Charming location with swimming pool and lovely flowery garden for 6 people, in Oppède, in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park (Provence, Vaucluse department). You will appreciate the freshness that the lush vegetation of its enclosed 1000 m² garden provides. You will be in the centre of the village and in immediate proximity to shops (grocery store, bakery, restaurant...).



Oppède is a charming little Provençal village where it is pleasant to live all year round. Not far from there, Oppède-le-Vieux is also located, a medieval village nestled on a foothill of the Luberon, with remarkable ancient stone architecture. You will be able to admire the entire valley, thanks to impressive panoramas over the Cévennes, the Basses-Alpes, Mont Ventoux and practically the whole Luberon.

The village benefits from a good geographical location to visit the Luberon (Cavaillon - Gordes axis) and Provence (A7 motorway Aix-en-Provence - Avignon).

Many activities are located near this accommodation with a swimming pool in Oppède in the Luberon: public tennis in Oppède, golf courses in Saumane (12 km), equestrian centre of Petit Palais in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

maison de campagne agréable

tout en étant proche du centre ville on s y sent isolée et dans un environnement très reposant. avec la possibilité de s y baigner dans une piscine d extérieur qui permet quelques longueur.

Hot house

Leaves everywhere on arrival, house not cleaned, dirty utensils, still waiting for security bond return almost three weeks later, upstairs that hot my daughter and granddaughter had to sleep on sofas downstairs, framework outside had no shade for 41deg temperature, no umbrella beside pool so no shade at all, this was supposed to be a turn key property but found out there was a local agent, waited one hour on arrival for keys then charged fifty euros to come out and told us if we did not pay her it would be taken out of security bond which spoilt our experience. The edge of the pool had dropped causing a trip hazard and no fire extinguisher in property for our safety, we have taken many photos to back up, the heat inside of property was unbearable, I have tried to keep an open mind about scoring this house and give a fair evaluation but struggle to give it a descent rating, lots of cupboards and rooms locked off with one fridge/freezer having a chain and lock around it, this holiday rental was a family home not in our opinion set up for the rental market, not enough towels for four people, no shower or bath mats which made the floor extremely dangerous, the owners arrived the following day to sweep the property but this should have been completed before there guests arrived, the private parking did not happen and parked outside due to large tree roots and a gate stay which due to drop would have damaged our vehicle, in all a very disappointing experience at this property

Inconfort total interieur et extérieur

Absence de tout confort: Pas d'air conditionné, chaleur étouffante ds les chambres, bricollage point de vue électricité, manque d'hygiène, draps de lit rugeux, manque de batterie de casseroles, mobiliers extérieur et interieur inconfortables. En bref: cette maison ne mérite pas dû tout d'être mise en location Juste bien située pour nos escapades .

Séjour mitigé

Si l'emplacement de la résidence est agréable et pratique (environs magnifiques et commodités à proximité à pieds) , l'habitation en elle-même présente un inconvénient majeur: les 2 chambres à l'étage ne sont pas habitables! En effet, elles sont sous les toits et lambrissées, la chaleur est suffocante...les ventilateurs brassent de l'air chaud, la nuit (si fraîcheur il y a...) ouvrir les fenêtres revient à dormir avec les moustiques car il n'y a pas de moustiquaires. Nos enfants ont donc dû dormir dans le salon durant toute la semaine... de plus les siestes ont été compliquées dans un logement avec une seule chambre utilisable au lieu de 3! Par ailleurs, l'alarme ne fonctionnait pas malgré notre demande de fonctionnement à l'arrivée, les explications n'étant pas claires nous avons testé le système le lendemain et il était inéfficient; il a certes été changé le surlendemain mais qu'en est-il du contrôle de la sécurité? Enfin, l'annonce indiquait 11h heure de départ or il nous a été précisé la veille que c'était 10h... En conclusion, pour le montant, la prestation de la résidence n'était pas au rendez-vous...

Bon séjour à Oppede

Très belle propriété avec un jardin à recoins sans vis à vis. Belle piscine. Pas de climatisation, mais les instructions d’aération matinale données par la propriétaire permettent de garder la maison au frais durant la journée. Quelques suggestions : un brise soleil, genre canisse sur la pergola aurait fourni une ombre bienvenue. Revoir quelques points côté équipement de cuisine, nous avions en effet un événement à fêter et boire un bon vin ou champagne dans des verres à moutarde gâche un peu la chose et équipement en casseroles déficient. Enfin, je n’aime pas les moustiques, mais eux m’ont adoré, prévoir ce qu’il faut avant d’arriver. Mais très bon séjour quand même.

Jolie villa à Oppède

Le bilan est contrasté. D'un côté le jardin était vraiment fabuleux et la piscine très agréable. Par contre, en ce qui concerne la maison, celle-ci était surchargée d'objets personnels de la famille qui y vit. Cela donnait l'impression de squatter chez quelqu'un et non d'être dans une maison de vacances. De plus, nous avons eu la 1ère semaine des problèmes (pré-existants) de canalisation avec 3 interventions plombier et 2 de déboucheurs ce qui moyen pour couper les ponts avec la vie quotidienne.
