Friendly staff, quaint, old.
Located right across from train station great French restaurant right across the street. Room was ok. Bathroom was old moldy, there was big soaking tub with shower head no curtain so hard not to get floor wet when showering. Bed was comfortable, room small 1 dinning chair, table and bed. No ac so we opened the balcony door for cool air.

Very dated, grubby and poor breakfast. Beauvais is not a great area. No where to eat unless you want burger,pizza or kebabs

Not great to be honest
A bit of a hole for the price. No shower screen so the bathroom got drenched. Supposed to be a “superior” room but was a very sparse room with a small desk and small and not particularly comfortable double bed. No air conditioning. Expected better from the reviews and price.

The room was clean and the beds super comfortable. Like others have commented, there was noise late into the evening from the bar across the street. No wi-fi in our room, but minimal if we sat in the hallway. Staff was very friendly!

Old building but the rooms were renovated. Our room smelled like bird poop and to cover the smell they had put a strong fragrance which made it worse. Also wifi you can only get it in the main lobby.

A good find
Friendly welcome, from arrival through breakfast. Nice to stay somewhere personal rather than a chain. An easy link from Beauvais to Paris by train no doubt.

Very nice hotel in convenient location with short walk to centre of town. And close to train station. Plenty of space in our room for 3 people and very clean. Very happy with our stay.

The best thing about this place is that it is directly across the street from the train station. The bus to the airport is half a block away and only cost 1 euro. The wifi didn't work in our room, so we sat in the stairwell for an hour. They did provide a fan, which is better than nothing. The day clerk didn't speak English. The building is old and walls and windows are thin.

Thumbs up for the Chemical Hotel in Beauvais
Initially we were slightly disappointed, but the hotel grew on us, and in the end, it contributed to a great weekend. The hotel was very French - not at all corporate - a bit 'allo allo". The staff were excellent, cleanliness very good. The hotel was ideally situated for our trip into Paris on the train, as the station was literally just across the road! Our visit, on the longest day of the year was perfectly timed for the music festival which takes place all over France on the 21st June. We were made up with it, and will definitely do it again, staying in the same hotel.

The hotel is nice and well located, except that it was saturday night and the only place open in the whole city was in front of the hotel and it was a bit loud, but not an issue. Located also just in front of the railway station, really convenient! Small rooms, but nice though.

Lovely stay, central location
Lovely hotel. Nice bar, excellent wine . Ideal location near the train station, not far from the city center and historical district, including its famous cathedral. Wonderful view of the neighborhood from the room.

Hotel opposite the train station
A very mixed experience. The best part was the staff who were really excellent in attitude and friendliness. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower was a curious combination of a hand held shower (no curtain or panel) over a large corner bath. Breakfast was overpriced and poor. They use the same type of stainless steel coffee jug that British Rail used for many years e.g. you cannot pour coffee into your cup without the coffee spilling on the table. the only croissants were the baby size ones which are not good compared to standard offerings from most French bakeries. The hot food section was in the typical self service 'roll to open' unit hwich contained frankfurters and a smear of scambled egg which had been on the hot plate for several hours and looked inedible. Baguette was OK and took some portions of honey and Nutella. Average selection of cereal and yoghurt was also available together with plastic wrapped portions of cheese. For 12 Euro's this was very overpriced and I would simply walk into town and have coffee and croissant in any of numerous cafes or bakeries. Final issue; I paid for my room, which included free parking. When I arrived at the hotel I was told that parking is not free and I had to pay 8 Euro's per day for the 2 days which I required. They were kind in providing storage space for my bags untli I returned to collect them several hours after I had checked out. Great staff but wouldn't stay again.

Nice hotel, very nice staff....
Great locality, right next to the train station, bus to airport is right across the street, within vicinity of local shops. While taking shower, make sure the power outlets are covered. There's no shower curtains and water easily sprinkles over the outlets.

The hotel itself has probably seen better days, although the room we had was quite good , would have preferred to be more in town although it's only a 10 minute walk. Beauvais itself is not what we expected as it's quite a big town so would probably not stay over again

Does the job!
No air conditioning so be careful if the weather is very hot - if you have to leave windows open you will be up most the night with the noise in the square outside. Otherwise convenient for the BeauvaisTille airport and just in front of the SNCF station.

Nice little hotel by train station.
Its a nice hotel. Friendly staff. They only knew French, I only know English. But a smile is universal. The cheap room is small, but a comfortable place to call it a night. The fan is on a 120min timer is tacky and room lacks a/c. But the temperature was comfortable, Beauvais cools off at night in early June. So having no a/c is workable. The bar across the street is noisy with conversation , like a restaurant. But nothing like big city USA..

Liked this little hotel a great deal
Strongly encourage anyone using Ryanair at Beauvais airport to stay at this hotel and take the train to/from Paris (instead of bus directly to airport). The train is a pleasant experience and the hotel is a little gem right next to the station. There is a pub at the hotel as well as a great pub/restaurant a few blocks toward the central city of Beauvais (even open Sunday night). The place is clean, relaxing and I could only hope you get the same taxi driver as we did the next day who took us to the airport, telling us history about Beauvais and pointing out interesting sights on the way. One of the high points of our trip to France!

Friendly, high standard hotel in good location.
An unpretentious, quiet hotel, well situated for rail travellers, opposite a beautiful park and an excellent restaurant. Our room was delightful: fresh, bright and tastefully furnished. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Charming hotel
The hotel is older and a bit dated but that is also part of the charm. It is directly across from the Beauvais train station which was extremely convenient. Nice, big French windows open wide for a great view of the small town and the park across the street. The room was clean but there was a stale smell, as if it had formerly been a smoking room. They do have free wi-fi but the signal didn't reach my room, I had to go down to the lobby to use it. Continental breakfast was pricey at 12 euros and for that price I would have expected a better selection of hot items. Staff was extremely friendly and some staff members did speak English as well.

Hotel staff spoke next to no English,and were just not that polite or helpful. reception area smelled mouldy as did the bar and staircase to the room. The room itself was bright and spacious, bathroom door had no lock, but it did have plenty of towls which was great!!! No T.V in the bar and 3 drinks cost us 30euro, one of which was a cocktail served in a wine glass and didn't fill 1/3 of the glass.Beauvais town is lovely though and the churches are spectacular.
