The front desk staff were amazing helping an old gal get here theatre tickets on her no data phone. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to London. Our room was large and the kitchen was great.

The hotel uses WhatsApp to communicate as there’s no phone in the room. However, it was a slow and inefficient process. Responses were delayed and requests were not fully fulfilled. Our double bed was uncomfortable as it was basically 2 twin matresses put together (not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel). The sofa bed mattress was sagging in various places making it also uncomfortable to sleep. Would say the quality was generally lacking.

The bedroom is too small for a family of 4. The bed was terrible, and the breakfast was not worth it. The staff was really helpful and very kind.

Wonderful hotel within a nice walking distance to Big Ben and the London Eye. There is a grocery store a few shops down and the kitchenette made it easy to make our breakfast before some early morning tours. The luggage storage was also very appreciated.

Really good location and lovely rooms. Comfortable beds and good quality bathroom plus good storage and small kitchen space. Easy check in and discrete staff presence to help with queries. Close to Waterloo tube station and a few minutes walk to London Eye and south bank. Will definitely stay again

We had a great time at London's Marlin Waterloo. The hotel's location was excellent -- you can see the London Eye from the hotel's front door, and a couple nights we walked from Trafalgar Square and the theater district back to the hotel. Not a short walk but not a million miles. The room wasn't huge by American standards, but it was okay for two adults and two teenagers. The hotel staff was very nice. All our family birthdays happen to fall within about ten days. The hotel staff dressed the room for a birthday surprise (balloons, card, message on the mirror, Paddington bear) for my son on arrival for a small fee. The boys then secretly asked the hotel if they would do the same thing for free, as a surprise, for my wife and my birthday a couple days later, since the boys didn't have any British spending money. The hotel did them the favor, no charge, just to be nice. There's a Pret a Manger right next door, an all night souvenir and light grocery store two doors away, and a larger grocery store next door that stays open late. One block to the Lambeth North Underground Station. Lobby was pleasant, the bar/lounge was very nice. The bathroom was also very nice and modern, and in the past we've found some British plumbing -- well, troublesome. Very well stocked kitchenette, from the coffee and French press to the fully stocked cabinets. For the price, the Marlin Waterloo was a great value. Very happy with our choice. Thanks very much to the staff.

Property was extremely convenient and close to attractions and amenities. There is a tube station on the same block and Waterloo tube is a short walk away. This hotel is located close to many pubs and restaurants and a short walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

The staff were pretty perfunctory, but pleasant enough. The room was basic but comfortable, if cold when I arrived. The stairs were not accessible, which for someone who hates lifts, was annoying, and it took me a while to work out i needed to use the key for the lifts. Overall, reasonable, if costly for what it was.

The property was dirty, j found hears in the sheets, the pillows, the floors were not clean, even found a bottle cork. I advise not to stay, the bathroom has build in the ceramic tiles. And the worse part is that management won't do anything. I tried getting a refund to leave to anther hotel and they wouldn't do i leaving and loosing money but better than having my 7 year old be in a place with this condition.

This hotel was very good. The staff was friendly and efficient. The location was very good as well, super close to all the major attractions. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our mini kitchenette and the size of our room. I recommend this hotel when visiting London.

The property was clean, quiet and convenient to the tube, groceries, and walking to attractions. Laundry was a bit of a nightmare-we had to wait for a washer, which was fine but the dryer took 6 hours to leave us with a damp load that we had to hang all over our room. We did let employees know the next day but based on other reviews they were aware of the issues and are not maintaining the machines. They didn’t seem interested in problem solving.

Marlin Waterloo was excellent. We enjoy our stay there. Amy was kind and helpful and the rest of the staff very friendly. Very good location. Our room was very nice and clean. We were very happy we chose this hotel. I will recommend it.

We stayed for 7 nights and it was very great. The rooms had a lot of room and the beds were comfy. The front staff were excellent! oksana and swassi Were amazing ver helpful and sweet. The red head front desk lady was awesome too! Highly recommend if you for want to be close to Big Ben, Westminster and the Eye.

Staff was super friendly. We left items in the hotel room and they kept them for us until we were able to return. Close to SO much including the Tube right across the street. Highly recommend

So near to tube and Waterloo train station. Could walk to london eye and london bridge. Quiet comfortable and clean. Love this hotel. Will def be back. Staff very friendly and helpful! Do yourself a favor and stay here!

From the second you come through the door it seems like an above average hotel. The hotel is very clean and the accommodations are lovely but there are a few major things that are very off putting for me. First is that the Wi-Fi never works in the bed rooms. If your on ground floor it’s amazing but if your on the sixth floor (where my room was) it would connect to your device but say it’s not connected to the internet. Second the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It felt like an on spring bed where the springs are digging into your back all nights. Lastly there was a strange metallic banging noise every night. I don’t know if it was the people below me but it sounded like pipes or other metal banging and screeching. It never woke me up but it did make it difficult at times to go to sleep.

We were so lucky to be upgraded to the top floor as it was my birthday and the views were amazing, the staff were incredible. I loved that it had a laundry as we had been travelling for weeks so it was great to be able to actually wash our clothes and not just hand wash them in a sink and pray they dry. The area was so convenient, only a really short walk to the harbourside, the London eye and big Ben and a tube stop pretty much across the road. We really enjoyed our stay here the value for money was so good and we would definitely stay there again should we find ourselves in London again

Good value for money and spacious rooms! The fact there is a kitchen in the room is a massive plus. Great option for families as the space is sufficient for kids and strollers in the room. Easy walk to the tube and had a nice view of the shard from my window. Would definitively stay there again!
