I live the hotel but charging 19.8£ for breakfast and 8£ for parking is a total rip off.

This hotel was fabulous. Lovely rooms, super helpful staff and a great breakfast. Service is super, nothing too much trouble. The only down side is that it is in the middle of an underdeveloped area out of the city.. We relied on Uber to get to and from city centre, but prices for that were reasonable. Hotel itself, highly recommended.

We have stayed here before and really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately this time there was an issue with the hot water so could only have a cold shower. Once in the freezing shower realused the shower gel container also empty. The coffee machine also had a faulty water container which emptied out over the drawer unit. The receptionists couldnt have been less interested. Paying over £200 a night room only and no hot shower isnt really good enough.

This hotel was such a great find! We loved it. Such an unusual architectural design. Spacious rooms. Great bar area. Great dining. Will never stay anywhere else in Liverpool.

The hostel failed for location. You have to take a taxi everywhere as there is nothing around the hotel. Even if you wanted to walk, it was not pleasant… very dilapidated areas to walk through. There was a design fault with the shower as there was no door or curtain and as such the floor was flooded after every shower. Extraction fan was not great either. The room was very spacious but insufficient lighting. Was also surprised that there was an additional charge to use the facilities like the thermal room. Will not stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, friendly and very helpful staff, made our stay for my dear friends 60th birthday so special, special treats treated us in our room, special treats after our meal in Stanley’s bar, would highly recommend this amazing hotel.

An amazing hotel. Spotlessly clean and staff could not be more helpful. The only downside is it’s about a half hour walk from the centre, but well worth it.

Staff was wonderful. There was no food service between 10:00-12:00 which was extremely unusual and not shared with guests. The bathrooms did not have an outlet to use for grooming, only for a shaver. Works for men, not for women. Overall, very nice stay.

Nice hotel. Corridors are impressive. Has been designed to keep kind to the original building which I liked. Stayed in a supreme dock view room. Nice exposed brick work in the room, big windows over looking the dock. Tiny window in the big window which you could open all of 5 centimetres. Bed is huge, soft & comfy. Really don’t know how people sleep on them gigantic pillows. I’m just not sure it’s worth that amount of money. Breakfast wasn’t included. Paid nearly £20 each for very poor quality breakfast. Save your money and go somewhere else. Greg’s breakfast is nicer to be honest. Would I go again, probably not. But a nice (ish) treat all the same.

Amazing hotel and lovely rooms. The only two things of note is I wonder why the corridors are so dark, and the main bar area could maybe be improved. The bar and grill area looked nicer

Fabulous renovation of the old warehouse, retaining many original features. Airy feel to the rooms and bar areas. Handy for Liverpool centre, taxis to most places between £5-10. Staff very helpful, especially the concierges. Only downside was our room was next to the emergency staircase and someone seemed to use it around 4am each morning and as it's bare metal they made a lot of noise. Our friends in a room elsewhere, which had a connecting door, said they could hear everything the couple next door were doing 😲. Would stay again though

I can appreciate what they’ve done to an old building. What I didn’t like, was the poor lighting in the bedroom and the mould around the shower. The food I didn’t think was appropriate for a four star hotel, the breakfast was cold, the sandwiches we had where dry around the edges.

We booked a night away from home as we've been very busy and stressed recently. We made the hotel aware of this at the time of booking and we asked for a quiet room. The hotel had excellent reviews online so we were looking forward to our stay. First of all let me say that the rooms and the architecture of the building are beautiful. The bath in our room leaked and flooded the bathroom when we emptied it. I can only assume this bath was not checked prior to our stay. When was it last cleaned? We were moved to another room on the same floor without a bath. This was not a big issue but this room was next to the road and we could hear the traffic from the road outside and sometimes people talking when they walked passed after midnight. When we told the reception at check-out they said we should have told the concierge as they could have done something about this? Also informed us the hotel was fully booked. So other than another extra thing for us to do, I don't know how this would have helped. The phone in our new room didn't work. We ordered room service using our mobile phones and informed the hotel that the phone was broken. An order of fish and chips and a steak sandwich took 1 hour and 30 mins to arrive. We had to call again at 1 hour to chase them up. At the time of check-out we were told the hotel was very busy and they "can only apologise".
