"Hotel Borg was our final hotel destination after staying at 4 other properties throughout Iceland. We enjoyed all for different reasons, but HB was definitely the crowned jewel. Understated elegance and old world charm. The renovations have been tastefully done to maintain the connections to the past and preserve the architectural motif. Highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are spacious and accommodating with a feeling of staying in a family vacation home. Location is also outstanding!"

"If you’re looking for a delightful place to stay in the heart of Reykjavik then this is the place! The apartments were incredibly clean and had all the comforts of home including a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, blow dryer, toaster, iron etc. The bedding was plush and relaxing with down comforters and ample pillows. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The soap, conditioner and body wash were premium quality. Every day, there was a delicious basket of assorted fruits, cheeses, vegetables, jams, chocolate, hard boiled eggs with a smiley face on them 😊 Icelandic butter and every morning at 8am fresh bread is delivered to your door! You really don’t need to even buy food for your stay! There is street parking or garages within walking distance for a small charge. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. There is a business center and small refreshment area in the main office."

"A little off the main area so it was very quiet but still easy walk to central areas. Bus stop 15 just across the street for easy pickup by tour companies. Cool mid century modern design with great sitting area, very good buffet breakfast, super service and a great value! Definitely recommend "
