I usually don’t give negative reviews but we had a really bad night at this hotel. We had a late flight into Dublin and an early departure so we thought we would stay at the Maldron and get 7 hours of sleep. We ended up getting about 2 hours of sleep each. There was banging around all night, I think people walking in the hallway above us radiated through the walls and ceilings and it honestly sounded like thunder. It would stop for 5 minutes then start again. We didn’t complain as we kept thinking it had to stop then it just got so late we didn’t want to move rooms. Like I said I hate leaving bad reviews but if you have the option I would stay at the Radisson or the other hotel in the area that offers a free airport shuttle.

The check in process was quick and easy as was checking out where we merely handed our keys in and hopped on the free airport shuttle. They offer breakfast to go, hotel dining (even late with a limited menu), and room service though we didn’t participate after eating in town and departing very early in the morning. Staff were kind and professional, the room was tidy and had everything needed, and it’s walking or a short shuttle ride to the airport. Downside is we only had 5 channels which isn’t great if you’re spending more than a night of sleep in the room as its main/only selling point is proximity to the airport with no diversions nearby.

Very convenient to airport and food was tasty, breakfast buffet had excellent choices. The room smelled a little of cleaning products and damp. Overall I give an excellent.

There were a few issues noted in the condition of the carpeting in the room and the trim next to the shower in the bathroom. Looks like a few updates or repairs may be getting pushed off. The staff and services were exemplary and we really appreciated their courtesy. Thank you!

After our flight was canceled, it was very easy to book a room at the Maldron and the hotel did not disappoint. Clean, friendly with a nice restaurant and easy to use room service.

I don’t normally write reviews because I’m too lazy to do so. However, I have to say that this hotel was spotlessly clean. Food was fresh and great. Hotel shuttle to airport was efficient and friendly. I Will absolutely stay at the Maldron again and recommend to others.

Its been renovated and it shows. The interior is modern and looks and feels like money has been spent well. The beds are new. The bathrooms are modern. My only gripe is the exterior looks like it hasnt been washed since the 90s. Oh well. I enjoyed my stay at the maldron. I will stay there again despite being a bit pricey.

Just an overnight stay for a next-morning connection. Actually within walking distance of the terminal. Twin size beds in the room but pretty comfortable for sleeping. Wi-fi worked very well. Hot water in shower was pretty much instantaneous. Overall, a good stay for what I needed.

Very handy location being a 15 minute walk from the airport (T1 & T2). Biggest downside was the bathroom being poorly designed. The door stopper is at the base of the shower making it a bit of a hazard and the curtain/glass didn’t do a good job at keeping the water off the floor. But of a hazard for an elderly person.
