Welcome to 3rd Ave South in Wedgewood Houston!

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, situated within an easy walking distance of the casual and fine-dining eateries, bars, coffee shops, breweries and distilleries of Wedgewood Houston. We are conveniently located 5-10 minutes from downtown Nashville by car and 1.3 miles away from lower Broadway. You can easily experience all the legendary honky tonks without all the noise. You can also enjoy the park directly across the street.

Our home was designed with conscious care and the comfort of our guests in mind. You will have access to the entire one-level 1200 sq ft space. The house offers plenty of natural sunlight, high ceilings, and a clean open space. Each room is furnished with a ceiling fan, ample closet place, and a full-length mirror. The kitchen is stocked with the basic amenities needed for coffee and cooking. The washer and dryer is available for guest use.

The door is operated with a personalized access code. You can choose the four-digit code of your liking. The house is equipped with a smart TV, Apple TV, and an Amazon Echo.

Ample street parking is available along the street right outside the door.

Our friend owns the salon next door. If you are interested in booking an appointment let us know and we can provide you with her contact information! Bookings must be made in advance.

We were born and raised in Nashville and can offer you the best suggestions according to the experience you are looking for during your stay.

The house had some very nice features. The unit looked great in the VRBO listing, however we felt let down in the following ways: general cleanliness not great - dirty dishes on shelves; floors could use a good clean; exterior front entrance was untidy and in steps in disrepair; interior walls scuffed and marked . Non functional lamps and light bulbs; moldy shower curtain. The on demand hot water system was difficult to use, it took a very long time to get any hot water, we never turned on the cold tap. There was no soap for showers, as promised in add. All this being said, the host was very responsive to our requests for assistance and delivered the soap. This could be fabulous place with some TLC.

When rolling into the neighborhood it looks a bit sketchy, lots of people loitering around drinking by cars, by the second day we got used to it and the people we encountered were very nice. The place itself while nice looking in pictures was pretty grim. The entire place is desperate for a coat of paint, half the lights didn't have bulbs in them, the soap in the bathroom was a tiny bit of watered down hand soap, dirty coffee filter left in coffee machine, filthy cheap shower curtain, trash under one of the beds, only half the TV remote worked, and the thinest mattresses to where you roll toward the middle of the bed. It wouldn't take much to get it much much better. A few hundred dollars investment would go a long way.

Super cute and charming diamond in the ruff! The home was very spacious with large bedrooms and tall ceilings. Located a very short distance from Broadway. Perfect for our stay!

We had a great time.. a bit far from Broadway (about 30-45 minute walk) but we Ubered & Lyft'd for cheap everywhere. The apartment was clean enough but somethings were not. Hair in the bed or used hair elastics on the shelves. Great amenities - microwave worked fine unlike other reviews. The stovetop was extremely hot and burned most food on low so we just turned it on then turned it off to continue cooking - not sure if thermostat on it is gone. It has a wok, pans, grater, etc - great for cooking to save $$$. Easy check in process with your personalized code to get in. Two massive rooms & a pull out couch. Definitely would stay here again! Worth it.

Comfortable and location for guys weekend.
Great stay in a great location. Property was clean and appointed well. Parking out front was great. Six minute Uber to tourist areas. We really enjoyed our stay. Will stay again next time we visit.

Good stay
It was a good stay everything was prepared andready, location is good. Little far for walking but you can grab a scooter or Uber rather quickly. The property was in good condition and clean, the hot water did fluctuate a bit. However, everything was in proper working order. I would recommend staying at this location ease of checkin was fast and not complicated. Good experience overall.

Overall our stay was good and the home was great for what we needed to have our Thanksgiving together. Just one little thing the microwave didn't heat up for leftovers the next day. Wasn't an issue as we were out and about that Friday. Would stay again
