The place is conveniently located. It had a very nice mix of old school and familiar charm with modern amenities. I read about the rooms being small, and while they were what I would call small, it wasn’t uncomfortable or problematic. There was enough space to do what needed to be done, like sleep and shower. Breakfast and coffee in the morning were nice. I would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed in many hotels in London, but this one is highly overpriced. You simply do not get what you pay for except for the location that is near King's Cross Train Station. The room does not get served on a daily basis, and when it gets, the service so so limited to a few touches here and there. While the furniture is modern, there is no closet and the rooms are pretty small. It's even challenging to get into the shower or to use the toilet (my knee was hitting the wall although I am not that tall). Also, there is no iron in the room, but you have to use one of the shared ironing rooms, which is quite inconvenient. The elevators are so small (max of 2 persons). Also, the room key stopped working several times during my stay, and the receptionist did not even bother apologizing for this, which was kind of rude.

Hello Tervina,Thank you for your feedback, we certainly do appreciate itI do apologise that you found the rooms small, we certainly are on the cosy side with rooms measuring 14 square meters but do try and be as transparent with that as possible with accurate photography and room sizes published on lineWhilst small we do believe our rooms offer all a savvy traveller requires to have an exceptional stay, with chromecast tvs, power showers, tea/coffee making facilites, laptop safes and a great bed. The coverings you have mentioned will be taken down when construction is complete in December, we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back as our extension affords us panoramic views of the city.I do apologise that certain aspects of your stay were so clearly so far from the high standards we both set and normally achieve and will utilise your feedback to further improve our offering.We hope to welcome you back here in the future.

Clean, quiet, nicely presented hotel. 5 minutes walk from St Pancras. Rooms and bathrooms are small. This was fine for me, as a solo traveller, but may not be comfortable for 2 people. The heating did not work properly. I switched it off at night, but it was blowing out cold air when I woke up in the morning. It was hard to make the room warm.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were excellent and location great for getting around. Ordered food in for one night and ate in the restaurant which was welcomed. We stayed for 3 nights and the cleaning procedure is for the room to be cleaned every 3 days - we could have definitely done with a clean round, bins emptied and new towels after 2 days. I'm sure I could have requested this but I didn't so maybe my fault - just thought worth mentioning. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

I've stayed before at this Point A hotel and thought it was excellent value for money. I didn't feel the same this time. I was given a accessible room, which was larger but had a horribly floor covering and was eerily empty of furniture. The worst part was that the single tap on the bathroom basin was completely broken – not secured to the basin, so very difficult to operate, and also leaking. Reception said the hotel was full so there was nothing they could do. The room shouldn't be occupied if there's a fundamental problem such as safe access to water. I complained in the morning, and this review reflects this poor experience.

Booked Point A as the price and location suited me as I was just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours between journeys. Very pleasantly surprised by how nice Point A was, much better than I expected, and the staff were super friendly. I was slightly worried as I was a very late check in (after 1am) and have had problems at other hotels in similar situations. But even after 1am check in couldn’t have been easier. Very glad I chose to stay at Point A, and would certainly return there in the future.

Lovely room thought... I just first time visit here, so I was perpare to trip for Aberdeen (Scotland), next morning to catch by the train! However, I was little accident pain hit on my thumb sting skin and tickle on by bed! I try clening off the bed... I was just very embarrassed about accident where I am! I just apologise for that accident it is, huh!! 😳 Anyway, that wonderful hotel the place here the soul. I would stay here booked again in the near the future. Just brillisnt this hotel, buddy! 👍😊👍

Blood on toilet and awful bed!
Absolutely horrendous! When we arrived there was blood all on the toilet (not a small amount!) and when we went to complain they wouldn’t believe us and were rude! We had photos and so they moved us but awful experience. Bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep.

How did this place get 3 stars? The room was tiny and there wasn't even any closet space to hang stuff. It boasted coloured lighting. Why? What's the point? I know that people are increasingly charmed by technology for technology sake... people like gadgetry even if it doesn't actually do anything useful. Some "trendy" hotels use this cheap tactic as a cover for inadequacies elsewhere. In this case, tiny room but hey... no matter because you can set the colour of theveey dim light emanating from behind a mirror. Wow. In fact, it didn't work properly. I also did not work out how to indicate "do not disturb" despite extensive internet searches and browsing FAQs on the hotel chain's website. This hotel is in a scruffy, noisy area several pedestrian crossings away from the train stations. You check in yourself so that the hotel doesn't have to bother with old-fashioned concepts like customer service.

Great location and staff
Loved the location of the hotel being near the hub of transportation. Felt very safe. It was very economical for our stay and didn't have a lot of extras (no hand/face towels, very little storage or space in room, no coffee/tea maker in room and you had to pay even for hot water downstairs). The staff was friendly, the place was very clean, and they did offer a breakfast on site for a fee but I never tried it. Would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel, leave the cheap rooms alone.
Quick check in prior to arrival and when we arrived at the hotel. Great location as it was close to Kings Cross station. Clear reception and bar area. I would not recommend booking a room without a window. There in an awful air conditioning white noise that kept humming all the time. We had to upgrade the room to avoid this happening. But in my opinion, this shouldn't be the case and it was disappointing we had to move.
