The stay was exactly what we needed. It was a basic room and sadly not the cleanest (very dusty). Had to walk to main attractions which we didn’t mind at all. The best part of the stay is the bakery across the street, amazing choices everyday, couldn’t get enough! The staff were helpful and friendly but the room needs a little TLC

Nice Stay in Paris
Hotel was a quick walk from Gare du Nord. The building looks very nice. The front desk staff was very kind and nothing was too much trouble. However, did not like having to leave my room key at the desk. The maid service was the weak spot - my bed was made sloppily when I arrived in, but the bed was comfortable. Condition wise, drain plugs in tub and sink were broken and did not allow proper drainage. Also in the loo, fixture for sanitary napkins had fallen off the wall and was not put back up. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Downside for location, The hotel is next to a hostel and a bar which was loud at night, but did calm down early enough for sleep. The upside for the location, the hotel is in between Gare de l’est and Gare du Nord. This was perfect to get anywhere you want in Paris quickly. Good value.

A nice room, well soundproofed, but one of the worst check-in experiences I've had. Upon arriving, I was told I had cancelled my reservation. I was sure it hadn't, having received an email from the hotel confirming my check-in days prior. Eventually, I figured out that I had cancelled and immediately rebooked for a better price, so he found the email and insisted I hadn't paid and booked a room, as if he was doing me a favor by letting me stay. I paid (again) and never received any kind of apology or sympathy for his mistake. 15min later I was able to go to my room. The lady at the reception the next morning reimbursed me the second payment and was very professional and pleasant. Having worked in hospitality for years and received guests from all over the world, I find this to be appalling behavior.

Convenient to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est
A short walk from Gare du Nord or Gare de l'est, which is convenient for day trips in the city, and catching the train to CDG. Clean and modern but very small. Bedroom small but adequate for one person. Two people would constantly be in each other's way. Bathroom minute - about the size of the smallest bathroom allowed in the US. Barely room to stand in front of the toilette. Would not meet code in U.S. Very inconvenient. Minimalist breakfast choices. Staff nice enough. No refrigerator or microwave. It was sufficiently cold during my stay I used the railing outside my window to store groceries. A mini mart a few steps from the front door, Beware of pickpockets in the neighborhood.

Lovely little hotel, conveniently positioned close to Gard de Nord train station. We has a room for two people, it was small but more than comfortable for a 4 night stay to see the sights of Paris and travel to Disney for the day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short break in Paris.

Pictures of the rooms displayed while booking does not match with real conditions of the rooms. Rooms are not well cleaned, too much noise while sleeping hours, rooms need to be remodeled, there is no view of the Eiffel Tower as they displayed on the website. Areas around the hotel are unsafe.

Quite a nice hotel that is very close to Gare D'Nord, and thus accessable to everywhere in Paris and also the Eurostar. Staff very friendly and helpful, and while my room was small, it was modern, clean, and comfortable. My parents stayed here earlier in the year and recommended it, and I will likely use it again on my next trip.

Worst check in in my life, the guy was rude, could not give f….. about us. Did the minimum to answer our question. Place is very noisy and dirty. The lobby is nice but the room are ok at best. Will never stay there ever.

Hotel Albert was for us a charming, elegant, quiet oasis in the middle of a noisy crowded district of Paris. Our room was very clean. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful…perfect for a diabetic! Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, cold meats, as well as a variety of cereals, fruit, delightful pastries, and more. It was a very easy walk to the train station. The area outside was very crowded and noisy, and we didn’t feel safe walking around in the late afternoon or evening. But with the windows closed, we couldn’t hear any noise at all. A/C worked very well. All in all, if we ever needed to stay near the Gare du Nord again, we would definitely stay here again.

Ideally located for Gare Du Nord Station. Once you accept that rooms are very small you can appreciate that the hotel is well managed. Well kept and comfortable. Saying that as a hotels.com customer the pre arrival information was completely ignored or not acknowledged. Price point expectedly expensive for central Paris.

Knowing what the area is like, I still decided to stay here. The convenience to the train station was my priority. I appreciate that the were able to store our bags when we checked out. There is an additional charge for city tax per person per day. Breakfast is basic but ample. Staff were so good and helpful.

This is a wonderful hotel with a lift and air conditioning! The front desk workers were very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent! A quick walk to and from the Eurostar, and the Gard du Nord metro is practically across the street.

Great staff and convenient to train stations, metro, RER. Hotel very nice inside clean modern great air con in rooms. Be careful on public transit metro buses for pick pockets.

The room was basic and over-priced. The room was not cleaned on our last day and we had to request toilet paper and towels and retrieve them ourselves. No offer of refund and extremely rude front desk clerk at check out. The area is frequented by shady characters offering items for sale and noise from people congregating nearby makes sleeping impossible.

I loved that this hotel was easily accessible from the Eurostar stop in Paris (Gare du Nord). I was searching for a hotel with elevator (yes this was tiny but they had it), with AC (worked very well), decent sized room (yes) and with meal on site if needed (breakfast offerings were pretty good). I wish they provided washcloths to bathe but visited a few other hotels that also did not provide this so might just be a thing. We loved hanging out in the lobby area - so comfy. Also loved the bar right next door to have a sip. We had a comfortable stay here. Would stay here again.
