I rang the buzzer 4 times, no one came to the front desk. I called, no one answered. I went out to my car and honked the horn. No one came to the front desk. I once again went to the front desk and rang the buzzer. Finally after several minutes someone came to the front desk. The woman made it my fault for not entering my pin number when I told her because I was short I needed to tip the reader to see the buttons. I wasn't quick enough for the entry to go through. I tried 3 times and finally did it by standing on my toes on my very painful nerve damaged legs. I was still made to feel the checking in process was my fault. The room was just okay because we were just there for the night.

We didn't have a fridge in our room and didn't have a hair dryer, thought a staff person did loan us her hairdryer. The first room they put us in was supposedly smoke free and it wasn't, we did switch to different room.

We prefer staying at Ma and Pa motels to support small businesses. Problem with this one was we arrived but office was closed. This was 5:00 p.m. called its phone number. Manager called back and told us she walked to store, but heading back realized she had left her keys locked in her office. Had to get key from somewhere else. Took way over an hour waiting in our car. Finally got our room but it hadn’t been cleaned! Manager worked around us to clean the room because housekeeping forgot this room. Manager was nice and apologetic but whatever. The place was very nice though and we would stay here again besides all the trouble. Better than supporting big corporations!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. I know some other reviews have knocked the front office staff for their friendliness or lack of and for the cleanliness of the ribs. I however had a different experience. My flight was delayed by a couple hours and didn't get to the hotel till 11:45 p.m. the front office staff stayed up late and made sure that we got into our room. I am super thankful of her for doing that. As to the rooms themselves, the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is a little old and dated and yes could probably use some tender loving care. But for the price I paid I got exactly what I expected and was satisfied.

Quick, Easy and Affordable
We needed a quick, easy and affordable place to stay for one night on our long drive and the Valley Inn was perfect! Everyone we met was kind, helpful and welcoming. It was a great stay!

Booking was easy. We had a very late checking 2:47 am and the staff was there for us. I had trouble contacting them via text or email but I was in an area with no cell service. I was able to leave a phone message. Upon arrival we were able to check in seamlessly. I was so grateful! The properfy is aged but is clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The basic amenities is all there is but that is all we wanted anyway. Bring your own blow dryer if you need one.. Thank you Valley Inn!

No one was there to help when we arrived. Had to wait 15 minutes. The place is not in good shape. The lady was very rude and yelled at us to check out 15 minutes before checkout.

I spoke with the Desk clerk and find out that one of the disabled people stay in that room and peed all over in the room, so she got upset and ask them to pay for the property damage.

The pictures online are very misleading. The walls were dirty, remote control was coated in crusted food, hair in the shower and on bed, stains in the carpet and chair, broken blinds in bathroom, and our bathroom towels had stains on them. There was also a very funky smell..

The light bulb in the lamp was not working and they would not replace the bulb. No chair in the room. No curtain over the bathroom window. No hangers in the closet had to ask for them. Door lock barely functional. Appears as tho they do minimal maintenance on the place. Our business partners in the 2nd room did not have adequate towels and wash cloths. Would not reccommend this place to anyone.

aThis place was Horrid, dirty inside and out. room stunk was filthy, drain was clogged, nobody available at service window. Employee was very rude at check inn. bathroom only had a half of roll of paper, awful stay here. I would like my money back????

I got to the hotel and they said i didnt have a reservation. Tried calling Hotel. Com and could never reach a person. The auto system would not recognize my confirmation number. will not be paying any charge they tey and charge

I would never stay there again. Carpet had stains all over it. The pillow cases had big stains and small BLOOD stains on 2 of them. Bio hazard! The whole wall power outlets pulled completely out of the wall!! The table lamp didn’t work. The dead bolt on the front door didn’t work! It didn’t line up with the hole. The whole door handle and mount was very loose and pulled away from door when opening. ( the top screw was almost falling out. There was dark longs hairs on the pillow case and the bathroom floor. The bathroom garbage can haD A LARGE PILL still in it from the previous guest. If it hadn’t been 10:00pm when we got there, I would have left and found another hotel. Horrible!!

We came really late and the owner was still nice enough to rent my room and I loved the room me and my girlfriend felt so cozy and the town Lebanon itself is so beautiful!! There’s a huge thrift store right next to it also!!

Property was o.k. (all I expected ), room was clean, bed o.k. Now; could not turn on cold h2o in shower, sink drained very slowly, regurgitated ?,second day the "key" was changed leaving us standing in the rain (the "office" staff was "taking a shower", no clothes rod in closet had to live out of a suit case.

The check in staff was very friendly & efficient. At first glance it looked ok. It is an older property & in need of updates & repairs which I would be ok with if it was not for some very upsetting stains and uncleaned areas such as the side of the nightstand which had a white spray or spill. The shower curtain had what looked like both laundered & “fresh” stains which made me refuse to shower there! These were noticed late as I was getting ready for bed & no staff was onsite. Their hrs are not posted and at 8:45 am I finally left a message and left my keys in rooms to “check out” expressed my concerns via voicemail & never received even an acknowledgement that they received my mag & checked me out or to apologize for the experience.

The deadbolt didn’t work. The toilet wouldn’t flush. You could see air/daylight all the way around the door. It is old and outdated. It was quiet, considering the traffic.

Worst ever
This has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stay in. The refrigerator was at cleaned out. There’s mildew in the shower. The comforter was raggity and old. The bathroom faucet did work properly. The AC unit made a lot of noise. The toilet was properly attached to the floor and wobbled. The health department should shut it down.

The room was disgusting! Beds were dirty, the carpet is covered in stains and gross. Walls were dirty, gaps in the walls. Door lock didn’t work. The only nice thing was the tile in the shower and floor. There was no curtain in the bathroom, so if someone was in the backyard while you shower they got a show. I honestly felt gross and disgusting.

Check in was on confusing side on Staff side. The room was not that comfortable and the bedding was extremely in need of new blankets and linens. Put a bit of money into it and be much better. Bath essentials were given, toilet and shower were clean. Walls had some need in repair. The parking lot was loaded with cig butts. The WIFI was not given to us and they did not answer the phone.

Absolutely Awful - Slept In Car Instead
Upon arrival at the hotel after a 13 hours drive, we were ready to shower and sleep. Firstly, the front desk attendant wasn’t wearing a mask to check us in. A non-smoking room was booked, but a $100 cash deposit was required to get the room key and were told “if you don’t smoke, you get it back”. The room itself was subpar: the carpet was moist from humidity and smelled bad, the room was very cold, the shower was dirty, chairs had cigarette burns, and overall just not as advertised. We decided we were too tired to care much as there wasn’t time to make new accommodations. I took a shower (there was plenty of hot water, at least), my partner was going to climb into bed, but when I came back out, the bedding was pulled back but my partner was sitting on the end of the bed. I looked at the sheets - they were wrinkled, there was a used tissue in the bed, and about five small black insects crawling on the sheets. We immediately took pictures, packed up and went to the front desk. We were refused both a new room and a refund. Since we couldn’t find other accommodations, we drove to the nearest rest stop and slept in our car for the night. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel, under any circumstances.
