The Séjours & Affaires (SAA) is a long-stay, business person's hotel and so is not fancy. There is only a small lobby and breakfast room. The guest rooms have kitchenettes for preparing meals. The base price of the rooms DOES NOT include housekeeping service. Towels will NOT be exchanged daily and no room cleaning will be done. If you want towels, sheets or room cleaning more frequently than once a week, there is an extra charge. The neighborhood has nothing of tourist interest - it is a business district with almost no restaurants other than the hotel across the street. The SAA is about a 5 minute walk from the RER station. It is then about 20-25 minutes by train into downtown Paris (depending on the time of day). The hotel is nearly new and so has the "new hotel" look. However the building materials are not necessarily the best so it is not clear how well the hotel will age. The plus side of the hotel is that it is inexpensive and close to the RER station. If you have long term business in the Massy-Palaiseau area or want an inexpensive hotel near an RER station with direct access to Paris, the SAAM is a reasonable option. If you are looking for a Paris tourist experience, this is not the best option. The staff were absolutely wonderful. I arrived before check-in time and the nice young woman at the front desk set me up in the breakfast room while she arranged to have a room ready for me. The other staff people were equally as nice.
