Absolutely beautiful setting on the coast, the hotel is country style quaint, unfortunately its not been kept up to the standard I recall on my first visit many years ago. Furnishings are quite tired in the hotel itself, although the bedroom curtains looked to be fairly new and the beds were comfortable. The plumbing is extremely noisy, and the showers are old and were luke warm , we could hear the people in the room above every time they used the toilet, even at night !!
We dined in the restaurant the first night, and while the staff were very pleasant, they lacked knowledge of the menu, it took three attempts to get clarification on desserts, they also didn't know the cost, as we were advised "€49", which we found out was actually €55. A bit saucy for what was offered.
Breakfast was fabulous, great choices , hot food was made very fresh and to perfection.
Ideal for families in these times ( and there were a lot there ) they have a lovey outdoor pool, but if want some quite, you will have to use it early morning or late evening.
I would return, but will be lowering my expectations on a 4 star resort , its a 3 a best.
