It was a long walk to my room and I had to climb stairs to get to the lift. During my 3 day stay I had to get my key card renewed 4 times, which involved walking all the way back to reception and back to my room again. When I checked in I was originally given the key to a room that was already occupied. I walked in on a couple .

The hotel is in perfect spot quite place, close to airport and just infront of beach. All inclusive was a good offer. Food was good just depends what you like. Hotel was clean and friendly staff. Will recommend anyone

Went here last year, where i gave a 5 star review (hence returning). The property condition seems to have worsened over the year with no evidence of maintenance. Check in was delayed 3 times, not what you want with 2 kids after 7 hours traveling. On the plus side, the facilities are great as is the location of the hotel, staff are all friendly and kids entertainers are great as too is the food.

Food was horrendous
We were all inclusive and had to eat out every meal. The food was dreadful. The restaurant was drab and dreary. Resembles a school canteen. Entertainment was more for families than couples. This holiday ended us costing us a lot of money. One bar opened and you had to queue for ages. One of the worst all inclusive hotels I have stayed in.

We were very well taken care at Sol Lanzarote, the rooms were amazing, with a great view, the staff was incredible (especially in the dining room). The only downside is the excessive noise: most of the people want to relax but have to listen to loud techno on the pool due to some fitness activity for 3 people. Also, why do we have to have breakfast with loud music outside? Considering the target audience (families and older people), I can´t think of anyone who is happy to start the morning with loud techno.

- Excellent location, right by a lovely beach - Good size rooms - Fun activities for the kids (at the pool, and kids party in the evening) and shows for the grown-ups (magic, music,...) - Beautiful pools, but water is a bit cold - Nice choice of food at the restaurant and the bars - Super friendly staff

Pros: Great Location for an easy trip. Lovely, helpful staff and a great selection of food always available. Drinks were good for an all-inclusive. Most other things great for the price, really would go back again. Cons(small things): Coffee could do with an actual bean grinder rather than powder, to go above and beyond. Never been charged to use the safe in a hotel before, bear in mind. Also deposit for towels, bit odd. Overall a great stay and would really recommend.

Stayed at the Sol 2 years ago & we couldnt fault anything, however this year i did not think the rooms were cleaned properly the sheets were never changed & the floor was only cleaned once in seven days we had to wear slippers or shoes because the floor felt so dirty apart from the room everything else was great, we had a fab holiday & would definitely return if the rooms were cleaned properly.

4 night all-inclusive stay
Great 4 night stay. Beds not the best. Room was clean. All-inclusive food was average but plenty of choice. Pool area was great but beware the towels start going on sunbeds early and the usual nonsense of not seeing anybody on them until gone dinner somtimes

Nice resort with an amazing staff.. We had just a lovely stay, 3 big pools plus one small for infant,which was perfect for us. The hotel is right on front of the beach and the old town is only few min away by taxi (for a 6€ ride) there is also a small area, 3min walking distance, with pubs and some shops. The only bad things I can say about the hotel are: the alcholic drinks are horrible, very cheap quality (but you can pay and get the good stuff), the food is ok nothing great, but everything is made up thanks to all the amazing stuff always willing to help and make your stay as much comfortable as possible. Special thanks to Rene at the buffet, Alberto at the bar and Aleks the housekeeper. Overall a very nice holidays

The food was absolutely wonderful as usual.....one of the reasons we keep returning to this hotel, the new arrangements for serving yourselves drinks is a very good idea and has removed the queues that used to happen in the evening. The staff are absolutely brilliant especially the way the relate to the children, especially the dining room staff,they are always smiling and work at amazing speed. the kitchen staff are really efficient and at no time did any of of the food items run out...well done

Lovely relaxed hotel in a great location. Food quality was mostly good, but variable - would benefit from less variety perhaps, so they could focus on the dishes provided. Also vegetarian food wasn’t labelled, so hidden meat kept turning up. If they invested in heating for one of the big pools it would make a huge difference. Would definitely visit again!

Having access to the cappuccino machine throughout the day was wonderful. Access to the beach walking/biking path, close proximity to the airport, and sunny skies every day were also blessings.

The room wa a big let down.looked nothing like the advertised pictures.walls were painted with different colour paint,The bathroom tiles looked very shabby,need to be replaced.Also the food was not very hot unfortunately

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The rooms were big and there was plenty of cupboards etc and the bathroom was huge. The hotel was always clean, the food was superb & the staff were very helpful & friendly. The evening entertainment was excellent. There were always plenty of sunbeds although not always around the pool. This hotel exceeded my expectations and we had a wonderful time.

The proximity of the beach and the laid back feel of the hotel was great. Lovely family resort. Food was ok, but could have been better. We were unfortunate to be staying during the same week as a chav scouse women who kept half the hotel awake till 2am. She was so loud, i can only imagine she was speaking to people in Playa Blanca.

Nice clean rooms, very spacious. Good location. Maybe an exterior facelift needed. Breakfast great. Flights with Ryanair did not have sufficient baggage allowance and required an £80 upgrade which was disappointing.

The best of the best! I will return to Sol Lanzarote hotel. It was amazing especially the staff. All very polite and giving 110% in everything they do. I recommend couples or families to book with Sol Lanzarote Hotel. Great work guys!!

The hotel is in need of renevation although clean it’s looking old and drab the rooms are now sparse and as the majority of guests are English speaking there are no UK tv channels on the room package. The food was very poor and repetitive and never hot. Do not know how this hotel has kept its 4 star rating as it need to be reappraised this is our 3 rad year there and will be our last. The hotel now is marketed as I assume a family hotel which is good but not if you are a couple as there is no adult only zones

We thought the all inclusive package was very good value. The food, drink and activities were all good and the room was comfortable and very spacious, as the rooms had mostly been apartments in the past.Location is excellent, in front of the beach, promenade and close to shops and amenities. The first plane ariving at 7.00am is noisy, if you have the huge patio doors open, but after that, you do not hear it any more. Mostly, there is no noise apart from that of the sea. The downsides were the poor Wifi reception, which made it difficult to download music etc, which was a pity, as there were no English Channels on the beautiful wide screen TV, just foreign news programmes in English. There was also a smell of sewage in the beautiful garden in front of our block (the furthest right), as the treatment centre is in front of the garden. However, we could not smell it on our balcony or in our room. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If Wifi, TV and sewage system were improved, it would be perfect.
