Dear Madam Sullivan, First of all we would like to thank you for having chosen the hotel Alexandra for your stay in Lyon. We read carefully your review about the negative aspects, and we are really sorry for it and also surprised ! We are aware that the rooms are not very large .... being an independent city hotel, we optimize the space as much as possible, your room for one person was spacious measuring exactly 17 m2- to clarify the situation we could have switch to another room upon your arrival, my colleague having suggested it to you. All our rooms are different, yours was under the roofs - but we also have rooms on the terrace quite or on street or courtyard. All our team as a manager were anxious about your requests as a free gluten breakfast or TV english chains and try to satisfy it. About a free gluten breakfast that we offered you for free, specially for you, our colleague prepared around 5 free glutens salty and sweet recipes : muffins, cakes, pies etc, but it seem to not satisfy you, because you preferred we separated 2 types of breakfast. We remember, free gluten bread was specially put directly on your table upon breakfast. We cleaned your room only on the days you requested it and indeed to clean the room we had to move a little bit your personal affairs but the house keepings had been instructed to touch nothing I had personally ordered them to follow. We only have English BBC and EURONEWS and non-American channels as in most French hotels except 5 stars there are only English channels. There must have been some misunderstanding because I always express myself courteously to my customers, it is thanks to them that we are present and I thank them warmly. My team is always benevolent and polite despite this very detailed situation mentioned. However, we thank you, Mrs Sullivan, for the stay in our hotel.
