"Our visit was just overnight so we were unable to take advantage of most of the amenities. The front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful. We will certainly consider staying here again as it is close to Whitman College and very walkable to the downtown area."

"The location was great because it was right off the freeway, so it was very easy access and close to a lot of restaurants that were even walkable. The room itself was a bit to be desired. The pillows had stains on them that were very large and gross looking. I thought it was just a pillowcase, proceeded to take it off and found that it was also on the pillow. We asked to have our room made up as there is a note on the mirror in the bathroom that states you have to ask if you wanted housekeeping to clean your room. They said that they would and they never did so on our third day. We had no toilet paper and no clean towel’s and obviously no clean bedding."

"Everything was good except the toilet paper holder fell off the wall first use. They were unable to fix it during our stay so the roll sat on the side of the tub. Truly a first world problem but then again, the room rate was not exactly a bargain rate either. Also the faucet on the sink was completely loose and wobbly and you had to turn it on carefully. I was sure it was going to fall off during our stay but we made it out without flooding the room. Staff was nice as could be. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows. It is an old building so those sort of grungy corners and baseboards are just hard to update. The rest of the room was updated and clean."

"Thrilled to see more options in Pendleton. And appreciated the friendliness of staff, clean clean cleanness and rate. The pool looked nice too. Wished for a water option (fountain for bottles). Maybe we missed it. And the big gap for us were the very very soft beds. You feel like you are in a hammock. Reviews had comfy beds. That was why we booked. As nicely as this property has been restored (it’s lovely) and getting a great rate, and everything being spotless…the beds just deal breakers. Anyway, if a super soft bed is a non issue for you, this place gets all my respect for offering a much needed service in the heart of Pendleton."
