Enjoyed our stay there but there was construction across the street that was noisy in the beginning but ended by 5. Room was very comfortable and bedding superb. Would gladly stay again
The staff were great in the bar and the food was amazing.
The only thing I was a bit put out about is I booked with Hotels.com which offered me the VIP package. When I was asking at reception the gentleman cut me short while I was explaining and said I get nothing with them and only get my VIP advantages with the third party and not the hotel? which did not make any sense as it is the collaboration of the booking agent and hotel that offer the extras!!!!!
hotel was cold , wating staff useless , great food
no heating in bar & restaurant making dining uncomfortable . wating staff to busy talking to take order or clear table . Bed was very comfortable , Evening meal was very good , Breakfast was also very good .
Waiting staff need to be trained on how to serve tables , Clear courses when finished & up sell deserts .we did not get the option to order despite asking , we gave up in the end .
A good hotel but a little remote from the city centre. Staff were great. Food was OK, but not exactly Cordon Bleu. Good full Irish breakfast though. Walking distance (about 30 minutes) to Thomond Park for the rugby, which is why we were there.
Went over for a few days for the Rugby. Good location for Thomond Park, and really easy to travel around on the buses. The staff were very professional and helpful at all times. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again. Thank you.
As described - well appointed and while slightly out of town, transport links were good and taxi affordable if that option chosen. Very comfortable stay and would use again.
Nice size room and clean hotel a short drive from the city center. Ample parking spaces. Had an issue getting my 100 Euro cash deposit back early in the morning. Had to wait until someone came to the receptionist desk at 0730 in order to get into the cash drawer.
We stayed here for the weekend as a family of three. When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist who wasnt overly welcoming. Straight to the point but not even a smile or anything. We had to pay a 100 euro charge when we got there to which we did not expect as we already paid for the two nights in full prior to our visit. I understand the fee can be asked for if its a large group of people but for a couple with a small child it was a first. You get this charge back when you leave and I imagine after they have checked the condition the room is left in. Our room was located just over the leisure centre and over by what i can guess was the boiler to the building as it was very hard to sleep hearing the constant noice of it. We were given paper cups in the hotel room instead of cups. For a four star hotel it was disappointing.
Disappointing for what is rated a 4-star hotel. However, we got a very good value rate for Ireland so maybe we got one of the cheap rooms. The ensuite bathroom was particularly awful - Toilet not flushing properly, bath taps leaking, stains, etc... You get what you pay for but unfortunately, we won't be staying again.
Conveniently located 5 min from town with plenty of parking. Hotel is very clean, reception staff cheerful.
Although the decor of the room was looking a little tired with torn wallpaper, damaged wood & the Sink had a large crack that had been badly repaired, however it didn’t affect our stay as room was very clean & shower was great, again very clean bathroom. Bed was very comfortable which is a massive plus. Tea & coffee in room with complimentary bottle of water. We had a meal in the restaurant which was nice & reasonably priced so we booked for breakfast next morning & this was very good. The room number was 163 if these details want to be checked out. Enjoyed our stay & would return as overall was comfortable with good food.
One night stay for business. Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Barfood was excellent and the bar and restaurant staff couldn't have been nicer. Nice gym and pool also. Would definitely use again.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
We left our room at 8am and got back 3:00pm and it still was not serviced..
There isn't a lift from the reception to all the rooms, which is rather frustrating when you have suitcases.
I was surprised to hear it was a four star hotel..as is The Strand in Limerick; as there was a huge difference in quality. Also the lighting in the rooms is not adequate for reading.
All staff that i had dealings with were friendly and pleasantbut itis more like a family business than a 4 star hotel.
I couldn’t use the toilet as it wasn’t flushing properly. Discovered this at 1 am.
Did not complain as I was checking out that day. I stayed for one day.
The room was clean, bed very uncomfortable.the hotel in general was very dirty. Carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. Pool area and changing rooms very run down and dirty looking. Service was shocking at dinner many staff on but no one seem to know what was happening except one lovely girl who eventually took items that never arrived or were incorrect off my bill. Check in was poor and my paperwork was less than what I was charged and the man who seemed manager was quite rude at explaining the reason. Overall I would return.
The manager Tony at the restaurant was hands down the BEST server we’ve ever had. Was super friendly, fast, informative while touring and ensured we had the best experience. He made our night
