The hotel was clean, felt safe and the staff were really helpful and I enjoyed my stay there. Quite central for all the sights of Nice too.

Okish, but will not consider for future stay
Pros: 1. Great location. Everything is at pretty walkable distance. 2. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Cons: 1. Rooms are too small. It is so small that you can't even open a luggage totally. 2. They charge 9 Euro for breakfast but all they provide is basic bread, mini croissants, cereals, milk, juice and machine coffee. 3. No elevator and it was hard to carry luggage to the third floor using the stairs.

Good but tiny rooms
The staff are very friendly, location is great, breakfast is limited but great quality, BUT! The rooms are super small and tiny, including the toilet. I would accept this in normal conditions but the photos didn’t show that rooms are such small. There is no space to put luggage, there is space to walk around the bed, also the bed is very tiny, and sitting in the toilet will make my knees touch the wall!

Nice people running it but bad street more run down area. Rooms are extremely minimal. One sheet for a blanket and very bare bones. It felt more like a hostel than hotel. Very loud at night with garbage trucks running constantly.

3night break for World Cup Rugby. Loved Nice and hotel very convenient for all transport. Little bistros nearby were good fun.

Amazing staff, who were very helpful! Room was clean but very basic, only a bed and wall unit small dressing table and chair, with small bathroom. No where to put anything. If you were staying more than 2 nights it’s not really suitable. When I booked I thought we’d booked a balcony. So we could sit and have a coffee and some breakfast. But no balcony. And looked out onto a wall. Great central location, close to everything.

Bit of a mixed review. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They were lovely throughout. The hotel itself was perfectly fine just lacking a little bit. We only used the hotel as a base to explore the city from at it was fine in this regard. The neighbourhood was very noisy though so it was difficult to sleep, the beds did not help with this either. Only other complaint would be the Wi-Fi which didn’t really work at all and when it did was very limited. Overall a decent place with friendly staff.

Très bien pour passer une nuit au centre de Nice. Un personnel de réception 5 étoiles très bon accueil très dévoué quelque soit l équipe du matin et du soir. Avons eu toutes les directives pour pouvoir accéder à la chambre du à un retard d avion arrivé 1h du matin. Personnel encore présent à cette heure tardive. Merci beaucoup

This hotel is close to the beach, the old city and Main Street (Jean Medecin). It was comfortable and very nice to stay. Our room was small but comfortable and great AC. What made the whole experience so great was the wonderful young woman at the front desk, Salma. She was very welcoming and helpful! Our interaction with the other personnel was short but very nice as well. We recommend this hotel!

Hotel was perfectly fine. Small rooms but clean, walkable from the train station. Staff kind and helpful. The bathroom had a strange folding door that was very hard to open and close, kind of a fire hazard. No elevator so pack light!

9/10. Amazing value.
My stay here was very good for value. Great location as it’s only 5-10 minute walk to central station, 2 minute walk from tram line and 1 minute walk from a set of lovely little restaurants. Only thing that could have made it 10/10 for me was if I could figure out the air conditioning unit haha.

I base my ratings off of expectations. This place was not above and beyond but it definitely met expectations. A great budget hotel, especially if you’ll be out and about all day!! Short walk to old Nice. Very small rooms (as expected). They did open the windows which let in quite a few bugs, but other than that we had a great stay at a great price.

Tres propre mais confort sommaire. Prix a mon avis trop eleve pour le standing de la chambre propre mais vraiment basique. Tv minuscule, pas de bouilloire, chambre sur rue bruyante, assise des toilettes sans couvercle, pas d'ascenseur.

Detta är bara info till hotellet Hotellet bra och god service/bemötande. Men uppmanar hotellet att kolla rum 31 extra noga. Kan finnas vägglöss. Vi har fått många bett och innan vi lämnade i söndags morse kunde vi se spår i sängen som eventuellt kommer från vägglöss. Eftersom vi lämnade tidigt kunde vi inte prata med personalen. Jag har jämfört betten med bilder jag sökt upp. Det är bra om inte andra gäster råkar ut för samma sak. Men som sagt….bemötande och hotellet generellt är vi nöjda med.

Dejligt hotel som ligger perfekt
Godt ophold. Hotellet ligger perfekt til en forlænget weekend i Nice. 10 minutters gågang til den gamlebydel og stranden, og shopping næsten lige udenfor døren. Vi manglede dog et køleskab og muligheden for at skrue på airconditionanlægget.

Cosy, clean and centrally located
Small and personal, cosy, pleasant staff, good service, centrally located, it feels safe to stay there when traveling alone. Some noise from the street, but well sound- isolated windows. A had a great stay for 4 nights at Nice Etoile hotel. I will come back :)
