Such a beautiful hotel. The staff where extremely kind and helpful, our room was absolutely stunning and clean, the amenities where amazing, and the food at “The terrace” was unbelievable. My boyfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary here and would love to spend the rest of our anniversary’s here!

The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Room amenities and the gym were also very good. The decor of the common areas was also pleasant. However the quality of food at breakfast was very disappointing. The menu and service was good, but the food that arrived was lukewarm, bland and small in size. Overall a very pleasant stay, but surprised by poor breakfast.

No hot water! Beware of parking charges!
Pros - Location is great as central is city. Cons - Parking, if you are parking in the suggested multi story, remove your motorway toll device from windscreen as otherwise you will be charged full amount to your toll account. When I drove to the car park barrier automatically went up, where as I should have removed my motorway toll device and took a ticket at the car park. No mention of this on their website, yet staff are well aware of the issue, so I had to pay full overnight at car park and not the €12. By the way, valet parking is €36 and that is probably some member of staff parking your car in the car park for €12. On the morning of the 27th December, no hot water in the shower or for that matter the hotel, it seems it was a hospital wide issue. USB chargers in the sockets at the bedside, not working. No tea bags, only coffee in the bedroom. There are only toiletries for one person, 1 small bottle of shower gel, in case you don't bring your own and two people are staying, use it sparingly. I did read some so so comments, but I still took a chance, would I take a chance again, no I wouldn't. Is this a 4 star , with the experience I had no. The good experience was the breakfast at the Hook and Ladder, which is walking distance from the hotel..

Since it was Christmas
My family arrived on Christmas Eve. The hotel was beautiful. Checking in was extremely loud due to the amount of people. Bruno was the man and helped with everything! During our stay, we had the tell the hotel there was no hot water. The hot tub was at most, kind of warm. Could not find any pool towels. Our view from the 4th floor was some trashy old buildings and roofs. I ordered dessert from the bar downstairs, they forgot the ice cream, then the vanilla anglaise, then the utensils, then the crackers for the cheese. And now i have melted ice cream. I have not been to many 5⭐️ hotels, but I dont feel this should be. But it was Christmas and not much was open. The hotel was beautiful and nice rooms and located in a shopping area, but would Recommend a good ole B&B for a cheaper price and use the extra $ for experiences.

Very disappointing for a supposedly 5-star hotel. Reception area is confusing and not welcoming. Staff were nice but wasn't 5-star service. Room was fine, nothing special, poor attempt to update dated decor...photos look better than the room actually is. A/c wasn't working, said it to reception, they sent someone up to look but didn't fix it. Breakfast was not great, produce was same as what you'd get at a petrol station deli..."potato rostis" were 2 frozen triangle hash browns. €6 for a small glass of orange juice. Swimming pool was a complete joke...about 5m long. Hot tub was disgusting, old mouldy tiling around the edge of it, and brown and worn at the bottom of it. Wouldn't be rushing back in a hurry.

Very nice hotel in the downtown area of Limerick. Walkable to pubs and restaurants. The hotel pub was friendly and had great staff. Check in was easy. Nice 15 minute walk to the castle.

Very nice clean hotel with a unique breakfast experience. Location is great and a block from the Shannon River. Large grocery store across the street and plenty other shops and pubs just steps away. The rooms have climate control and mini-fridges which is apparently unusual in Ireland. Rooms also have USB jacks. Great place to stay.
