Relaxing penthouse experience
Our family of 4 had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful quiet, penthouse. It was exceptionally spacious inside and out. The villa was so clean, the bedrooms were large and luxurious with good sized ensuites. The kitchen was very well equipped with a good size fridge and extra drinks fridge which came in very handy. The outdoor area with the pool was stunning with very comfortable furniture for lounging on. We were spoilt for choice with seating areas and enjoyed watching the sunset and the fabulous views of the mountains too. The BBQ wasn't great and perhaps could do with being improved. We would recommend hiring a car, it's less than 10 minutes’ drive to the nearest supermarket at La Canada. Marbella town centre is not much further. All in all, a super place to stay and we all enjoyed it and miss it already. We did find the accommodation a little hard to find probably due to tiredness from a very early flight! However, with the help of google maps and a 19 year old daughter we got there. Perhaps an image of the outside of what the apartment blocks look like as you approach them may help. From our experience, aim for Rio Real Golf Club. At the entrance (on a sharp bend) continue down the hill until you reach a roundabout. Go straight on at the roundabout (second exit, under the broken arch), up the hill, when you see hotel in front of you take a sharp right up the hill and you will see the apartment block ahead of you.
