The hotel is well located being within walking distance of the sea front, the old town and the station, as well as being on the tram route for the airport. Our room was fairly spacious, light and airy and it was generally very quiet in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were very good quality. The staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to stay there again.

Well situated elegance
I asked for a high floor room away from a lift and was given one on the second floor with only one other room between mine and the lift. Luckily no noise could be heard from it. My room was beautifully decorated with mid brown carpet, had a comfortable double bed, fridge/mini bar, easy to operate digital safe, flat screen tv and tea/ coffee making facilities together with bottled water were complimentary. Lovely bathroom too with spacious shower cubicle and choice of hand held or rainfall shower. The hotel is very well placed close enough to the main shopping area in Nice and the seafront. Staff on reception very efficient and mostly very welcoming.

Store with groceries , water, wine, food, personal hygiene , really anything you need was less than two blocks walk. The front desk had a gal that spoke excellent English and was so easy to talk to, gave us directions and recommendations, hired a taxi for our departure, made the stay a real treat.breakfast was wonderful, the setting {we sat outdoors, but the inside looked nice too}the food options, all wonderful. Easy walk to the waterfront, marketplace, so many restaurants, shopping .Would go back in a heart beat! Highly recommend.

The Evening You Never Wish to Experience
Between Hotels.com confirming my room with full payment made almost 3 months earlier, and emailing the Villa Victoria asking for an early check-in, when I arrived the hotel did not have a reservation for me/family. This is the last thing you want to experience after a long flight from the U.S. of 12 hours. I was left stressed and was left to figure this out myself. Someone messed up between Hotels.com and this hotel for this to occur. Once I finally reached upper management at the hotel an effort was truly made to help myself and family out, which I appreciated! (They worked very hard at trying to help out). Eventually another room was found at a different hotel which did not compare to the Villa Victoria. The cooling didn't even work! I'm still not happy with the recent response received from Hotels.com to address this failure and the prolonged stressful situation that family and I were subjected to. Beware, even with a confirmation received months earlier from Hotels.com along with full payment made, it still doesn't guarantee that you'll have a room when you arrive!!
