The location is excellent for the Arena, the bar staff and the room service team were helpful and friendly. The room was seriously dated and nowhere near 4 star (no extractor fan, fridge, fronts to wardrobe, pillows, space…). One morning the water was tepid as the boiler had broken. The reception staff were varied with one bordering on just rude. The breakfast was ok but the ketchup and was so low budget I thought I had put strawberry sauce on my plate and the beans translucent.

The staff were very friendly but the hotel seemed tired. We stayed here in 2019 and it seems to have gone down hill since then. The bathrooms are tired, we had a cracked sink and rust around the edges of the mirror. The paint was dirty and it didn’t feel very clean. There was no hot water in any of the 3 rooms I’d booked on Saturday morning, and when I mentioned to Reception the reply was it was because everyone was using hot water at that time and it was the same for everyone, but there should be hot water now (1pm).. and cold water is good for your hair! I would usually expect guaranteed hot water any time of day in a hotel?!? No apology or offer of compensation, so it seemed like this wasn’t a one-off issue, but quite normal.. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good. It was a convenient location for the Arena, but it was £10 more per night than the Premier Inn 2 mins walk away, so I think next time I’ll book that as my daughter stayed there this weekend and had lots of hot water and a great bathroom (and powerful shower - she said her hair had never felt so clean haha) as well as everything else.

Staff were welcoming. The room was not great at all, next to the bed there was a large stain on the carpet that was very questionable, shelf missing in bathroom. Upon checking in at 3pm there was groups of people in close rooms making lots of noise getting ready for a night out, which I do not have an issue with at all however better room could have been selected for a couple. We asked to move rooms because of this and the room was much better however I wouldn’t have rated it as a 4 star hotel. Would not recommend for a couple staying the night in Liverpool

Parking is nearby. Check-in was very easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast and overnight stay. Would definitely book again.

The staff were amazing, couldn’t do more to help, room clean and bright. It’s a shame the there was not parking at the hotel It was only 5 mins away though. £12 a day parking and £12.50 /£14.50 breakfast I thought one or the other could’ve been included. But I would definitely recommend staying as it was a great location.

Lovely hotel. Room very cold was snowing when we arrived. Told reception twice nothing was done. Had to get into bed whilst watching television as so cold.

Very disappointed with this hotel..
I decided to check out of this hotel early as I did not feel comfortable, noticed cleaning practices very poor and general management of staff seemed poor also. As I wanted to watch the T.V. during my stay the television kept showing satellite services not available and only basic free services available. I have used Dury's Inn a lot in the past but noticed a general decline in services. sorry I will not be using this chain of hotel in the future.

We had a lovely stay apart from my husband having to go out at 3 in the morning to argue with another hotel guest that was playing rave music at 3 in the morning and shouting in the corridor, apart from that the hotel you couldn’t fault it and staff where brilliant.

The hotel was super cute and in a great spot. A month or so in advance I had mentioned I was coming out from the US for a concert to celebrate my birthday and being 6 months cancer free. Someone had messaged me from the hotel about what decorations I would like that they would provide, and I responded. When I checked in, they were unaware of any of that, so nothing was provided, which was a little disappointing. The gentlemen who checked me in though was beyond amazing, comped me Breakfast the next morning and gave me voucher codes for free coffee. He even let me borrow a plug in for my last day as I had the wrong converter plug in. I appreciated him so much! Another bummer was I was not able to use the free drink vouchers. Every time I went into the bar, something was going on with the coffee machine, or they were too busy with other customers. The TV also did not work/turn on which wasn't a huge thing, but I usually have it background noise to sleep. The walls are SUPER thin. I heard every person through the hallways, and some weird machine sounds off and on through the whole visit (had nothing to do with the construction).

Nice staff good rooms
Room was functionable, staff really helpful and nice, room a tad cool on a very chilly windy day and heating only seemed to work during the night, but despite that, I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing we weren't happy with was the breakfast. We thought it was expensive as the food was luke warm and the coffee was cold. The coffee machine was not working efficiently either.
