others whose names I didn't pick up). The food was fantastic - I expected to come home half a stone heavier, but actually LOST weight due to the huge, fresh and healthy choice available, and all the walking we did during the week! The pool is cold, but very welcome in the 35° temps we had in early October, the only problem would be for anyone less mobile to get up the final flight of stairs (the lift only goes as far as the pool bar/gym) The Lancelot is very conveniently situated, right on the sea front, and the bus station is under 10 minutes' walk, Intercity fares are very inexpensive - we caught the bus from the airport to the Lancelot and it only cost €1.40 each, saving us a £30 transfer! Arrecife to PDC was I think €1.70 by bus. We walked right out to the lighthouse beyond the castle/fort/museum a couple of times (excellent spot to watch the sunset from), and spent many happy hours rambling around the streets, testing all the flavours of ice cream. We loved it, and can't wait to go back!

Lovely comfortable stay for 3 nights. Breakfast and dinner was buffet style and lunch was 3 course a la carte menu. The room was clean and lovely views of the beach right outside the hotel.

Had ants in the mini fridge. Informed reception who sent up a cleaner, hours later that day the ants where everywhere, in our luggage and over our items. We had to move rooms at 23:30pm when we had a early flight the next day. On top of this, the shower was broken that it was pouring out everywhere like a tap!

Lovely holiday
We stayed for 11 nights at hotel Lancelot. Its the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel in Arricife. Perfect holiday, overlooking the lovely el playa de reducto. Resturants and bars are really friendly in the city. Definitely recommend a stay here

This was last minute booking to accompany my mum after a fall on holiday found her hospitalised. Lucky to have found this gem at such short notice. Very conveniently situated with taxi rank round the corner, nearby pharmacy, banks, shops, it seems everything i have needed has been a short walk away. Lovely clean room, lovely staff, nice food, buffet meal choices are good, the dining restaurant has small selection but delicious food. The balcony is clean with chairs and table to sit out and enjoy a brew. Beach is literally across the road with a nice boardwalk and seating areas. Already looking to book to bring my family back here. Overall a whole lot better than I expected from a 3* hotel and will return.
