That the owners are starting to refurbish. But take care of thins like clean entrance way. Sweepin hall and staircases. Make sure duvet doesn have stains and cigarette burns. I appreciate there us nuch to making a property refurbish but pay closer attention to the simple things. Like the fllors are not well mopped or vacummed. Beds are comfotsble and fresh psint great

There was power outage for almost 3 hours. Had my child freaking out because it was pitch black in our room. We had to eat in the dark using phone flashlights. Overall not a great experience.

I got to the hotel and it was under renovations. The front desk person stated the only had 6 rooms available on the entire property and it was booked. my commplaint is why dont they contact the third party apps and let them know not to rent rooms on there site . instead of waiting till you show up and your money has already been taken. It put me in a huge bind. donjt know about yall but I DONT NEED TO THROW AWAY MONEY

Walk in distance to Graceland. However, they currently under renovation, our unit was nice but lacking some of the finishing, no safe in room, no coffee machine, no smoke detector which is a fire code violation. The bathtub was dirty and still having construction residue and the toilet was leaking. No breakfast or coffee in main lobby as the kitchen is under renovation.

We grabbed a room there as it was right next door to Graceland. They must have been undergoing renovations at the time as there was a bit of work going on at the property, but as a result we ended up with a freshly renovated room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we were after.

There were no plastic cups for drinking water, or whatever. The ice machine was encrusted. There was nothing to drink (soda, etc.) on property. There were no grab bars in the tub/shower. There was no shower curtain. There was no toilet paper holder. There was a space under the door, for creatures to come in. I slept in my clothes. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but left the next morning. A very unpleasant experience.

My card was charged for two night reservation. Upon arriving, from out of state, on business, my room reservation had been canceled, which really fouled my business plans for the trip, not to mention my credit card hassle put me away from home, with no funds to carry out my stay.

After booking I was advised that breakfast was not available “due to covid”. It’s July of 2023 for reference and the pandemic is over. Weeds growing in the parking lot due to nobody cutting grass. Area of town was really sketchy. G$n sh$ts constantly throughout our stay. The umbrella remained in the pool water for the last two days of our stay. Satellite worked at times but mostly not.

I chose this location due to the proximity to Graceland. However, there were weeds around the entire property, the pool and parking lot that appear to never have been taken care of. You can see that theycare remodeling, but what is currently there is not being maintained. The interior of the room seems like they are still being remodeled as well which is great. But, there are some things that weren't taken care of yet. For instance the shower head was dirty, the plug in the sink wouldn't stay up so you had to lift the plug to drain and the toilet flushed, but you had to hold down the handle and it was VERY loud. Overall, the stay was ok.

I did not like that I to go up to flights of stairs to getvto my room, TV did not work and shower/tub was very slippery. Front desk person was rud. It is sad that you associate Elvis with this hotel.

I got notified 3 hours into my trip there that takes 6 hours to arrive from my home that they couldn’t accommodate me when I made the reservation almost 3 weeks ago after some back and forth they gave me a crappy room to say the least. Dirty room stains on the sheets and when I asked for new sheets I was told they didn’t have any. Terrible experience for me and my daughter to say the least!

Love the decor. However place was not very well kept up. Not nasty but could use some fresh TLC. Tv came on but never could get a picture to show on it. Air went off Friday late and it was too warm during the night. Nice walk to Graceland not to far.

Was ok. Weeds are so over grown... no music plays outside by pool anymore.. the top lock of our door was missing part so we didnt have the added security...coffee maker shoved in corner no coffee at all in it...asked for extra towels so we wouldnt need housekeeping over our 4 days and instead of hand towels or body towels we were given floor mats... light by sink barely gave off any light and other light fixtures in room like lamp didnt appear safe to use. Always stay here when in Memphis. Am hoping remodel has caused things to suffer and that next time it will be better.

