First day we decided to nap in the afternoon due to having left home early. Challenging to do because there were doors banging and a lot of noise in the hallway. Temps dropped in New York our room was cold and my partner couldn’t sleep because the ac unit which was blowing cold air was also very loud. I called the front desk and asked that they look at it while we were out. Came back to a warm room and space heater. Stay was otherwise ok. We were there for a concert at Madison Square Garden the location was perfect.

The hotel room itself is clean and is in a nice area. Near police station and near the subways. If you plan to use the luggage hold, it is unsupervised and anyone can walk into the room. Not the most secure, but our luggage was safe for the most part. Also avoid the restaurant in the hotel. Prices and items on menu don’t match their online ordering and when we tried calling to ask questions was rudely talked to. Went downstairs to order and guy working the front seemed lost and not the most helpful when asked questions about the food. Expensive and overpriced, there are way better options around the hotel area.

A/C -heat didn’t work No wifi for 2 days Soap dish old and cracked Keriug was very dirty Property is smelly in lobby and dirty floors/rugs There is NEVER a mgr to speak with - the front desk offers no help and always redirects to email - you email and get no reply - will never stay here The only positive is good location near MSG

We arrived before 3 p.m. and were told if we checked in we would have to pay $17 per hour until 3 p.m.--though the room was ready! I've never heard of anything like this in my decades of travel around the world. When we checked out early, we were told that we could leave bags in a certain area--where there was no security. When we went back later to get our bags, other people were told they could leave bags there before checking in (it was noon)--and they were not charged $17 per hour. Nobody mentioned that option to us. Also the rooms were tiny and the storage completely inadequate. No reading lights by the bed. And you could hear everything going on in the next room.

first they charge me for early cheking $120 no worries i paid it cash, they charge me again on my card 2 days after the chekout and they said they do not have any record of the cash payment. the water heater was horrible the air condition in the room it does not work they get me a ventilator for 6 persona, to wait for help on the front desk i was 20 nobody were there, horrible expirience

The room not clean especially the A/C was broken which we have to open the windows but only one window was working. Which made us 5 people sweated all night. We booked for king suite and it didn’t look like in the pictures at all. The room was so old and not as good as in the pictures. Not worth the money.

ALERGIES. Something about the room that gave me horrible allergies. I live with cats and dogs and never had this bad of a reaction. Maybe it’s the HVAC or curtains. A lot of dust on the desk/room divider which shows they don’t deep clean.

Can't be any safer in New York City, than by a police station. Great location to walk to main attractions. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

Front desk staff very warm and kind house keeping staff is very kind also. Rooms are way smaller than they look in pictures and bunk beds are very difficult to get in and out of. Bathrooms have poor ventilation so they get very humid and balmy. It’s more like a youth hostel than a hotel in some ways. There is work being done out front so the front looks nothing like the website pictures. It’s sort of down a side street and looks really nothing like the web. I paid over $500 a night which seems excessive to me but I guess that’s Manhattan? However as nice as the staff is for $500/ night I would expect a much higher end experience.

The location is great! The hotel itself is ok, very thin walls that you can hear neighbours snoring, hotel towels had someone’s black hair tangled in one big ball. Luckily I didn’t use that towel. The bathtub drain is super slow but the water does go down eventually. The was no shower curtain. The heat system worked well with some noise.

Family room was a really good size for a family of 5 and the 2 bathrooms in our room were a bonus. Parking is expensive, especially when you factor in the exchange rate. Definitely don’t choose this hotel if you want to use your car, as there are no in and out privileges. The parking is across the street so it’s also not convenient if you have a lot of stuff to transport to and from the hotel. We were prepared for this reading other reviews so it didn’t affect us. Hotel is in a convenient location. Good stay overall.

The hotel is close to Time Square and shopping. There is a deli on the corner for late night snacks. It couldn’t be any safer with the police station right next door!
