This is a new high quality second floor apartment(top floor)65M2 ,right on the beaches of Los Alcazares ,with a shared sunroof(sunbeds supplied) . The sunroof gives you a private place to sunbathe away from the hustle and bustle of the beach, but if you pop down the stairs you are only seconds away from the soothing waters of of the bay.
The apartment has Brand new 50 inch smart TV and free fibre optic Wifi, with marble floors through out and is furnished in a modern style. Air Conditioning and & heating, with a ceiling fan in the bedroom and living room, make sure of your comfort no matter what the season is when you visit.
With in walking distance you have restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, sport bars, doctors, dentists and much more. On the beautiful beach you have access to all water sports, safe swimming and sun bathing. Once you have arrived you don't even need a car, just be ready to relax. It is easy to rent a car locally if needed. Bus service and trains can take you to many tourist locations.
We are sure this apartment will give you a great base for a super holiday.

Go to beautiful Cartagena , or take a day out to Murcia. Maybe take a Shopping day at one of Europe’s biggest out door shopping centers LA ZENIA.
Go surfing , kite surfing boating diving what ever water sport you would like to do.
You can swim in the Mar Menor bay year around, as the water temp. stays about 5 degrees warmer then any where else, as it is a shallow bay.
Get up in the morning go for a swim or for a run & walk on the 6 km long beach promenade right out side your door.
All in all a nice place for a holiday.

Los Alcazares

Los Alcazares is in the region of Murcia and is situated on the shores of the Mar Menor. The area itself is known as the Costa Calida (Warm Coast), because of its costal location in the middle of Spain it has hot summers and mild winters. Los Alcazares is the largest town on the Mar Menor and probably the oldest. It has been a resort since the Roman times when they discovered the therapeutic benefits of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor, with its high salt and iodine content, is a non-tidal lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by the La Manga Strip. The water is very shallow (it is only 7 metres deep at its deepest point) clean and clear. Being non-tidal and shallow it is ideally suited to children and adults alike. The beach directly in front of the apartment is cleaned every day by a municipal employee driving a tractor, if you closely at the pictures of the beach you can see the marks left by the tractors tyres.

Los Alcazares is where many Spanish choose to holiday and as a result during the months of July and August it can become quite lively. Because of this, it is still mainly a Spanish town. The prices charged by the local bars and restaurants reflect this, they don't charge the tourist prices you expect to pay in more developed resorts. There are no high rise apartment blocks in the town, like you find in other resorts as there is a military airport nearby. The whole area of the Mar Menor has just been designated a National Park so any future development will be strictly controlled. Almost all of the properties on the beachfront are Spanish owned and a lot only used during the months of August and July.

Los Alcazares has all the amenities you would expect from a medium size town. There are a number of banks (with Cash machines), Shops and Ice cream parlours as well as Bars and Restaurants which cater for all tastes and budgets. There is a large medical centre and a number of English speaking doctors and dentists. Although it is on the whole a Spanish town there are number of urbanisations and developments on the outskirts of the town which cater for British, German and people from northern European countries. In these areas there are British owned Bars, Restaurants and Shops.

Carrifour express supermarket is less than three minutes walk away, which is open 7 days a week. Here you can buy groceries, provisions and alcohol at supermarket prices.

There is an excellent bus service which runs between the major towns in the area like Cartegena and Murcia. There are a couple of places in town where you can hire bicycles on a daily or weekly basis at a reasonable rate. During the summer months there is a ferry service which runs between Los Alcazares and La Manga, where there are bars and restaurants as well as beaches and shops.

The apartment is located less than 25 minutes away from Corver international Murcia airport The airport is served by a number of airlines flying from the UK on a daily basis. 50 min drive from Alicante international airport.

Our stay was terrific, we were met at the apartment and shown round, everything was explained & keys handed over. There is also a book with all the instructions and emergency contact numbers, should you need them. The apartment had everything in it you might need for your stay, from modern appliances to quality cookware, spare bed linen & beach towels. Furnishings are quality too so we lacked nothing at all. Out the apartment block door, turn right and you are literally on the beach, fab!! Various chirenquitos up & down the beach promenade negated the need for us to hire a car, ( there are plenty of supermarkets / restaurants within a 10 minute walking radius of the apartment), two weeks of total relaxation. I would book the apartment again in a heartbeat.

Well appointed, modern apartment....
The first requirement during our search was private parking due to our journey across France and through The Pyrenees. The accommodation was first class; large, bright and airy. The balcony was west facing, ideal for the evening sun and a glass of chilled wine while discussing the day's activities. Proximity to the sea encouraged us to swim each day; the wide promenade was ideal for walking along, with several bars for an obligatory cold refreshment. A supermarket was but five minutes' walk away and the bus-stop about the same. All kitchen appliances were modern and worked perfectly. We liked that the price was inclusive of electricity and wifi. Communication with Maj-britt was perfect. Thus, looking back, our experience warrants five stars and we would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful, homely and perfectly positioned.
We loved this apartment, it felt like being at home, everything you needed with the added bonus of the sun, beach, culture and restaurants. The owner Maj met us and was extremely helpful and informative, we are now working out when to go back. Fantastic rental so pleased we found it.

Great location, wonderful apartment, lovely resort!
Maj greeted us warmly & looked after us very well. The apartment is a stones throw from the beach. A great place to spend the day & early evening. Lovely sunshine and a gentle breeze. There are 2 restaurant areas approx 15 minutes away to the rght and left of the apartment. A lovely stroll along the promenade in either direction. Great holiday spot!

A super apartment in a super location
Just enjoyed a great stay in this lovely apartment. Maj-Britt met us on arriving and showed us everything but all was so new and simple to work we had no trouble working everything. The apartment is immaculate. Nice sized rooms, nothing cramped and super peaceful. If you like a relaxing time you have a super cafe and the beach right outside your door. Perfect.
