You really should have sn ice machine or at least provide ice making tray for the freezer. Yoy could just get dollar store ones and charge if broken or lost. I know you can go buy a big bag of ice but there would be no place to keep it as rhe freezer is very tiny. That being said the staff was extremely freindly and very accomidating to our early arrival and 40 min late check out.

They just placed me in a room that I did not pay for. Said that they were upgrading my room, but put me in a handicap assessable room. Refused to accommodate what I paid for. Charge you for towels. Breakfast was horrible. No elevator. I had to walk two flights of stairs to get to my room. Overall, worst experience ever.

Thank you for your review. You made a reservation for a Queen Studio with sofabed, however we complimentary upgraded you to a Queen Suite with sofabed ADA. By the time you complained about the room, the hotel was 100% occupied and in good faith we offered to change your room the next day, and we did change you not to a AStudio but to a regular Queen Suite, another upgrade, before moving you to the Suite we asked you if will be ok to place you on the second floor since there is no elevator in our Art Deco property and you expressed no problem as long as it had a bath tub, Even our staff carried your luggages for you for the inconvenience. It was only a flight of stairs.

Right there on Collins in center of activity, dining and a block from Ocean Drive activity/madness. Be sure you enter precise address in your navigator, otherwise you are led a half block away in alley

My husband and I are frequent visitors to Miami Beach and this was our first time staying at Ocean Reef Suites. The hotel was well kept, the rooms were a great size, the staff was friendly, we loved the beach chairs that were included at the beach, and the coffee and breakfast in the morning was a plus. It was a quiet location as well. Most places we've stayed at have music bumping all hours of the night into the morning, which is expected in Miami Beach, so we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was here. Great for sleeping. You can also request a hot plate to cook on which was such a great thing to have as well. The only grievances I have are that I wish there were coffee mugs in the room for coffee or tea. They provide you a coffee maker, but no mugs, you have to go to the lobby and use the tiny paper cups they put out. Lastly, the hot water didn't always work. My husband and I were able to work around this because we're early risers and go to dinner earlier than most, but during peak hours, forget about having hot water. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is good and in a top location. If you want to go to South Beach and the bars in the area, this hotel is perfect. There are a few downsides, though: air-conditioners are noisy and the area itself is noisy. You might need earplugs if you can't stand noise when you sleep. Apart from that, staff was super friendly and helpful, the valet parking service was excellent and hotel had all the amenities needed.

3 Stars for the Location, but the rest is 1 star. I won't return nor recommend. We were 3 couples and we got 3 suites. All bad smell and gave us allergie. The tub was clogged and I advised the front desk, nothing was done.

Check in was great, thier small free buffet beakfast was fair. The 2nd bed in the suite was a futon so not conformable and we did capture a 2in long cockroach in our room but i guess being from places with out cockroaches this is worse for us.

Very much enjoyed my time at Ocean Reef Suites. Room was very spacious and functional for the stay. Liked the fact they had complimentary beach chairs through the room reservation. Only not got thing was there was a strong sewer smell at times. Not sure if an open line being worked on. Would sty there again

Stayed four nights. Housekeeping kept our room so clean daily, beds made, clean towels. Spacious room. Loved the fact they provided 2 beach lounge chairs. A couple of blocks to the area where they provide the beach chairs. Fruit, waffles, cereal, bagels, toast for breakfast. Enjoyed my stay at Ocean Reef Suites at South Beach.

I didnt like the no parking it was advertised on the properties rental list that there was parking on site but in true reality there was none and had to pay for valet parking which was $35.00 per day Plus after paying a complete payment online for the hotel room once we reached the hotel We had to pay a surprise $100.00 security which wasn't never mention upon Renting and paying for hotel room This was not right at all Breakfast was another issue for people like myself which I have diabetes Everything was sugar bread 🍞 jelly waffles syrup not good no hot breakfast at all. The a/c units are on bottom of windows which doesnt throw cool air Truly hot at night But everything else was pretty much okay and truly thanks to my higher power god thank you