We booked this online, but when we got there, the weeds were as tall as we were. There was a dead rat smooshed in the parking lot, but it was already paid for so we stood in line behind two other people, and waited and waited. The place should actually be torn down and started over again. Another thing that happened while we were there they were some young boys, running through the parking lot with police chasing them we didn’t really feel very safe and the strange thing was this is right next to Grace then

We did not stay due to condition of the grounds. Pool was green and weeds everywhere. Lobby was smelly. Room were missing doors on cabinets. I know they are remodeling but they shouldn't be renting out rooms while this is happening

Under new & far worse mgmt. Horrifying!
The hotel was recently acquired by new owners. While it was bad before and not really up to par on any level, it is now an absolute disaster. They will not even clean the rooms! We were there for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. They used some excuse saying we had to make arrangements with the a.m. crew. That did not work. Breakfast is non-existent (toast only). Paid 100 a night. Got zilch. A/C is loud and ineffective. The room was in the back of the complex where trash was all over the place. Some guests were partying in the back one night. Room was otherwise very noisy. No stoppet in the bathtub and they refused to provide one. Avoid this place for at least 2 years as they are supposed to start renovations. This should be shut down completely during the transition.

JUST DONT!!
I would like to start by saying that I absolutely never give bad reviews but I felt the need on this one. I rented two rooms side by side as my parents were with me. We are housekeepers so anytime we check in somewhere, we immediately check the bed linens. My parents had blood stains and other stains on their sheets and the comforter, my linens were fine but I had big dead palmetto roaches on my floor! We went down to tell them we needed new linens and the response was “we don’t have any extras!” We ended up having to move them to a different room. This room didn’t have a coffee pot, no big deal right? Mine did but no coffee. We go back down to the lobby and request coffee, their response to this was, they no longer serve coffee in the rooms, no room should even have a coffee pot, we are furious at this point. We decide to stay at this point because we’ve been on the road for twelve hours and we were exhausted and because they serve breakfast and coffee in the lobby every morning. My dad goes down the following morning to get coffee for us and they told him that coffee and breakfast wouldn’t be ready until 8:00 am, which is 9am our time. At this point we are fuming. When we go back down to get coffee and see what the breakfast choice is, it’s a cheap loaf of white bread with jelly. That’s it! Nothing else. We ended up going to Walmart and buy a small coffee pot with coffee and breakfast biscuits to have in the room. Everything else was awful, gross, etc.

This was not a place I would ever recommend. There was broken glass attributed to a car jacking - the staff never cleaned up the glass in over 24 hrs. We heard gunshots around 5:00am. The room was filthy with old food dried on the microwave - I did not feel comfortable using the shower. When we went to view the guitar shaped pool, it was filled with mold and bird droppings and a couple who appeared to live there were screaming at each other so violently I thought the police would be called - this was at 4:00 in the afternoon. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this to anyone.

Staff was unfriendly at check-in. Rooms were dirty, broken toilet seat, no doors on cabinet and smelled horrible! We did not stay! When asked for a refund after being there for 20 minutes to look at rooms, discuss and find other accommodations the clerk argued we had been there over 30 minutes and could not get a refund. I had to prove we were there only 20 minutes (thank you Life360). A horrible experience. Spoke with others that stayed and they also had to move rooms and 1 group even found a loaded gun in a drawer!!

Horrible!!!! The pictures on the website are a lie. The hotel is a mess. It is over grown with weeds the pool is nasty. The rooms are dirty and old. There was even a used bar of soap in the bath tub. The best part a that they have NO security and me car was broken into over night

This property, is trying to upgrade some rooms, but overall is very rundown. Rooms with carpeting smell very musty. The pool had a layer of slime on it. The stairways are crumbling. However, the most important thing to note is that this area, including this property, is very unsafe. Two vehicles were broken into the night we stayed. One of our two rooms had the locks broken off the door. A gun was found in a dresser drawer. The list goes on. Until major improvements are made to this property and this area, please do not risk staying here. We gave up our reservations and moved to another hotel in a safer area.

Dump
The place is a dump. Pictures online are from 10 years ago. However, aside from Graceland, the whole area is a dump so, not much to gain in putting any effort in to the place. Bugs in the room. Brown feet walking on the floor. Dirty pillow cases. AC unit not cleaned in a decade. Refused to use the shower. Toilet bad. If staying at Graceland, stay at the hotel on the grounds.
