Hotel was above our expectations. At the time we checked in, very pleasant gentleman greeted us and went above and beyond to provide us with information and to accommodate us with best option for our big family with small children. Next morning - a lady at the front desk, was a little bit unwelcoming. We requested an iron and ironing board and it took several attempts and 1.5h later we got it. Then at the check out time, same lady was giving us a hard time about one of the card keys that my daughter accidentally left in the room. Front desk lady repeatedly mentioned that it would be better if we had returned the key. Several apologies from us didn’t release the situation..which at the end gave us impression that she cared about the plastic card more than the customer.

The staff were excellent. We had a disabled person in our party so we were given a complementary parking spot under cover to enable us to get her in and out of our vehicle out of the rain. I can’t recommend the hotel enough.

Hotel was very good for an overnight stay but the bed was so hard I didn't sleep more than a few minutes at a time throughout the night. I think it was a tempurpeadic (spelling?) which apparently suits some people, but not me or my husband.

Fantastic hotel.
Arrived on motorcycles. Manager greeted us and moved rooms around so we were together. Rooms have enclosed parking in front of your door. It was a swim up pool equivalent for motorcycles. Manager was there and made sure we got away ok. Hotel is a gem.

The layout design and quality of the hotel was one of the best I have stayed at. The heating and air conditioning actually worked and made the room the temperature we wanted. The staff we met were very friendly and seem happy in their work. The room was large and had a superb King size bed and a bonus of a two person shower. Other hotels should take a look at how rooms and buildings are laid out.

A great overnight stopover for car travel
An American style motel close to the motorway where you can park your car safely in a covered area just outside your room! Very comfortable rooms and very good condition with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is included and it’s actually quite good. Excellent value for money overall!

Excellent value for money
Hotel Nord is situated just off the main road, on the edge of an industrial estate but it is set up brilliantly. There seem to be motel rooms, that each have your own covered garage. We stayed in the hotel section where the rooms are on the 1st floor above the ground floor motel rooms. There is a massive car park which was secure. The room was modern and comfy. The breakfast had a good continental selection and decent coffee. For a stop off on the way through Italy Hotel Nord is perfect and great value for money.

Great place for a stop over
Although not in a beautiful location it was very convenient being adjacent to the Autostrada. Once inside evrything was excellent with very large bedroom, good food in the restaurant and excellent self service breakfast. All the staff were helpful and is excellent place for a night stop over. Would use again.

New hotel.
Very spacious, modern and comfortable. Surrounding area isn't much, great stop for drive trips thru Europe. Breakfast was basic. Decent price too. Perfect!

Definitely a place to stay when driving in Italy!
The hotel is just by the highway, so very practical is you are travelling by car; it has secure parking close to the rooms; the reception, breakfast areas and rooms were all very clean and well maintained; the family room was very spacious and comfortable on every way and breakfast was tasty, with proper Italian coffee and a good selection of salty and sweet breakfast options. All in all a great stay to stop for the night!

Horrible location
We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased by the hotel and staff. Unfortunately the hotel is located next to a chemical plant. And if you visit during transition months (spring and fall) they do not allow you to use the AC.

The hotel is a hotel and motel at the same location Is close by a toll highway, anything else around. Good if you have a car. Clean but 3 stars no more.

This hotel is just off the motorway, newly built, clean and food was good, but the staff were very rude, we arrived after a nine hour drive hungry and in need of a drink, so we went to the bar and was told it was not open until 19:00, when the restaurant opened. We went back to our room showered and went back at 20:30, the head of the restaurant turned us away and said they were full as they had a party of school children in, there were only 5 tables in use, so we went to reception and was told to go to another restaurant a 10min drive away, when we complained, he raised his voice, shouted at us and told us to go away, this was not only embarrassing but very upsetting, I've never been treated like this before and was shocked. We went away and came back after ringing Hotels.com, and the reception man again told us no we couldn't eat there and after more embarrassing moments he went to the kitchen and said we could eat. I have now emailed their head office to complain about there lack of customer service

Nice get away for couples, offers privacy
We had a room in the MOTEL part. The room was very nice and the shower with the double room makes it very nice for loving couples Breakfast was very nice as well

Fantastic hotel. Dont be put off by its location!
Although in a semi- industrial area, this hotels is just brilliant. New, clean, spacious rooms, very well located.It is off the A1 Milano-Venice motorway but it is very well insulated acustically. My experience on Italian hotels tends to be "interesting" as most of them need serious refurbishment. This one is relatively new! And breakfast in Italian hotels tends to be disappointing but in this one, the choice was very very decent. Nice little restaurant with lovely staff, I highly recommend it!

Nice hotel, conveniently located near the highway.
The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is great. The hotel is close to the highway (but you will not hear the traffic) and it is very easy to get to.

This is a quiet, comfortable, modern road-house, not too many "service" frills (that are unnecesary anyway) but absolutely does the job for a good night's sleep on a stopover. Ideal access from the motorway, satnav gets you straight to it in less than 1km from the A1. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. good bathroom, excellent (cold buffet) breakfast

Brilliant Find in Piacenza
Once the entrance was found (not easy) wow what a wonderful hotel. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the room was beautiful - immaculate and very sumptuous. And the bathroom with fluffy white towels and huge bath was to die for. The room service was good and nothing was too much trouble. As for the breakfast the next morning - excellent. What a wonderful find at such a reasonable price - we will definitely stay there next year. Well done to all the staff for their friendliness as well as cleanliness of the hotel.
