What I didn’t like was the continental breakfast in your room. It was delivered in a brown bag and was awful. Where was the restaurant to get breakfast??? Not what I would expect from the Hilton. Maybe they are accommodating another sort of guest ?????

Hi Stephen,I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your breakfast,We recently had a flood and as such regular breakfast has been suspended until we can repair the damage in the breakfast area, This should have been explained on check-in.

Room was as described and met our needs, parking was in the multi storey next to the hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was not available in the restaurant due to a flood which was not made at the time of booking , a continental breakfast was delivered in a bag with the offer of fruit juice and a hot bacon/sausage roll. Reception staff were functional but not welcoming both at check in and when relaxing with drink later in the evening and 24/7 menu was not available due to staff shortage.

We had to book this hotel at the last minute so hadn't had time to read any reviews or policies. The reception staff were great and explained that their was limited hot breakfast , we would only be able to order a hot breakfast roll but she would bring up a continental breakfast bag up to our room. Unfortunately the bag was not exactly what I would have called a continental breakfast, both bags were different and had random items in them. On the second night the breakfast bags had been left outside our room and again very random items in them. A packet of custard creams, a carton of orange juice and a small container of jam , a wooden knife and a spoon. Other than the lack of breakfast everything else was ok.

My room was great very clean, But dining for breakfast was limited as there was building work going on and was not made aware of this when booking and checking in.

Having stayed at Hampton Hilton’s before, staff were friendly, room was a decent size however the sofa bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever for our daughter which resulted in a very poor nights sleep before a 4.30am wake up for a flight isn’t ideal. Restaurant menu was ok but food was pretty basic would recommend eating else where if possible. Hotel was very convenient. Room smelt of cigarette smoke when we checked in but smell dissipated after air con switched off.

Needs an update
Hotel was very dated, check in staff seemed unbothered. The key thing though was the breakfast, was awful. Cold food, dry and tough as anything. Really truly awful cooked and continental, and the surfaces and coffee machine were dirty too.

Great overnight stay
Stayed for one night before a flight and it was a great experience. Reception staff very courteous attentive and friendly. Room very clean, bed comfortable, great pillows. No noise overnight. Bar staff excellent so friendly, Breakfast was very good. Defo would stay here again if needed an overnight before a flight

Awful
Booked a twin room only to be given a double room and not allowed to switch and no pull out bed available. Two boys having to share a double bed to which one ended up in the bath to sleep. Music being blasted from another room and nothing done about it. Not happy at all

Great location and perfect for what we needed. However, i clearly booked a twin room on Expedia. On arrival it was a double and not appropriate. The hotel doesn’t have any twin rooms, but Expedia thinks they do. Please sort Expedia.

Room was really clean abs very comfy bed. Just signs for the car park disappear so ended up costing me £5 to use drop off car park as i didn't know where to go. Had to call up hotel for directions. So use middle lane for multi story car park! Level 5!

This hotel should be given a 4 star. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and smelt so nice upon entering. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Good deal
Room on 10th floor with view of Mersey was enjoyable. Seemed newly refurbished. Could have done with an extra pillow, but always enjoy staying at your hotel when visiting friends in Liverpool because parking, access and check-in are so simple and breakfast is open longer than usual and the price is reasonable.

The dining area was filthy. Dirt on the floor with remains of food from customers breakfast. Serving spoons were not resting on a plate but instead a table spoon rested on a paper napkin which stuck to the spoon! The sliced bread was uncovered. Serving area was messy , unattended in order to maintsin cleanliness standards. A cloth and cleaning agentvwas the first thing visible on the table where serving plates were made available. I informed receotion staff and it seemed to be "fobbed"off -apologies given but nothing attended to even after i went back to help myself to some coffe from the filthy coffee/tea machine with spilafes onnthe floor abd sugar and stained fluids on shelf. 5 other customers were unhappy with regards to cleanliness ( only one othet customer also spoke to reception staff)and condition of dining area and food service area. The customer dining room bin was overflowing to max with rubbish spilling over. Weetabix was sprawled on table tops. Food ( bacon/ scrambled egg) in bain-marie was dry and unpalatable with dirty table spoons( not serving spoons) - some directly on the table top, some on a paper napkins! I have taken photographs. Appaling level of cleanliness. Bedrooms were of an "alright" standard ' - corridor carpets had obvious dirt on them. Bathrooms were decently supplied with tissues, toilet roll,toiletries and bath towels which was axrekief. I stayed for 2 nights. I was not a happy customer. Will stay at Premier Inn or Travel Lodge next time.
