I recently stayed at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch with two good friends of mine, and we all felt like we were "off the grid" as there was no Wifi and internet connection was spotty at best, but that's a huge plus when you're trying to "get away." We stayed in a rustic cabin, and it was quite "rustic"! The bath/shower setup was hilarious and something I wouldn't want to do on a daily basis, but it all added to the "ambience" of our two-night stay! It did get cold at night, but there were electric blankets for the beds and a heat-generating electric fireplace. The best parts, by far, were the food, the atmosphere and the campfire after hours, complete with S'mores and a singing/banjo-playing/guitar-playing cowboy, Casey. He was the highlight of our trip by far! Such a great guy who makes you feel welcome the first time you meet him! Everyone you meet is so friendly, from the staff to the other guests, and the night skies and views are incredible - pictures just don't it justice. Staying at the Grand Canyon Western Ranch is like staying with family, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. One of the best vacations of my life!
