The staff was friendly and efficient. We had an issue with our heater and it was repaired quickly and with consideration of our schedule.

Here seemed to be an issue with the reservation between Expedia and the hotel. However Anna immediately took care of us even with the difficulty pending

Billed amount was over the agreed amount. Staff was polite, but failed to inform us where our room was (a different building) the beds were hard and need updated due to damages from previous guests.

The breakfast eggs and sausage links were lukewarm at best, a few bites were cold. It was like they were my heated before going into the chaffing dishes. They would have been tasty if they had been hot. Also, parking was difficult because there were numerous semi tractors (no trailers) in the parking lot. Each parked across at least 4 parking spots so i had to park pretty far from the entrance when it was dark and cold. If there are that many drivers there at once, maybe some could park on the street nezt time. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfy, and the staff friendly. I have stayed here in the past, so I probably will again, since I have not encountered any problems in past stays.

If I could rate in the negatie statuses i would.....it was totally outdated and slow check-in, uncleanness, ratings dont meet what we experience

Overall, we were treated well. The gal who checked us in Friday night was a bit chatty and an over sharer. I was standing at the counter checking in with my adult daughter and possible future son-in-law and the gal is going on and on about how she doesn't want grandchildren. Needless to say, the three of us were a bit uncomfortable.

Hermiston Stay
The staff was great. I would banter with the gal who checked me in. She dished it right back. A pleasure to talk with. The entire staff pleasant and very friendly. The breakfast was good and the gals serving it were right on top of things. Did not use any of the amenities. A nice stay.

Not their best effort
I’ve stayed at the Oxford before and was pleasantly satisfied. This time not so much. The room, which is usually clean appeared to of been overlooked, there was hair in the bed and several additional guests of the eight legged variety. The bed was so worn down you had to be an Olympic gymnast to get out of it. The staff was friendly and inviting and made checking a breeze. I’m gonna chalk this poor experience up to a dud of a room. My overall opinion of The Oxford is still very favorable and definitely a chain I would put at the top of my search when ever I’m traveling.

The breakfast provided was great- I decided to ask for a breakfast burrito the last day & wished that I had done it every day, the Evening soup & salad was a nice touch, quiet , good location
