A well equipped kitchen with super electric range style cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and characterful old welsh dresser

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 6 with an additional small bed. It has a painted pine panelled bathroom with a slipper bath and overhead deluge shower and separate WC.

Bedroom 1 is a romantic double room with views of the estuary and valley, it includes a fitted wardrobe and dressing table

Bedroom 2 is a twin room overlooking the garden, with wardrobe and table

Bedroom 3 looks towards the estuary and valley and has a double bed and wardrobe

Bedroom 4 has a single bed and is quite tiny!

The house is set in a large, sunny, yet secluded and private garden, with several seating areas, lawns, shrubs and fruit trees, plenty of room to run about, a tree-swing, and a wetland habitat, spanned by a wooden bridge.

Beautiful interesting cottage
Rising Sun is a wonderful cosy cottage surrounded by luscious gardens. Cycling and walking straight from this house which has a lovely feel. Front two larger bedrooms are so pretty and the dual aspect double is spectacular both within and with its outlook

A roomy house, beautifully decorated and furnished for a homely feel. Garden is a nice sun trap and even provide reclining garden chairs. Great walks from the property and all around the coastal paths.

Lovingly Restored Cottage
A fantastic old property that has been lovingly restored by it's owners. Old sits alongside new seamlessly. Everything is as described and most things are beyond perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and is very suitable for young families.

Lovely place to stay
We had a lovely stay here, the cottage is great for a family with children. The younger children enjoyed playing in the garden, and it was safely fenced for the dog to enjoy. There’s a lot to do in the local area, the useful information in the cottage helped us to plan our days and we couldn’t fit in all the things we wanted to do in one week. Can’t wait to return.

A warm Welsh experience
Delightful semi rural setting but within walking reach of town and shops. Beautiful views and comfortable quite spacious rooms. Well supplied for cooking etc Adjoining road narrow and busier than expected but NOT noisy.Lovely restful rear gardens. We’ll definitely look to book again

Home from Home
The house is lovely - it's spacious and yet cosy at the same time. It is fully equipped with everything we needed for four of us to eat, sleep and be merry. The woodburners provided a cosy feel, while the heating was remarkably efficient. The views front and back are glorious - Newport beach and the Nevern estuary to the front and Mynydd Carningli to the back. Bob was a warm and friendly host - he was so helpful before and during our stay, without ever being intrusive. We would love to come back soon.

House is very tired. Standard of cleanliness not good. Shower curtain needs replacing. Parking a nightmare with car needing to be parked on very narrow lane. Rather steep steps to front of house some folk would struggle with
