The 1 bedroom apartment was really cramped and not very clean. When we got to the hotel they charged us an extra 12 euros for parking. The sofa bed was not set up. The bedding was not clean as i found hairs on the sofa bed bedding.

The AC in our room was broken. We were shifted rooms for the second night to with with AC, but the despite this accommodation the place was very tight quarters for 3 and didn't feel very clean.

Mediocre at best
Kind of odd. We have arrived at 10 pm, but we have entered the room at 12 am, because the door lock had a problem and we have waited the technician to come and open the door. No AC, I think this was a huge problem. Not that clean, the bathroom had no windows or a fan. The sofa had some weird noise when moving and the pillows where not sleeping pillows, just for design.

Uncomfortable bed, dirty towels, broken window, holes on the curtains, broken hair dryer, thats just few disappointing things. We stayed for 8 days, and there was no cleaning at all, even no toilet paper, we had to buy some.

Go for it
Appart'City type hotels have already been my first choice as you have everything inside your room refrigerator, oven, and induction, cutlery, etc to cook and to keep your stuff. It's like a homestay. Also, the prices are low. Go for it. You may need to ask to turn on the main AC switch beforehand at reception before entering to the room.

Very poor bathroom cleanliness . Fowl smell from the bathroom. Depaite repeated attempts to inform the reception no steps were taken to clean it or change our room. I was very displeased by behaviour shown by the receptionist in the lounge. I am going to speak to the general manager soon listing all the complaints .

my expierence
transport to nice centre was good with the tram service,it was difficult to get directions ,the people i asked in the aera i was looking did not seem to know there own aera and were not helpfull.i asked a lady working in reception about a bus to grasse she told i could get the bus behind the appartment ,i went and the bus driver lady explained i would have to gow to nice town centre i was so disapointed i just gave up,i would never gow back to nice again. the french people make no effort to speak english,i think because we speak english they think we are english,but are are irish and suffered persecuation under the english conquest for 800 years.if we treated our tourist in ireland with contempt the tourism buisness would be gone,i have worked in ireland for many years in the tourism industry and we treated every one equal with a hundred thousand welcomes,

25 minute walk to town centre but tram and buses also available and frequent. Lots of interesting places in the city. Pebbly beach but my family enjoyed swimming.

Hmmmm
Staff were very good and helpful. However, room was dirty as was the bathroom (weird smell in the kitchen). Pictures on the website do not match at all with the accommodation in any way. Air con worked, however was not adjustable. Rooms not cleaned daily or tidied but location was good for easily getting into the town (tram stop very close). Wouldn't recommend it.

Nightmare stay
Staff very pleasant and accomadating but are fighting against a poor quality building, On arrival the door to our appartmant ( I use their discription) small hotel room , didn’t fit properly so to open or close needed two people , we requested to move but no other rooms available . The next morning another guest was complaining of the same problem . We were given complementary parking for the inconvience. Room very small so put our suit case on he table , during the night the air con that hadn’t worked dripped into our suitcase soaking all our clothes, reception were very good and washed and dried everything lucky we were not flying till 4 pm our clothes were handed in at reception at 8.30 and only ready to collect at 12.45. We were given a free extension on our room . On leaving and handing in all keys we found ourselves locked in the car park , having to call for help through locked gates , reception were not answering the phone , there was no call button , the lift back to reception could only be operated by a key we no longer had , eventually another car owner arrived to park so we escaped just in time to get our flight .

The hotel is good for a 2-3 night stay, it has the basic amenities but nothing outstanding to make sure your stay is comfortable. The kitchenette had the facilities for more like one person rather than two e.g. one plate, one cup, etc

The major problem I had was was there for 5 nites and the trash was never pulled, my room was never serviced and only when ask on second day did I get a new set of towels. Maybe I missed a communication about these features were the way it is in a apt hotel. The employees were very nice and competent

Lovely resort for an Autumnal Break
This hotel is very easy to get to by public transport. The tram stop is just a short two minute walk form the hotel. The rooms are currently being refurbished to improve their standard. I had a basic studio flat with small kitchenette, comprising microwave, two ring electric hob and fridge. I was concerned that there was no kettle, but staff quickly resolved this. Lisa on reception desk was always very helpful and informative. This hotel is just a short 15 minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais or you can use the tram. I opted to walk most days as I enjoyed walking along and sometimes stopping for a coffee in a cafe. The hotel is also a short 7 minute walk away from Nice Riquet SNCF and from there you can get trains to Monaco (6.60 euro return) Esze and Cannes ( 15 euro return) or into San Remo in Italy. Overall a good base for the holiday. The only thing missing in reality was a balcony to enjoy the lovely autumnal evenings.

The place is a total mess. An old run down student campus(may be still is) building mainly used by drunken single men in a very rough area of nice The photo displayed by Expedia is totally misleading. we never ever stayed in a dirty,stinky like we experienced in Nice. It was horrible. We could hardly touch and use anything in the room. The carpet was extremely dirty and stinky. The smell in the bath room was horrible. From the entrance to our room in the 2nd floor we could not see a piece of clean carpet. As a Expedia royal customer we never expected this kind of garbage. We were very lucky to have a friend staying close to the water to accommodate us for one night(last night of our stay).To go and get the car on the checking day was our best part of our stay. I will contact Expedia for a full refund without any doubt.

Hotel near the tram.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit poky and could do with a more comfortable bed. Very near a supermarket and good to be able to cater for ourselves. Close to a tram stop and sporting facilities. Overall good value for money.

Great value for the price !
ApartCity position is comfortable, 20min walk to the sea front. Room is nothing like on the picture, but has all you need for short stay. Bed is very comfortable and we actually was sleeping well, despite the noise from the tram and road cleaners. Stuff was great.

It's a cheap hotel in a decent location. The room was dirty, the carpet looked like it had never been cleaned, the beds were uncomfortable, we had one pillow each, one toilet roll between us for three nights! The room smelt of stale smoke despite it being a non smoking room and we had to empty the bins ourselves when we left because if we didn't we would have received a charge! The staff were friendly enough and it was next to the tram stop but they are the only positives. This is the first bad review I have done for a hotel because I always look for the positives but this hotel really needs a complete refurbish or just a big spring clean!

Horrible hotel
The hotel was not at all how it was described online and how the pcitures showed . The room that was given to us was not the one that was described . The whole experience was awful the staff was rude and terrible. We were in our room for 20 mins and had to leave because the room was horrible . The room had mold, there was a water heater in the closet , which I found very very wired . The restroom shower floor was connected to the whole restroom floor . It was just a really bad hotel and would not recommend this hotel to anyone !

Nice hotel but location is not great
The hotel was nice and clean with lovely staff. Breakfast though is not worth it for the price and location was not great. There is a tram close to the hotel which will get you around Nice.

Depressing
We arrived late and were very disappointed. The hotel is very difficult to get to by car. The rooms are old and ours smelled of smoke. The Windows had no safety catches although we had booked a room for children and the smoke alarm battery was running out. We moved to another room where we suspected the sofa bed linen had not been changed. The one saving grace was the helpful night manager who did his best to help. The morning staff were also friendly and helpful.
